Awww...this video just only popped up....i was up in Cameron over last Merdeka weekend, sadly couldnt do the Parit Falls trek as it was still closed under MCO, likewise the Mossy Forest was not open too. i also stayed at the travellers bunker for one night. Always loving the 20°c weather in Cameron ✌️.

The 1st time we tried it was in Sarawak and we were told it’s called paku uban (spelling might be wrong), not entirely sure if this is the same fern joao found but it looks exactly like it. We tried it stirred fried with a hint of belacan and it was delicious.
So disgusting to see beautiful places filled with plastics thrown by irresponsible people...btw seeing u eating raw ferns remind me of yr stay at Kura-kura homestay last year...Fiona...😍

When I climbed cameron highlands I keep fainting and vomiting I had to wear extra socks at night cause of the coldness

Fern=pucuk paku. Pucuk is shoot or young leaves and paku is nail.

@@Travelgramers Any kind of fern is pucuk paku. The one you had probably the best quality which can be found only in Sabah or Sarawak.
