There is so much I love about the design of the Ioniq 9. The pixel lights are cool. The profile is slick. The rear is sexy. The interior design is futuristic. I even love the green paint!
Perfect timing, my Wrangler 4xe lease ends next year, I'll be getting this car for family trips. I was considering an R1S but after watching a video where most body shops were asking for 40k+ to fix the rear quarter panel turned me off instantly.
The rounded shapes throughout the interior make it seem like home like and comfortable, while still being upscale. They did a great job. The exterior side view looks a bit clunky in my opinion, especially the back. Overall, I'm a fan. It's really cool looking.
@@jbk9913 I don't think the OP is criticizing the car. The back of the car really does remind me of my mom's old Volvo 850 wagon with the long vertical tail lights. Nothing wrong with mentioning that. This is, after all, the youtube comment section where you can pretty much express whatever opinion that you have.

It has 110 kW battery in a range supposedly around 335 miles. However, with daily driving, you don’t want to charge your battery above 80%, which means on daily driving you have arranged a 267 miles minus about 20 miles for air-conditioning use. Therefore it has a realistic range of just under 250 miles for daily driving.
Writing your own script, Shooting your own on-camera segments, and shooting your own in house B-Roll is HARD, BPU! Sometimes you gotta just roll with it and have some fun too.
For three row SUVs, manufactures may allow only average height American to review. The third row space looks cramped for Danger, but might be a lot comfortable for an average height person
I think it’s definitely doable in a pinch… but you’re right, average adults should fit back there just fine with some 2nd row space consideration. Being tall has its down sides… but way more positives than negative 😂🥳

NEVER EVER buy a Hyundai product or else you will be LEFT FOR DEAD just like me. I bought a brand new Santa Fe Hybrid Luxury in 2023 and my experience so far has been a nightmare to say the least. The vehicle has major safety issues (e.g.: vehicle failing to slow down/ stop on cruise control), providing photo & video evidence to prove the issue was not enough for Hyundai Canada to take immediate action and instead I have been left to battle this by sending it for a million diagnostics tests. Finally, I had no option but to take this matter for arbitration. The judgement is coming soon but it is shocking that a manufacturer (& Transport Canada) would allow this to happen. This could have easily become a criminal case if an accident would have occurred and then I would have been blamed for it when it is truly a technical snag. If you buy their product, your safety and that of the public will be at risk and Hyundai would only be silent spectators! SHAME ON HYUNDAI FOR PUTTING THE PUBLIC & CUSTOMERS AT RISK ONLY TO MAKE $$$, ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL!!

God All Mighty!!!! What happened to the Hyundai cosmetic designers. First the Santa Fe was hit by the ugly stick and now this rear end? It is u-g-l-y!!!! Previous generation they were on the correct path and I was expecting the current/new generation of vehicles to look even better. Man I was wrong. It's like the Yugo or the Volga of yesteryear after they pumped iron and took anabolic steroids.
Hyundai should have just kept design cues from Ioniq 5. It probably is the most beautiful Hyundai that Hyundai has ever made. As for this Ioniq 9, rear seems like wannabe Volvo wagon and front end looks like Citroen's front end from 6years ago. I'm sure the car would be nice, but, it is UGLY🤮

Hyundai has a big problem with designing the rear of their big SUV, they copied ford flex for the SANTA and now this rear end design looks like an old volvo suck a disappointment. To make matters worse the spy shots for the upcoming palisade the rear end looks like an old Range Rover Hyundai designers are better than this, come on guys.
Where is car confections to completely simp? Hyundai are garbage, that's why they still have an engine recall for most models and most years and the number keeps climbing.
