Great video as always. Picked up my RX100 Vii yesterday and loving it
I hope your channel gets more recognition ❣🙏 Your content are very informative and well created 👏
I use the included camera in most cases. Looking forward to your follow up review.
I always use the straps, especially if I'm carrying more than one camera with me, just makes it easier to alternate back and forth between them.
The best strap is the one from Peek Design... it’s super cool and useful! 😍
You can detach the camera, take a picture and then reattach it in a second!
Video looks great. Interested to see your take on this camera vs the A6400.
Yes. Particularly the autofocus speed (sony's strong point)
Nice quick video test at the end.
Please review the timelapse capabilities in the final review. Love your videos!
I use the neck/hand strap for safety so in case I drop the camera, it just swings from my neck or hand instead! You can also use a neck strap as a point of contact if you're shooting handheld, with the left hand under the lens and the right on the grip! Makes for some pretty stable shots, and is especially useful if you don't have a gimbal and/or your camera's stabilization is hot garbo!
People keep mentioning that to me, I should give that a shot here soon.
@@TheEverydayDad - Go for it!
I started using the long side straps, that only weight in the shoulder, I believe they are the best if you just carry the camera and a lens. But if you have your backpack on you, the peak design clip is the best option.
Nice, can't wait to see your deep review on this camera. Will the viltrox speedbooster works flawlessly in the m6 Mark ii?
Image quality looks fantastic.
looks awesome, rolling shutter was good, I want it.
Awesome video Sir. I would love to try this camera out. I don't use the camera straps either.
Thanks so much! Yeah I never really use them so its always fun to find out who does.
Strap&Wrap is quite a cool multifunctional camera strap that can wrap and protect a camera.
Another awesome video
Thanks so much!
Saludos desde Colombia, Great Channel men, really good info !
Thanks so much!
Looking forward for complete review. Try this camera with Viltrox speedbooster and some Canon full frame lenses, for example 50mm f/1.8.
Hi daddy! Awesome unboxing and initial impressions as expected from you!! Anyhow, can you do a comparison of Canon M6 mark 2 colors with the sony a6400? How does it perform in 4k?
I think the m6ii would be better for vlogging than the 90d. I've vlogged with the 80d and it gets heavy. I think when Sigma releases those primes for the efm mount that will drastically change the usability of the m6ii. I am tempted to buy the 90d and m6ii and use them together for matching shots in video.
I know this is the M6 video but what would you say the weather sealing is like on the RP? I found an article that says it's similar to the 6Dmk2. Either way I'm not taking it out on the rain unless I switch to a 1Dx or a 5Dmk4
Can you do a review on the Nikon A1000? I would love to see you do a video on that camera
Awesome! Whens the Gopro hero 8 vid coming?
Whenever its released and I can get my hands on it.
hello according to your experience which will have better image quality in the video? Canon M6 Markt II OR SONY RX100 M7? THANK YOU
I never used a strap with my SL2 but I have a tiny wrist strap for my new M50 (thanks to your review) just due to its tiny size!
great report yes do use the larger version canon straps
Great video!! Are you going to review the S1H?!
I might, I haven't decided on trying it out yet.
The Everyday Dad I want to see if they included the 4k Live Crop or maybe is a 6K Live Crop now!
Not bad. I'm considering one.
I have read the spec sheet of M6 MK2 before and it had mention it can output 10bit 422 with the Ninja V like the Xt-3. Hope that you can do a test to proof it in the next vid. Last but no least nice video
Looking to update my current M6 to this camera. The USB C charging is great for when I am traveling only have bring one charger.
Pretty darn Good!!!!!!
i got the peak design slide lite and i think it´s an awesome strap
In your opinion is the M6 mark ii with the price jump from the M50? I'm mostly going to be using camera for photographing volleyball games, some recording later on for potential scout tapes. Love your videos
Could you make a video of a comparison of Canon EF-M lenses ? Does it already exist ? Ty
Always use the neck strap great extra added stabilization
Use the peak design camera straps. Those are expensive but worth it
Bro.. I've been watching reviews of this camera for days... all the videos I've seen are crap and they are saying that 4k of this camera is soft. But when you put the 22 f2 and test the 4k.. I was blown away with the quality!!!! Now I'm thinking if this camera or xs10?.... What do you think is better in 4k out of the camera? I don't like to edit much in post or modify the colors... I want the out of the camera footage.
Which is Camera A you used to shoot this video.?
How does it compare to 90D, a6400 and others.?
Looks like my M6. I do like my 24fps but I don’t use it much. Can it be used with clean HDMI with AF? When I stream I can’t. Plus the 30 min shut off stucks.
Thank you for the information
But still I am confuse between 90D or M6 mark ii. Kindly give your valuable feedback
Which one you prefer for video, canon m6mkii or 90D?
There seems to be some distortion from the preamps? Or were you running the mic too hot?
If I currently use a T7i and I move to one of these is my current selection of lenses compatible? Thanks!
I guess my only question for the M6 Mark II is if the price is justified by the features and specs? Including color science, what other cameras and features should be considered at this price?
Great video haven’t been here in the comments for a while though.
Well thanks for swinging by today!
Thanks so much for doing this video! I recently bought this camera and use a Peak Design Leash as a strap although the Slide may be a better option for the D90. I felt this was more portable and price was better given it has almost same features as the 90d. I’m debating on whether to get the M lens in 22 or 32mm - any thoughts on that ? As I just spent on the camera I don’t wanna buy too many lenses. I do some vlogging and the occasional pictures when travelling as I resort to my phone for photos for more daily use - more convenient !! Another idea is Sony a6400 vs Canon M6 Mark II? Or 90D vsM6 Mark II - which to buy?
32mm = more bokeh
22mm = better for vlogging
Always use the strap. Is the M kit lens better than the APS-c kit lens supplied with the 90d?
it is better than people know, in my opinion and I have tested it against other lens.
Hey question brother I’m a canon user entry level for music video i like the sony a6400. Because all the fetures including 4k but I still like canon , do you think that this m6 mark 2 would work with my ronin sc ??? In terms of connectivity??
Would be nice to see a comparison between this camera and the Sony A6400. I dont know which one i want now 😂
I think cannon m6 mark 2 is the best option as compare to Sony a6400 because it has 32 MP sensor and 4k uncropped👌💓💓❤💙👍
@@openneweveryday7532 and 6400 dont even have digital 5 axis stabilization lol
The M6 is off to a good start!
Yeah so far its my favorite of the M cameras. I wish it was a little cheaper, but hopefully the M50 II (whenever it comes out) will kick it up even higher.
@@TheEverydayDad If I didn't use the EVF for flash photography I'd be sooooooooo tempted. But I'm safe this time😂
Do you ever shoot video using an evf?
when you at outdoor, do you use gimbal or handheld?
Can't wait for sigma EF-M lenses! Escpially the 16mm 1.4 version... !!
Those will change that whole system.
@@christopherpackart Hopefully they can keep the lenses light and small
I have never use a strap. But, I seldom go outside where it might be of some value?
I have the impression that the lens made a difference there as far as IQ goes. The 90D lens seamed a lot softer than this.
I use the Altura Wrist strap.
Is this competing against the a6400?
Yeah its a crop sensor mirrorless camera.
@@TheEverydayDad thanks. I'm still learning and your videos are a huge help. I bought the a6400 and then returned it because it was a bit overwhelming... But now I kinda regret returning it lol. Thinking maybe the mark 100 vii would be better for a noob, but $1,200??? Might as well get the better camera for less.
Then there's the mark 100 V which looks awesome, but no mic jack really makes that a tough buy... Ahhh so many choices.
Do you ever do personal consulting? 😂
Better buy the Sony !
@@EstebanVargasA :)
Hello sir can you try 11-22 lens in canon m6 mark 2
Looks sharper than the 90D
Peak design strap
Can you confirm if one could charge directly into the cam ? Thanks
I use blackrapid straps, the ones that come with the camera are usually small or poor quality.
I'll have to check those out, thanks for the suggestion!
Hey dad. Can you take a look at that skydio drone that just got announced. I know it won’t fall under the four pillars of action but genuinely think you’d be a good person to look at it
Maybe, I haven't renewed my drone license in a year or so and I think I'm out of tolerance, I'd have to renew that before checking out any of the new cool drones.
Maybe stupid question but can u touch screen to record know can for stills don’t like record button position worth upgrade from m50 ?use lens and camera straps but not often round my neck just have them on sometimes wrap round wrist but have some big lenses teh 32 mp and 25p pal seems good the way i see it sony for low light and slo mo canon the rest or more to that ?
Nice video! I actually, use the camera strap! I use it for some more, action based videos! (or I will, LOL) I have barely used it so far, though I have had the camera for a while! thanks for making these, great videos!
Nice, thanks for the comment!
@@TheEverydayDad youre welcome! Hey, I was wondering if I could ask you something. I make a different assortment of videos on my channel, they range from Vlogs, to videos where I sit down and talk to the camera! Is there any camera, with a price around 200 dollars, that you would recommend? Thanks! :)
@@lucascallahan7869 might as well use your phone. you wont find much worth buying
@@TrulyHaja thanks! This comment is pretty old, so now my budget isn't quite so limited. 😁
FYI: the new firmware will allow you to shoot in 24 fps
Waiting for the a6400 vs m6 video.
Me too
I love using neckstrap and sadly my YELLOW logo neckstrap will switch to RED logo neckstrap soon. Have been a Nikon shooter for the past 10 years. Nikon does not want to release mirrorless cameras for amateurs. And can't have that Z50 because of that flip down screen and their giant pricey lenses. So, CANON M series is the way to go now. They really healped a lot pf people to start photography/vlogging with their small body, reasonable price and small lenses. I am now seriously considering M6 mk II after waiting a long time for Nikon to announce a better alternative to Z50. I guess M6 mk II is better than M50 for its pro features and those great control dials. Great review, E.D., as always 😃
Try peak design straps
Which is the biltrate video in full HD?
Lets see a m50 vs m6 comparison...
imo canon m series should use rf mount by now. I would love to have a smaller secondary camera rather than carrying my eos r everywhere I go. 35mm rf f1.8 would be a nice all-around lens for this camera.
Yeah I wish Canon would simplify their lens strategy instead of having 4 active types of lenses.
Well that would make too much sense to do.
Sigh*
Gooood 👍👍👍
Thanks so much!
I'm just mindblown that this can do no crop 4K but they didn't put that in the EOS R...does Canon not want thousands of dollars from me? I wonder if they can firmware that stuff into the camera later on, better late than never if that was the case.
The reason it manages no crop is because it's only 2.8k upscaled to 4k and uses pixel binning.
@@KDHildreth True, but i'd still probably rather have that than the crop honestly. Still looks sharper, I don't deal with the zoom, and maybe less noise tho not sure. I'd even be happy with 1080p downsampled from 4K honestly, I just don't like raw 1080p anymore it doesn't keep up with the rest.
Funny thing you were saying about EVF, because I really hate filming through flipscreen. With my M50 i use the EVF all the time, it gives me better immersion in the frame, I can judge it better. I use tilt-screen only if I film at some strange angles. About things I'd like you to test is low light vs M50 and true resolution in 120 fps (I've heard it might be upscalled 720p, as 4k in this camera is upscalled 3K or something). Also I'm very interested in timelapses. With M50 you are limited to 1/30 or 1/25 shutter speed, which is too much to get some smooth timelapses of fast moving objects. If timelapse, low light and 120 fps are legit I'm switching from my M50!
SemperSky I’m hoping the m50 replacement gets all these fixes. Just did a few time lapses here on Guam myself (IG @rafofalltrades)
I wish the 4K TL didn’t crop either 🙄
Auto forcus speed for canon m6 mark ii (or) sony a6400 ? Please help
Sony has better AF
Do the m200!
This looks better than your A cam :) I prefer how M6 II video looks :D your main camera has too flat profile for my taste.
Peak Design SL-BK-3 Slide Camera Strap
I’d sell that kit lens... and get the 22mm
Cool
Thanks!
Keep up the good work and can you do a video about budget camera for beginning content creators
Types of people.
1st uses neck strap
2nd uses wrist strap
.
.
Me uses neck strap as Wrist strap
😜
I use the strap around my wrist so I never drop it. Its become second nature for me.
If you always wear hats (which you kind of do) clip the mic under your hat. Shadow will keep it semi hidden
Turning your head won’t be an issue.
Bam. You’re welcome
Clip the receiver on the cable plugged into the mic input.
Bam.
M55 or M60 better be a beast!
They should’ve done away with the m100/200 series what a waste of resources.
M50
M6 II
SL2
7D iii (90d should’ve been the 7d replacement)
EOS RP
EOS R
5DM3
1DX
That should be the canon series.
Cool review. Wouldn’t it be cool if when flipped up it could slide and lock a bit higher? Would’ve been dope.
Still won't change from the M50. The flip-up screen is very lame, the detachable EVF looks elegant on first glance, but try taking photos with an external flash using the EVF :D The kit lens is a very good one, crazy sharp, lightweight and has the most silent AF system.
what do you think about the new fuji 16-80 f4?
I haven't used it so couldn't really say.
5:11 😂😂
You I will cut the video for charging battery
Ad appears
I think, Canon have more beautiful color...
Yeah I think their cameras do a pretty good job for what you get.
Vs the a6400
There's only 1 type of person who uses the strap. People who have just recently got into photography and literally bought their camera recently. 😂😂😂
2:00 well i never use a camera before 😅
I definitely wouldn’t say that the 15-45 is a bad lens, esp for a kit lens. I’ve found it to be a great kit lens.
Also, I like the Peak Design quick-release straps.
The indoor footage with the 22mm lens looks so much better, than the outdoor footage with the crappy 15-45 kit lens.
From my own experiance with the M6 Mark II, you should avoid the kit lens if you're interested in image or video quality.
Does this have clean hdmi?
Yes it does
4k doesnt crop on that
I never use straps
Is it's quality better than the 90d?
It should be very similar since they both use the same processor and sensor.
Hand Made Paracord hand Strap.
Привет из России ! Hello from Russia ! I noticed that your face looks more pleasant from your main camera (Panasonic gh5 ?) then from the M6 MK II. Do you think you could get the same look from the M6 MK II ?
