Another amazing performance of a fantastic Rush song. YYZ is super challenging on drums and Yoyoka just eats it for lunch and comes back for seconds. She makes it look fun and easy (and this track is anything but). Great sound quality too! Thank you for posting.

@@jonnyshaw6176 You're right... About 2 years or so ago, she posted this cover. Nine years old. (Pardon me while I pick up my bottom jaw). Most drummers work on this piece for years.

She has been playing this since age 10 and nailing it .....so she has had at least 2 years to practice. That said, to play it live with a band and nail it is astounding.

I've been a Yoyoka fan since the Zep videos when she was 8 and she just keeps getting better.

Her crowds are usually very reserved.
I was thinking how odd it was that they were so muted, then remembered where she was playing. Japanese culture is much more reserved than we in the US

Sometimes I love the guitar lead. Sometimes I love the guitar bass. And sometimes I love the drums. Each one is capable of leading all entirely on their own. Sometimes each one is completely capable of doing absolutely nothing but themselves. Sometimes they lose each other in the mix. It’s still nice, but it’s not the same. Too many chefs spoil the soup. Some of my favourite videos of your talent are your improvisation playing. I’d love to see more of that
