This crossing shad halogen warning lights (wigwags) in operation which is rare. One of the alarms at this crossing keeps skipping and one of the lights has become hidden around the bend by overgrown shrubbery. This crossing is located just outside Pulborough in West Sussex.

I loved the traditional halogen lights. They're hard to find today, so this is certainly a great catch!

Thank you 😁 Unfortunately these lights were replaced with LED sets in 2021 (I filmed this video in 2019). There's not many crossings left with halogens which is a shame. A few can still be found on heritage railways, but as for the mainline crossings, there's very little left.

@SpainTrafficLights I've been to Belgium very recently and they seem to retain Halogen lights on all of their crossings, it's quite weird.

Thanks 😁 Unfortunately, this crossing had its halogens removed in 2021, so it has had LED lights for around 2 years now. Thankfully I filmed here several times in 2019 and 2020 before that point so hence the old video with the halogens.
