For the record Mark, the General Lee was NOT painted Corvette Flame Red for the TV Series! It was a Custom mix of available Orange paint that the Transportation Department had kicking around back in 1979. There is NO OFFICIAL color for the General Lee!!!
I'm starting to have a problem with the intro. People are born, Legal entities are birthed, Cars are built, not born. Oh well, these are the most beautiful Mopars I've ever seen that come out of this shop.

iirc they talked about how it disappeared for a while after it was completely totaled and allegedly everyone that saw what was left of the car said it would never be road worthy again. So this car was the reason behind starting the show, Graveyard Carz, bringing cars that other shops wouldnt touch, back from the dead and this Cuda was the definition of totaled. They talk about it a lot more in the earlier seasons since the project got shelved around season 4 pretty much and is only making its return in season 6 & 7
It amazes me no end how a female can state she is working very hard and pulling her weight when the truth be told, she does sweet fuck all. Women avoid the hard physical, dirty work that men do and they definately never become involved in anything even remotely dangerous. The boss's daughter is more of a Tinkerbelle fairy. Oh, did I memtion that this is the reason men earn more money than women.

The dukes car was all paint from the first show to the last they threw all the paint together there wasn't really a paint code for it
