AMD 5600xt, r5 5600, settings @ 1440p: - Vulkan if you can - Dynamic resolution: On - RIS 30-50% in Radeon driver - FSR Balanced or Performance. Dopamine takes the wheel real quick. - Medium Textures, (more stable image, no loss in texture quality unless you play zoomed in) - Sharpening: 10-50% whatever you like - FPS limit: 80 - Target framerate: 80 - Lights: Medium - Dynamic culling Realistic for GPU and CPU and doesn't bounce around more than necessary. Is still smooth NVIDIA 3080Ti, 5800x3d, settings @ 1440p: - Vulkan if you can - Dynamic resolution: Off (headroom for CPU) - DLSS: Performance (headroom for GPU) - Textures: Whatever - Sharpening: 0-5% - FPS limit 80-100 - Target framerate 80-100 (only applies with Dynamic Scaling enabled) - Vsync: whatever isn't bugged or bugs you I target 100 fps on that setup as it's much smoother than 90 streamed over LAN, I'd use 80 or 90fps otherwise. Experiment with dynamic culling and light sources on most heavy action situations Dynamic resolution should be on if you can't get rid of GPU bottleneck, though it will introduce CPU load. Will never be perfect and workload scales with party size/difficulty
Oof, 4K is crazy 😅 but yeah, optimisation in PoE 2 is really horrid, worse than some console pc ports. I’m glad I at least managed to fix pc freezes and constant crashes, it was unplayable
i switched to xmp profile and neither windows nor bios could open, red led indicator DRAM was shining at my mobo. Reset cmos/taking battery off didnt work, switching ram, testing each did nothing. went to sleep, could not sleep all night cuz i was wondering how can i fix it. at the morning i just managed to get to the bios and everything works good. THE GAME OPTIMISATION IS TRASH, you can do shit about it. fps drops under 40 especially in end game r5 7500f rtx 4070s 2x16 ddr5 w11
I agree the optimisation of PoE 2 is absolutely horrid. I’m glad I improved it and most of all, got rid of crashes and PC freezes it caused, that was the worst.
To be honest, you stop paying attention to it real fast. I also thought the same when I started using FSR ( it is not blurry in other games so no idea what is happening with PoE ) but soon I forgot about it. In all the visual cluster fiesta I see nothing anyway so 😂
There is 0 fixes here lol GGG needs to fix their game and possibly microsoft get their crap together everything else you mentioned is basic stuff most people already do on their pc that have million youtube videos on "how to optimize pc".
And yet, someone might not have tried these and it will help them the same way it helped me ☺️ even if it helps just one person, it was worth spending my time on putting it together 💪🏻 But of course, GGG has to optimise their game, period.
And yet it’s not ☺ cpu usage improved by half, affinity fixed alt tabbing to other apps, PBO lowered temps by 20 degrees and improved clocks, people still forget to set XMP in bios for their RAM. Oh and if you watched the video, you know that I was playing on even lower settings and tried even setting the game to lower resolutions with no help ☺☺ Negativity like that never helped anyone ☺️ your comment is fake 😂
@@Lunatalli and yes it is alll these guides are fake nothing u do outside of the game will boost any preformance and its like 10-5 fps only lol and sometimes u dont gain anything and not every pc can enable xmp , i got sold a motherboard that doesnt run my ram on xmp2
they literally are tho due to bad optimisation :) probably in connection with 24h2 update, because people with worse machines on w10 report better performance. Check forums, people claim they are spiking with 4080S GPU etc

I have a ryzen 5800x woth a 3080, playong at 4k, constantly dropping from 90-110 fps to 20-30 fps during mapping (specially on breaches)
same but with a 4060, i see some streamers breaching with the same density and they aren't dropping any frames, must have NASA pc's i guess

I have a 7900gre 11600k desktop that gets horrible FPS. Some days ill get 100-130 in 3440, other days i get 50-60 with lows of 10. I dont get it.

Im using 7900xt. Put my core to 16. Run losescalling.. all good. The only problem is the game itself.
