-Admitting the prohibition of topics extend to all grades
-Refusal to protect LBGTQ students
-a general lack of knowledge of the issues the bill is prohibiting.
Point being, yes it does. Of course it doesn't say it directly, that's how they trick you, but that's what they will do with it.

The bill does go past the 3rd grade though. These vague word laws aint slick. But hey can they come up with a don't say U.S. Law as well. Teaching that thanksgiving (native geocide) or that the fore fathers were great men is actually child abuse.
He's not straightforward. The bill uses vague language. We already have rules protecting kids from age-inappropriate instruction, he made up a problem so he could add gay and trans people to the list. My kid has had two different classmates with two moms. This bill says that if a teacher were to say something as simple as "Some kids have a mom and a dad at home, and some kids have two moms." other parents could sue. It's messed up for the kid, and it's flat out bizarre that other parents would care, much less get upset about who's got two dads.

He even was turning a blind eye to the human rights violations China was committing just so he could get the Ambassador status added to his resume.
Chapek is getting a lot of flack for how things are being managed despite almost all of the problems originated from Iger. The Disney board brought in Chapek and asked him to save them money. Iger over spent and had lousy returns to those investments due to his decisions.

I like how the title says "claims". I guess we (republicans) should just be thankful they didn't take the post down due to "mis-information" I actually think the bill falls short. Administers / Teachers really shouldn't be talking about the sexuality to a 5 to 8 year old ON ANY ACCOUNT. This law should apply to all grades, not just K thru 3rd Grade. If I had a 5 or 8 year old and found out that an adult wanted to have a discussion about sex with them, while all my kid wants to do is pretend to be a dinosaur, well, I think I'd have to put a healthy beat down on that individual. I find it absolutely appalling. I don't care if schools paint the walls with rainbows and write gay all over it - don't have a discussion with my child about sex, or the orientation thereof. The Florida legislature has passed a parent’s right bill [House Bill 1557 [text pdf here] which says in part schools are prohibited from Pre-K to grade 3 classroom discussion involving gender identity: “prohibiting classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity in certain grade levels or in a specified manner.”
So grateful that schools are prohibited from doing something at grade levels that they arent doing it anyway. Kind of like CRT which is a college graduate level course but the propagandists have parents demanding it be stopped 😅

WHEN will we parents be allowed back into our childrens schools? If the kids are not old enough to have Sex Ed classes, then they shouldn't be taught about sexuality at all. Why in the world would we start educating our kids on sexuality before they even hit puberty and start to wonder about such things?

Love Governor Desantis. Love living in Florida. I was in 9th grade when I was taught the reproductive system. It is not appropriate for small children to learn that. That is your job as a parent (when your ready of course). Pre K- 3rd grade needs to learn how the critically think, spelling (words that they'll use in sociality), math, American history.
