There was an accident in the middle of the song when the snare broke and sounded strange😅

My favorite rock band Rush- RIP Professor
Yes Ma'am!!!! Wish Neil were here to see and hear you.
Yoyoka ,never disappoints and. the whole band is tight. Peace
Thanks!
been a fan for quite a few years ... tonight I got to listen and watch Yoyoka play my jams :)
Some people may say that Yoyoka is like many legends combined into one drummer, but she is even better than that.
Agreed, she is a monumental talent.
like Shohei Ohtani
Listen to that Groove...Like nobody else. HAPPY..HAPPY..HAPPY.
Yoyoka, kick'n it.
From A to XYZ!
💕👍✌️🖖🎶
I feel so lucky to be one of the 70 people who saw this show. I was secretly hoping she would play YYZ; I was thrilled to hear it! Yoyoka super-fans know she is very particular about the sound of her snare. It was obvious that something was off, but she powered through it like a true professional 👍
Sooo jealous. Can't wait to get a chance to see her perform.
Yes.. that's the first thing I thought but it just could be the microphone but you were there so it's a very specific sound probably the most important instrument in your drum kit
Yoyoka is the quintessence of the drums, a pure delight to hear her play and lead groups masterfully.
It is almost like those guys even after all their practice with Rush could barely keep up with Yoyoka
@@davidmacphee3549 Without disrespecting these musicians, I believe that Yoyoka is just too strong for this kind of musician. But Yoyoka is very humble, she won't refuse to help other artists.
Wowowow! Yoyoka playing Rush and pounding it out! Her timing, flawless I love her more! More Yoyoka, More Yoyoka, More Yoyoka! Yaaaaayyy!!!
That was a pure delight.
YOYOKA greetings from Brazil
High level drumming as always!!! Yoyoka, keep in this path and your greatness will increase each and every day!!! ✊✊✊💥💥💥
One of my favorite drum covers by Yoyoka.
Another smashing performance.
Here I am watching again so cool to be there to see you play live with those musicians
Nicely Done! 🥁🎸🎸
Cool! Good stuff Yoyoka!!😎✌
I've heard many versions of this song from fans, this is is a great vision to the original! Great Job!
that was awesome!!!
I’d like to see Yoyoka play in Neil Piert’s drum kit, great video thank you for posting it
I hope some day they invite all the great drummers for a tribute to Neil, like they did for Buddy Rich. Obviously Yoyoka would be a shoo-in.
I saw on UA-cam there's a fellow that owns a set of those he had them on display and was letting people play them
That would be awesome 🤟🤟🤟
She doesn't like, and doesn't want all that extra kit. She sees it as superfluous. She obviously does not need it to play a great cover, although this particular one is dry and lifeless(like most of her live performances with other musicians and in front of an audience.)
@@gt1man931 yes I agree she doesn’t need a drum kit like Neil’s but it be nice to see her play on his drum kit though
if she starts getting into Neil's rig, they will need a bigger house !!
Amazing performance, Yoyoka! It's always a joy to watch you in action - WOW!!!
I have known this song since it came out... Heard it a thousand times and know every little note, and that was as tight as it gets. You guys nailed it! Some small bass differences for the personal touch... Awesome.
To Yoyoka and beyond!
Thank you so much Yoyoka, I asked for some Rush and you delivered might I say rather brilliantly, such a talented young lady. Keep rocking I'm sure Neil would have loved you 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Cheers Yoyoka!!!..... 🐱🐱😎👍👍
Woohoo 🙌
she is a true monster behind those drums, the bands not bad with her but the prof shows them in the room.
thanks guys m.
NO CAPS? Is this really Michael Irons?
@@byronbutterfield yes mt goggle in there infinite wisdom have changed my g mail to my phone set up so yeah its me.
cheers mt re your reply yeah some one said i was shouting to much with cap locks lol.
She is amazing as always. Play some other Rush tunes!
I was just about to say that.
awesome!
Excellent! I liked the slap interpretation.
She's the best. I went and looked for Rokko on G maps and to my shock and amazement, it had already been there...despite Yoyoka just now putting them on the map. Sorry..dad joke.
THAT WAS PHENOMENAL.
SOUNDED JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL
🥁 🥁 🔥👍🏻
That is Spot On Neil!!
A great live cover! You are rocking inspiring the world. Keep it up! Your bandmates are great too.
PERFECT!
Amazing! 🥁🎼🤩
Fan-flippin'-tastic!!!
E didn't even detect any change in the song, which is a major tribute to your professionalism lol. But also a tribute to the strength and confidence with which you're playing now. I hope we get to see much more of your gigs here 🙂
Before she nervously attacked the song and now she was more sure of herself.
nice -- thanks
Yoyokas technical is like a blanket.
Didn't mean to forget the other two great Maestros...my bad. Amazing players.
After that, You can play in any Band Yoyo ! 😘
Princess of Time !
Nice job Yoyoka! I used to play in two bands with Neil in our late teens.
この曲の COVER は3回目ですがベストプレイです。
That was awesome!
🤘🥁🥁👏👏
amazing!
I'm glad you're still playing that's one of my favorite songs nice to hear it was some new musicians complemented each other well
great job overall
Just discovered Yoyoka yesterday... I clicked on a few videos, and then thought, "She should cover Peart... maybe she already has!" I scrolled down the page, hoping to find one, but was very pleasantly surprised to find YYZ! That's not something just any drummer can pull off. Her name is going to be in so many lists of credits...
this is so fkn tight! Bay Area is spoiled having Yoyoka and her band there! They are so good.
You were in my home town?? AARGTH! Missed it.
💚ya Yoyoka✨
No one, I've ever seen, plays with the same focus and finesse as Neal Pert, but Yoyo-ka!!! But she does it effortlessly, like everything else and everyone else she plays... All rolled up into one!!! Just imagine if she had Neal's drum kit!!! At her age..., she really deserves a drum kit twice as nice!!! Easily!!! -Bravo!!!
YOYOKA is doing a lot of jazz at school, and the minimal kit seems to be her current preference.
You know you're good when you break the snare drum. 🙂
I bet it only took her an hour to learn this. Just phenomenal!
She's had this in her back pocket for a while now.
And it was one of longest to learn for her.
She said in an interview with ELLEN Alaverdyan and her father Hovak that this was her most difficult song. Who can tell?
I just noticed the kit! Not the 500 piece set that Neil used and she gets the same monster sound. Incredible!
こうやって細かいライブの場数を踏める環境に移ったのはとても良いですね。
演奏も楽しそうで、観ててとっても気持ちいです!
いつもありがとうございます!
Really nice job with YYZ. A challenging song for any musician and you guys did a really nice job. I am really noticing Yoyoka your own ideas coming through these latest songs you play. Particularly in a song like YYZ where the drummer had a massive set with all the toys and toms from the smallest to biggest which requires a certain amount of creativity on your part to translate that drum part on your kit. Really liking your ideas in all the songs you upload these days. Your personality in terms of your musical personality comes out more and more and your timing, taste and feel are excellent.
I am curious after this song if you ever think about expanding your drum set?

Hell yeah!!!!
Great team effort.
Band: What songs do you know?
Yoyoka: I know YYZ
Band: Oh hell no!
That was with a broken snare? Imagine what you could do with all your equipment in working order! My mind boggles.
🔥 😊
Going to play more Rush.. i think you better get more Tom Toms... but still sound awesome... Nice job YoYOKA
Well done. Good to see you out playing in the wild. Lucky customers that get to see you jam. Good work on the guitars too fellas. Did the snare break about the 1:29 mark? I see you looking at the snare like... what the.
大盛り上がり\(^o^)/
ライブの機会が増えているようで良かったですねー!!
Thank you all everybody !!! Thanks YOYOKA !!!
Givin that snare a beatdown
Count this as something I never thought I'd see, a Japanese prodigy kid girl drummer crushing Neal Peart/Rush....I don't know how she learns this, I have been listening to it for 40 years and can't follow it. Also great string players too. Good job!! Looking forward to Subdivisions!!!
Somebody please send this to Geddy and Alex stat!
This is HOT!
Awesomeness 🐰🥁🐰🥁🐰
My recommendation: "Lord of Light" from Iron Maiden. A very complex drum part. Perhaps you try play it. Nicko Mc Brain is 69 years old. But still an awesome drummer. He plays very varied.
I will see you during cherry blossom festival next month
I am known as a very articulate person. I write well. I have a minor in English. 😮 BUT these performances flabbergast me. Confidence and power. Notice she kept the beat with the sticks so the guitarist and bassist would come back in on time.
Yoyoka Sensei #yoyokadrums #Shido_Soma
The snare couldn't handle the power of Yoyoka. 😆😆😆
I was just in San Jose yesterday and will return next week. Can we know your performance schedule?
Can the young Jedi Warrioress cover the great Neil Peart? Ha Ha...yes, easily!
Drum or drum not. There is no try.
Interesting how yoyoka is really making an effort to slow the others down multiple times, even just with s single crash not or just by changing the dynamics of a bunch of notes inside a fill.
I wish I could spot things like that. lol. I'd like to know if she talks with them afterwards and says, hey man, slow down.
Are you a fan of Jimmy Chamberlin?I’d love to hear you play some Smashing Pumpkins songs. “Stand inside your love” seems like a fun and interesting song to play on the drums.
hello...i wish that someday you will cover "Pictures of Home by Deep Purple". 😊🤟..Keep drummin'!!
Can someone please help me out? My ears are not good (due to actually playing most of Lifeson's work in my youth)...but what does she say at the end? I heard "thank you so much" but what does she say after that? thanks for your input.
I think she's saying "I have trouble with....
Snare drum? Meet the Hokkaido hammer. ...😮
That's why it broke. Stressed out.
It's the second time she broke a hoop. And about a million sticks. Time to talk to Sandia National Laboratories about advanced materials for these components 😉
@@racebiketuner Fo-real!!!
Too bad that Neil Peart passed away! I'm sure that he would have had a grin from ear to ear watching Yoyoka play.
ナンでもコイ♪
I don't understand why the guitarist, who has a Floyd installed on their axe, doesn't just screw in the trem arm, and insteads want to hurt his fingers by lifting up the bridge from the bottom prickly side lol.
Okay, the panel is stumped... where did Yoyoka's snare break?
お父さんと同じ世代として
最終的には彼等の生き方を尊重してあげて欲しいけど。
BONZO,COZYの生き代わりだネ。(BONZOの息子はご健在?だっけ)
Yoyoka...add on a couple more toms!
Gonna need around 50 more pieces in your drum kit if you wanna play RUSH properly
Nothing against Neil here, but she's playing a four piece.
Stupi question is he a boy or a girl?
Gal😊
@@tootspogsforever5590 Yeah thanks. After i subscribed and watched more stuff from her i got it. She is so great.
Strings just can't keep up...
