Fun fact about the plinx, because it's a battery weapon it reloads when holstering, add any form of reload holster boost, pair it with a vigorous swap, some fire rate, a radiation progenitor bonus and you get an eidolon nuke that can be spammed anywhere.

It'd be really helpful to also have a kitgun/zaw tier list and build. Mine are all years old and out of date, and I have no idea what parts are best for each. Probably even more confusing for newer players. Thanks for the in depth info!
Personally I love the arca plasmor because I main gauss so popping redline gives that big buff to reload and fire rate making it so much more viable letting you mod for more things

That arca plasmor build is legit so much better to play than your standard slow firing hunter munitions / semi cannonade builds I see people put out. I found you can find a decent toxin + base damage riven with a harmless curse to help ramp up the initial damage before merciless stacks and it's even better.
I dont run humu but i do use cannonade because i don't normally use external fire rate buffs and it negates the Down side to critical deceleration so im atleast not losing fire rate
honestly just replace the faction mod with primed point blank. the gun already have multi CO, so more base damage will be good, and no ramp up also. primed elec mod will make a huge difference too.
For those who don't know, the Tenet Ferrox is one of the only two spearguns in the game in pretty sure that can Orange/Red crit on Styanax, it's so fun
Synergy not mentioned that makes the plinx absolutely S+++ tier (just like Mag+arca plasmor). Garuda with her Blood Forge augment. It instantly reloads the plinx. Alt fire spam for days. Hit 3, hit 4, shoot alt fire plinx and get massive aoe slash procs (the frame arcane Molt Reconstruct will heal garuda so bloodletting doesn't kill you). It can go even harder by adding Zephyr airburst rounds augment over garuda 2 and range/str to the build, primed flow + secondary surge on the plinx.
The Tenet arca does well at base fire rate and reload if you go for a semi-shotgun cannonade + shotgun vendetta setup. You dont need to shoot more times if the enemy dies in one trigger pull
In defence of the Tenet Exec, the Tempo Royale stance has a very powerful heavy attack with a lift proc, which works really well with melee afflictions. Mine has a toxin progenitor and (bare with me) mine is currently modded for pure gas damage with galv elementalist. I've found that it performs extremely well in SP, and since gas is pretty much faction neutral, it's very consistent and good for missions with mixed factions. Also, you can trigger the slam wave with the aiming combo on Tempo Royale, should you want to.
I feel similarly about the flux rifle. I got lucky and rolled a + 2.1 punch through, + 65 multishot, + 50 fire rate riven for it which does make it much more fun to use but i find myself never using it simply because its outclassed by the glaxion, arca plasmor, etc.
Man flux rifle is so frustating to me, when i first saw the tenet being announced i got really excited because it's a unique laser weapon limited by being a low level, then i farm it only to learn that they turned it into a machinegun. They were gonna make mid tenet rifle they should have moved the dera instead.
8:48 I'd actually suggest using Primed Ammo Stock instead of Primed Tactical Pump. The reason is simple: the value is 10% higher on Primed Ammo Stock. So instead of reloading in half the time, you'll spend more than double the time shooting instead, which is an overall sustained DPS gain. You're also not taking the diminishing returns of stacking reload speed into consideration. Arcane Merciless by itself drops your reload to 2,3s, adding Primed Tactical Pump on top reduces it to 1,3s, which is only 1 second less instead of 1,5s if you used a different arcane. There's a lot more sources of reload speed than there are sources of magazine capacity.
@souleater4242564kodd how exactly am I wrong? You either reload in half the time, so 1,5s (100% Reload Speed) or you get 11 extra shots per magazine (110% magazine capacity). It's simple math. If you don't trust me, go test it yourself in-game. P.S: Aznvasions also has a video on Primed Ammo Stock VS Primed Tactical Pump and it features the Tenet Arca Plasmor too, if you'd rather trust another creator instead and don't want to do the math yourself.
Worth noting as well, Tenet Diplos are super meta for Profit Taker speedruns. Many runs high on the leaderboard use them, especially ones in the Rivens allowed category! Them being crit hoses, as well as supporting a Progenitor Element allows for some very very good building specifically for that setup, and are used in combination with a Contagion Zaw and usually Zenith or Kuva Ogris. For that niche they're definitely S tier but A tier for everything else is a perfectly good rating for that weapon specifically.
as a certified tenet envoy lover, i suggest a magnetic progenitor for it rather than toxin. it makes or more versatile across factions and for single target. same thing for arca plasmor, and run it with gauss for the most fun shotgun in the game subjectively.
I used the Tenet Plasmor with Xata’s Whisper due to the fact that it creates a smaller version of Mags bubble. Also, it gives void damage to the weapon which helps is applicable with galvanized savvy.
the tenet farrox is one of my favorite weapons in the game and does do some wild damage without riv and with your build choice was just rough for what it’s for and its unique ability is super effective with Nidus
Tenet arca plasmor: Honestly, I don't understand why I don't see more people using the synth mods and doing melee shoot melee shoot setups to avoid the reload issues. I never reload my TAP manually.
The placement of the Flux Rifle and Ferrox hurt my soul, Flux Rifle is good because it just mows down swathes of enemies in the most satisfying way, and the Ferrox actually has some stupid goofy damage with no gimmick build in mind.
Diplos with magnetic is great too for Profit Taker runs because you can get more elements in a single weapon. And even better if you have a riven to cover an elemental combo
Another fun thing about the Tenet Exec, is that Rending Crane's forward-block combo lets you create the shockwaves without slamming. Further, I know you aren't judging based on synergy, but since the forward block slams aren't technically slams but just normal melee, Mirage's clones will create their own shockwaves as well, allowing you to have huge shockwave without a heavy slam. Won't increase its tier listing, but I thought you'd like to know.
Tenet Ferrox's alt fire is not for grouping but for trapping, enemies can not escape the radius, so you can throw it in a hallway to prevent any enemy from coming out of it for a while
Flux Rifle is somewhat functional with a Hunter Munitions setup, and otherwise going with Status DoT like Slash, Elec, Heat, or Toxin, that's probably like the easiest way to make it usable imo due to its solid crit and status stats, and high base fire rate. It won't do the most damage in the world, for sure, definitely gonna be worse than the same setup on a Torid or Burston or even some other non-Incarnon weapons, but it will at least function in base Steel Path. It got me through Steel Path Circuit at minimum, til I could get better Incarnon-based weapons, so it has a place in my heart, just not a place in my inventory anymore lol
I played with grigori for a very long time and to be honest, I fell in love with it even more with the release of melee afflictions, i just love this weapon

Tenet agendus is one of the best non incarnon melee weapons for influence. Because it has base electric if you get innate cold (will appear as magnetic in the shop) you can get viral electric by just adding a single toxin mod, so you have more room on the build for other multipliers. Also i believe the final harbinger neutral combo might be the highest damage stance combo in the game, and it has forced slash.
Small note: The Tenet Agendus has innate electricity, AND a progenitor. My foolish self didn't know that, so I picked what I thought was a magnetic progenitor. It was actually cold. Funny part is it worked out as modding the weapon for 60/60 viral gave viral/electric and melee influence as the final build.
Tenet Glaxion with Magnetic progenitor has been so fun to use. It's a nice break from using Torid as a monster of a weapon, much more comfortable to use and also has room for so many different builds. The augment is nice. The primer build is funny when swapping to a Furis Prime or something like a Pyrana Prime. Overall my top Tenet gun next to Arca Plasmor since that baby gave me so much happiness during these years :P
For the Tenet Grigori, The second attack in a heavy attack chain will also shoot a disk. (Also the disk can proc vortex and suck enemies into the disk.)
The thing about the Livia i love is, you can just have your Beast companion stack it up to 220 Combo in the background with Tandem Bond, and when you come across something you want deleted you just whip it out, do one charged heavy, and put it away No hussle.
Thank you for the video. i have been using flux even before the tenet variant was a thing , and loving it . Here are some of my tips: -get cold or toxin progenitor on it, -don't have to have it at a high percentage, as it will increase the slash priority. go for an unranked 60-60 to get viral on it, the rest is generic hybrid build, don't like using hunter munitions on it, but will work either way Love the weapon,
Compared with your kuva weapons vid. This one is way better in every single aspect. The only thing I would have done different is putting Tetra in A tier. It is one amongst the most heavy hitting primaries ingame at the moment. For those seeking for the best progenitors, this vid fit very well.. But not for Tenet grigori, it's best with magnetic for enhanced damage on the heavy slide. In any case, you can't go wrong with Tenet weapons, play with them as you like.
On the Tenet Exec: try voruna, crits a lot, can double dip into condiload. Not only that, the are waves guarantee to knock up enemies, which triggers melee afflictions. An inherent electricity addition to that weapon is fantastic. I run SacSteel which gives me 105%+ CRIT chance and amalagOrganShatter, 4.4x damage multiplier. In all honesty I just like it cuz it reminds me of Guts from berserk while I'm swinging that thing.
In the future, if you feel like giving it another go, try Tenet Flux with Primary Plated Rounds. It is a great platform for it, even more so when comboed with a frame like Harrow.
It's funny you mentioned the detron being used for profit taker immediately after the tenet diplos which is one of the meta weapons for profit taker lol
I have found a little trick to make the Arca Plasmor much more enjoyable and its with the parazon mod which reloads the weapon on mercy kill. One or two punch in a pack, slide in and finish off with mercy any eximus or heavy unit remaining. And something interesting, every hits within a certain range come with a guaranteed impact proc, setting up the mercy kill.
I really didn’t like the spirex when I first got it, and it spent literal YEARS gathering dust in my inventory. Then one day I decided on a whim to give it a fair shot, and I absolutely fell in love with the thing. Let’s just say that it’s an absolutely perfect pairing with Zephyr…
Good vid. As for Sampotes, it's blasts can trigger status and crit, so with melee afflictions on lavos with valence buff, you can get upto 21 heat procs in a single heavy slam on a target😅
All the ones in S-Tier, absolutely, the others yes as well, although the Ferrox can reach absurd damage numbers. I don’t think any of them are D-Tier material.

Sampotes actually does apply weapon status effects, it's just the Exec that doesn't do status. Sampotes problem is that its waves don't benefit from combo

If you want to go viral/heat for the glaxion, consider getting an _unleveled(!)_ cold+toxin riven. With this you can go heat as your progenitor and maximize the heat procs and minimize the viral procs. Otherwise just go magnetic as progenitor imo.
Honestly i dont find myself building into specific synergies most of the time since i want the weapons to be circuit and EDA ready so i think this is a good way of rating.
I hate the Tenet Ferrox rating, not because you're wrong, but because you're so right. Spearguns, at least the ones I've tried, are all just . . disappointing. It's a super cool weapon type, but they're just . . okay. Again, in my experience, which is mostly getting them randomly when playing through the circuit. Though, the Tenet Ferrox might be pretty good paired with Styanax, given its high crit stats and Styanax's passive. Might be worth trying out if you didn't scrap the weapon yet
With Tenet Exec, I can get heavy slams into the millions on 200+ lvl enemies (and yes on just the explosions too). I used it in my first EDA and did like 70% of the squad's damage. It is an INSANE weapon when built for crit/slam, and that's before I discovered Nira mods, which seem to stack multiplicatively with Seismic Wave. Build: Sac Steel/Pressure, Galv Reflex/Elementalist, Gladiator Might, Organ Shatter, Seismic wave, Condi overload if you have an easy primer, otherwise Blood Rush for more red crit or maybe Primed Fever Strike (I took toxin valence but I'm not sure it's the best). Base 142.5% CC, 6.9x CD, 22% status. On the Warframe I'm using Arcane Fury and Nira's Anguish+Hatred, but these are optional. I'm using Arcane Energize, but Avenger would push it even further. I only have one Tauforged crit shard for an additional 37.5% melee CC, but you could stack red/purple crit shards to get even more bonkers numbers. Tenet Exec is S-tier, along with Sampotes (same gimmick but even bigger AoE).

Pair it with rauta or Kullervo and you get a godly amount of heavy attack power.
The placement of the Flux Rifle and Ferrox hurt my soul, Flux Rifle is good because it just mows down swathes of enemies in the most satisfying way, and the Ferrox actually has some stupid goofy damage with no gimmick build in mind.
Diplos with magnetic is great too for Profit Taker runs because you can get more elements in a single weapon. And even better if you have a riven to cover an elemental combo

The dispos the target lock thing feels like it would be good to prime a room of enemies than switch to your other weapons while it reloads
Another fun thing about the Tenet Exec, is that Rending Crane's forward-block combo lets you create the shockwaves without slamming.
Further, I know you aren't judging based on synergy, but since the forward block slams aren't technically slams but just normal melee, Mirage's clones will create their own shockwaves as well, allowing you to have huge shockwave without a heavy slam. Won't increase its tier listing, but I thought you'd like to know.

Tenet Ferrox's alt fire is not for grouping but for trapping, enemies can not escape the radius, so you can throw it in a hallway to prevent any enemy from coming out of it for a while
Flux Rifle is somewhat functional with a Hunter Munitions setup, and otherwise going with Status DoT like Slash, Elec, Heat, or Toxin, that's probably like the easiest way to make it usable imo due to its solid crit and status stats, and high base fire rate.
It won't do the most damage in the world, for sure, definitely gonna be worse than the same setup on a Torid or Burston or even some other non-Incarnon weapons, but it will at least function in base Steel Path. It got me through Steel Path Circuit at minimum, til I could get better Incarnon-based weapons, so it has a place in my heart, just not a place in my inventory anymore lol
I played with grigori for a very long time and to be honest, I fell in love with it even more with the release of melee afflictions, i just love this weapon
I so agree with you on Exec, it looks so good, but if it’s meh, it has to compete with all the other 3 melees

Tenet agendus is one of the best non incarnon melee weapons for influence. Because it has base electric if you get innate cold (will appear as magnetic in the shop) you can get viral electric by just adding a single toxin mod, so you have more room on the build for other multipliers. Also i believe the final harbinger neutral combo might be the highest damage stance combo in the game, and it has forced slash.
Small note: The Tenet Agendus has innate electricity, AND a progenitor. My foolish self didn't know that, so I picked what I thought was a magnetic progenitor. It was actually cold. Funny part is it worked out as modding the weapon for 60/60 viral gave viral/electric and melee influence as the final build.
Tenet Glaxion with Magnetic progenitor has been so fun to use. It's a nice break from using Torid as a monster of a weapon, much more comfortable to use and also has room for so many different builds. The augment is nice. The primer build is funny when swapping to a Furis Prime or something like a Pyrana Prime. Overall my top Tenet gun next to Arca Plasmor since that baby gave me so much happiness during these years :P

For the Tenet Grigori, The second attack in a heavy attack chain will also shoot a disk. (Also the disk can proc vortex and suck enemies into the disk.)
The thing about the Livia i love is, you can just have your Beast companion stack it up to 220 Combo in the background with Tandem Bond, and when you come across something you want deleted you just whip it out, do one charged heavy, and put it away No hussle.

i have been using flux even before the tenet variant was a thing , and loving it . Here are some of my tips:
-get cold or toxin progenitor on it,
-don't have to have it at a high percentage, as it will increase the slash priority.
go for an unranked 60-60 to get viral on it,
the rest is generic hybrid build, don't like using hunter munitions on it, but will work either way

The only thing I would have done different is putting Tetra in A tier. It is one amongst the most heavy hitting primaries ingame at the moment.
For those seeking for the best progenitors, this vid fit very well.. But not for Tenet grigori, it's best with magnetic for enhanced damage on the heavy slide.
In any case, you can't go wrong with Tenet weapons, play with them as you like.
Grigori love, nice. Get an electric one and run blast with melee influence. Rooms of enemies disappear. Currently my go to melee.
On the Tenet Exec: try voruna, crits a lot, can double dip into condiload. Not only that, the are waves guarantee to knock up enemies, which triggers melee afflictions. An inherent electricity addition to that weapon is fantastic.
I run SacSteel which gives me 105%+ CRIT chance and amalagOrganShatter, 4.4x damage multiplier.
In all honesty I just like it cuz it reminds me of Guts from berserk while I'm swinging that thing.

In the future, if you feel like giving it another go, try Tenet Flux with Primary Plated Rounds. It is a great platform for it, even more so when comboed with a frame like Harrow.
It's funny you mentioned the detron being used for profit taker immediately after the tenet diplos which is one of the meta weapons for profit taker lol
I have found a little trick to make the Arca Plasmor much more enjoyable and its with the parazon mod which reloads the weapon on mercy kill.
One or two punch in a pack, slide in and finish off with mercy any eximus or heavy unit remaining. And something interesting, every hits within a certain range come with a guaranteed impact proc, setting up the mercy kill.
You won't believe if I say I logged in warframe in my dream today and got Tenet Tetra as a login reward.

If you mod the tenet exec for crit and slam combined with melee duplicate it overperforms.
so there is a way to get status on the exec slam waves btw, it involves lavos and some wonderful cheese

As for Sampotes, it's blasts can trigger status and crit, so with melee afflictions on lavos with valence buff, you can get upto 21 heat procs in a single heavy slam on a target😅
You can use melee vortex on the Tenet Livia instead of afflictions.

All the ones in S-Tier, absolutely, the others yes as well, although the Ferrox can reach absurd damage numbers. I don’t think any of them are D-Tier material.

Sampotes actually does apply weapon status effects, it's just the Exec that doesn't do status.
Sampotes problem is that its waves don't benefit from combo
for glaxion you GOTTA use the augment and use it with frost with his "passive" augment. then they both just ascend to their final form

Synergy not mentioned that makes the plinx absolutely S+++ tier (just like Mag+arca plasmor). Garuda with her Blood Forge augment. It instantly reloads the plinx. Alt fire spam for days. Hit 3, hit 4, shoot alt fire plinx and get massive aoe slash procs (the frame arcane Molt Reconstruct will heal garuda so bloodletting doesn't kill you).
It can go even harder by adding Zephyr airburst rounds augment and range/str to the build

If you want to go viral/heat for the glaxion, consider getting an _unleveled(!)_ cold+toxin riven. With this you can go heat as your progenitor and maximize the heat procs and minimize the viral procs. Otherwise just go magnetic as progenitor imo.

Honestly i dont find myself building into specific synergies most of the time since i want the weapons to be circuit and EDA ready so i think this is a good way of rating.

I hate the Tenet Ferrox rating, not because you're wrong, but because you're so right. Spearguns, at least the ones I've tried, are all just . . disappointing. It's a super cool weapon type, but they're just . . okay. Again, in my experience, which is mostly getting them randomly when playing through the circuit.
Though, the Tenet Ferrox might be pretty good paired with Styanax, given its high crit stats and Styanax's passive. Might be worth trying out if you didn't scrap the weapon yet

I was really hoping for a Tenet Dera to be added, as I really like the sound design of it. My wishes will not be granted, it seems.
With Tenet Exec, I can get heavy slams into the millions on 200+ lvl enemies (and yes on just the explosions too). I used it in my first EDA and did like 70% of the squad's damage. It is an INSANE weapon when built for crit/slam, and that's before I discovered Nira mods, which seem to stack multiplicatively with Seismic Wave.
Build: Sac Steel/Pressure, Galv Reflex/Elementalist, Gladiator Might, Organ Shatter, Seismic wave, Condi overload if you have an easy primer, otherwise Blood Rush for more red crit or maybe Primed Fever Strike (I took toxin valence but I'm not sure it's the best). Base 142.5% CC, 6.9x CD, 22% status.
On the Warframe I'm using Arcane Fury and Nira's Anguish+Hatred, but these are optional. I'm using Arcane Energize, but Avenger would push it even further. I only have one Tauforged crit shard for an additional 37.5% melee CC, but you could stack red/purple crit shards to get even more bonkers numbers.
Tenet Exec is S-tier, along with Sampotes (same gimmick but even bigger AoE).
