Correct . Which helps to slow down water flow, especially during heavy downpour. Not good for slopes so this helps to reduce the risks of collapsing walls.
About 30 years ago we hiked in the Cameron Highlands, no real trails, it rained, we spent the day struggling up and sliding down, got covered in mud and had a fantastic time 😂
Heck yes, that sounds like a true adventure! As long as you have the right mindset, the mud & rain can just add to the experience. That's making us want to go back to Malaysia already 😁
Maybe you guys should try Fraser’s Hill, which is more rustic, alot less amenities around though compared to Cameron Highlands which continuously being developed for local, and foreign tourist. Which also means, the nature is more pristine. Food is not widely available especially for dinner, so if u can get some ingredients, and a hotpot/steamboat set somehow, it’s a great hot meal to have in the evening/at night. Fraser’s Hill is a place locals go to relax especially over the weekend, but there are some annual events like Birdwatching and cycling competition.
We planned to enter the birdwatching contest but we needed 3 people and at the time it was only the 2 of us. Looks like we need to come back to Malaysia again 🤷♂️😉
Hi! 👋 Being Canadian citizens, we get a 90-day visa on arrival in Malaysia. We definitely love Malaysia and are hoping to be back for a 3rd time next year! We’ve considered if we would ever relocate to Malaysia before, but I’m not sure we can handle the heat and humidity long-term 😅
You shouldn't go into the woods in malaysia, or be deep inside the woods, after 5pm. You know what happened to the last guy who went into the woods after 5pm? Btw, that's not some forbidden staircase or steps or stairway to heaven 🤦♂️ That's part of the drain that collects rainwater from the hilltop, and if it had suddenly started to pour cats and dogs, the gush of water would have thrown you down back to the road 10 metres below in 1 second flat, and while you laid flat on your back, luckily on the soft grassy muddy road shoulder, you would probably be thinking, dang I just solved one mystery! 🤪🤪
@@activityenthusiasts np. But I guess you didn't meet the guy who last got into the woods after 5. We still don't know what had happened and were hoping you guys had stumbled upon him in the woods

Those are not staircase but step drain which is used to drain water from down the slope
Thank you! We learn so much from the comments on these videos! 😅

Your guy’s are so neutral, because not so many UA-cams farts in their video
We thought it would be relatable since everyone farts 🤷♂️
