      This depends now on his opponents.
      The likes of Rune, Ruud, Tsitsipas have a ceiling below the required to deny the 30 GS to Nole.
      Daniil can beat Djokovic on hard surface but as proved, cannot do it consistently.
      Carlos is the real threat for the 30 GS landmark. He can beat Joker on clay and grass and probably on hard surfaces. But his way of playing (lots of energy consumption) and injuries (related or not to fatigue) are question marks.
      All in all, I believe that the GOAT can reach 26-27 GS, but the magic number of 30 is far away and in the hands and legs of Carlos-Daniil combination.

    Jason, great analysis. spot on. you mentioned a few things I didn’t think of. Just One tactic I also noticed that you didn’t mention that Novak did was go down the line a lot more than usual. I think he wanted to break the rhythm of Medvedev.

      I appreciate it. Part 1 of my 2023 Wimbledon analysis only has 2,300 views to date. Part 2 has about 1,100. It takes me 40-50 hours to do that type of analysis. These base level videos onky take me 4-7 hours or so to do and are getting significantly more views.
      Unfortunately, people just aren’t supporting the deep analysis content at the level necessary for it to survive in this channel. I still might do deep analysis of this final but from a standpoint of time versus reward, it’s not looking promising.

    • @TennisUnleashed
      @TennisUnleashed  9 місяців тому +1

      You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. He probably talked to his team about using the slice serve and how it would be an advantage because of how far back Medvedev stands to return. Medvedev standing so far back means the slice will stretch him very wide and leave the entire court open unless he hits it very well. Good X's and O's from team Djokovic.

    Daniil didn't good so well at the net when you take into account that he came back a lot to his starting position despite having the advantage in the point because he didn't know how to finish at the net. He really needs to return higher on second serve and to work on his volley and point finishing . There is no way around it if wanna be more successful against Djokovic and alcarez and has long career .
    Great analysis as always I miss the image commentary though.

      All great points. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I'm still debating on doing the "deep dive analysis" on this with the graphical analysis. It takes 40-50 hours for me to do it and I made about $7 for my 50 hours of work on Wimbledon 2023. So.....unfortunately due to a lack of views on those videos they haven't been worth the time to produce.

    Im just pointing out daniil fh.its been an unattakabke thing and is just sort of liability for him.only thing it helps in return out wide serve. It does not have proper pace.versatility.or consistentcy.dyring rally fh is very much important in attacking and setting up is bh.but its just doesnt work.u mean he needs to change his fh technique or otherwise it will cost him some slams.

    • @TennisUnleashed
      @TennisUnleashed  9 місяців тому +1

      Daniil definitely has technical limitations on his forehand. A lot of funds with players who play uniquely they resist change, I’m even if it’s the right thing to do. They just want to play in a natural way. My guess is that’s the case for Daniil.
