Instead of sinning elena for changing her character when she had a good reason for changing(she literally almost died in uncharted 2 I dont think she wants to experience more grenade injuries) you should sin that Elena is supposed to be a normal person who lived a normal life and she is so willing to stay on an island full of monsters and armed pirates for treasure
12:13 In the 4th game, isn't Elena the one who suggest Nate should take the Malaysia job, the one Nate turned down because of the lack of permits? Then he literally had to be convinced that his long lost brother's life was at stake to agree to a treasure hunt. Scully even tells Nate to give Elena more credit when he decides to lie to her, and I interpreted it as her being angry about the lying rather than the fact that he went treasure hunting again. I mean I get that Nate obviously loves and misses hunting for treasure but I've always thought of Elena as more of the go-getter between them tbh.
Yeah, considering they have to play through an entire game, record everything, then edit it. It would be amazing if one could come out even every month or so.
Nice observation on Elena and Nathan switching between being rational and dangerous in the sequels. I haven't played this game in a long time until this week so I forgot how Elena acts in this game.
Also, Nathan is super confident and cocky during the whole game but *then* suddenly for no reason he wants to give up and needs Elena to convince him otherwise.
"Fuck this part". Brilliantly said! There is absolutely no way to make that look elegant, you just want to survive and not die for the 50th time. But no matter how many sins it racks up, or how badly it butchered history, I still enjoyed playing it immensely. It remains one of my favourite series.
You forgot to mention how did Elena recover Nathan's ring, he left it on the corpse of Francis and then Elena went up and stayed there the whole time while Nathan and Eddy fought the zombies, then Nathan climbed the rope and they ran off.
"Deus Ex Amica Ignis", if you ignore the poor grammar, roughly translates to "God of Lighting Your Friends On Fire". Somehow I don't think that's what you were going for. "Mors Amice Ex Nihilo", while not much better in the grammatical department, is probably more of what you're going for.

@12:12 I wouldn't say that Elena being the more cautious one in the sequels is a 180... Having just witnessed the ease with which they've managed to escape Eddie's goons, as well as Eddie's clumsiness when Nate snatched the map from him, she has every reason to believe that the situation is manageable. She has never met any of them(the bad guys) before, and going off of this she rightly believes that her and Nate can take them. Compare this to Uncharted 2, where by the time Nate runs into her she has already been doing her research on Lazarevic and is fully aware of what he is capable of. Uncharted 3, Elena seems to have been told of Marlowe by Nate, and he likely informed her of how powerful she is.
Also, Nate wanting to give up midway through the game is somewhat of a recurring theme in the series. Amy Hennig has stated in the BTS videos that whenever Nate starts to see that things are getting a bit too much for him to handle, he walks away from the situation (This includes romantic relationships) Nate also quit halfway through Uncharted 2, and again it was Elena who convinced him to continue due to the threat that the Cintamanni stone posed(Schafer had probably explained it to her)

Wait a minute. One more sin. When Roman shots at Sully. It supuse that all that was a fake scene. That means that he sould to use fake bullets but he actualy shoots a real bullet to sully in the chest instead. Perhaps roman kew that that little book can stop a .38 bullet? Realy Naugthy Dog? By the way men, you're awesome i suscribe to your channel this week.
Think about it, when Roman shoots at sully outside of the submarine, it supouse that that scene was planned by both if them. Roman should he should have use fake ammunition in his .38 caliber revolver but he didn't. How is possible that Roman risk the Sully's life shooting in the chest. Frst, How is possible that Roman knew that sully hide the Drake's Diary in his left pocket. Second, how is possible that roman knew that that thin Diary could stop a .38 amunition. That's make's no sense.
i normally hate CinemaSins knockoffs but i have to give it to you buddy, you do your homework, even in areas that i don't think CS's Jeremy would bother investigating (and he's quite meticulous himself). for instance, i would never think to look up the volume of gold. double props for doing this with games that are a tad more difficult to spot inconsistencies in than movies. you do miss a few things though, such as Elena recovering the ring even though there is no way in hell she could have done it while they were in the zombie-infested tomb. the game's still awesome though
Just like to reiterate. Thats STILL possible, potenitally even something with sam, or sam nate AND sully. A way to explain why those 2 aint as good friends as sully and nate.
9:40 there was actually a comic with uncharted 2 that shows the prior before this adventure in which nate almost banged eddy's sister ~ also also, yes nate was basically broken, that's why they needed elena's producers to fund this lil expedition which, if you compare to the later games, made a lot more sense as all they actually needed was to rent a boat basically
No wonder why WatchMojo proclaimed this game as one of the "Top 10 Games That Aren't As Good As We Remember Them". It's not a bad game, it just didn't age well.
They Temple in the Amazon is not on Ecuador. It is in Peru. Coordinates state that they are nearby the Napo River, in the Loreto region. Ecuador wished that location to be theirs, but that dream shattered in 1941 and became broken in 1998.
As it was on PS3 initially, it absolutely was I can't imagine how painful this would have been if the other 3 games released on PS Vita as well like Golden Abyss
Here's a sin you missed out on. Francis Drake's last letter ends with "I commend my soul to god. May he have mercy on this unholy place". Why would god have MERCY on an UNHOLY place? I would have rephrased it to "May he have mercy on WHOEVER STUMBLES INTO this unholy place".

I seriously have no idea that there will be wendigo "until dawn" monsters in the latter chapters of this game ahaha. :D This game has a lot of flaws but I love it. You're a great UA-camr for doing this.
thank you for making this! I remember asking you awhile ago and you came through. Thanks Dartigan
If that bullshit on the jetski was toned down, they didn't do a good enough job.
Uncharted 4 was really good though
My favorite game by far
It was ok
11:55 Anyone else notice that Nate’s belt buckle is Avery’s sigil??
Holy crap, now I did. I wonder if they did that on purpose..
No it isn't , The skull isn't facing sideways and there are no bones these are swords
i normally hate CinemaSins knockoffs but i have to give it to you buddy, you do your homework, even in areas that i don't think CS's Jeremy would bother investigating (and he's quite meticulous himself). for instance, i would never think to look up the volume of gold. double props for doing this with games that are a tad more difficult to spot inconsistencies in than movies. you do miss a few things though, such as Elena recovering the ring even though there is no way in hell she could have done it while they were in the zombie-infested tomb.
the game's still awesome though
I hate CinemaSins kncokoffs too. but Dartigan is the only one I like.
I love uncharted 2 but...man asura's wrath is asura's wrath.
That British being British thing is true, I forgot Romans name and kept calling him "White Haired British Guy"
14:19 I agree, not only did I play the ps3 version of the game, I did it through PS Now, so yeah fuck this part.
elena is acctually recording in standard play mode i know that because it said "sp" on the recording
As a fan of the Uncharted series I say thank you, thank you in particular!
Also my vote is for Uncharted 2 Among Thieves!
at 11:03 the guy makes a gun from mid air
No he didn't, if you're talking about Eddy
oh i didn't see that gun before
2:55 uncharted 4 will be the CHRONOLOGICALLY last game, meaning, that can still happen.
Just like to reiterate.
Thats STILL possible, potenitally even something with sam, or sam nate AND sully.
A way to explain why those 2 aint as good friends as sully and nate.
ok, one word for sins 26-28. You ready? SPANIARDS
9:40 there was actually a comic with uncharted 2 that shows the prior before this adventure in which nate almost banged eddy's sister ~
also also, yes nate was basically broken, that's why they needed elena's producers to fund this lil expedition which, if you compare to the later games, made a lot more sense as all they actually needed was to rent a boat basically
Dartigan's voice > CinemaSins's voice
No wonder why WatchMojo proclaimed this game as one of the "Top 10 Games That Aren't As Good As We Remember Them". It's not a bad game, it just didn't age well.
In chapter 10 Nate could have jumped in the water and swim to the diggy instead of going the hard way +1 sin
In case you didn't know, the jet ski levels and the barrels are a reference to the Coco levels in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped
I was really expecting a "NO YOU FOOL" in this video but its okay I guess
They Temple in the Amazon is not on Ecuador. It is in Peru. Coordinates state that they are nearby the Napo River, in the Loreto region. They even talk about their time in Lima, which would be a natural hub to reach that far (Lima-Iquitos and down by the Amazon river).
Ecuador wished that location to be theirs, but that dream shattered in 1941 and became broken in 1998.
the "something nasty happened to these guys. there's blood everywhere!" quote was intended to scare sully
1:41 Nate also said they don't take prisoners, yet later on, he ends up being taken prisoner by the same pirates for his help in finding the treasure.
14:17 was that part even worse on og?
As it was on PS3 initially, it absolutely was
I can't imagine how painful this would have been if the other 3 games released on PS Vita as well like Golden Abyss
12:23 I have a camera just like this and it uses tape so the counter is showing how many time there’s left until the tape ends
8:30 my favorite sin across the entire Uncharted series.
If it's unholy, he'd want to destroy it and, being a man of faith, Francis Drake is hoping that he can forgive the sins of the island.
It's nice to have a sins channel that doesnt still give a sin when they something good or the game actually does the thing.
I have two extra sins.
1. 15:57 In chapter 16, how are the torches and candles still burning?
2. 17:32 Suddenly I'm getting Raiders of the Lost Ark flashbacks.
15:00 He should have said "archaic Spanish". Languages change a lot in five centuries, and anyone would have trouble translating texts from that time period regardless of whether they speak the current language of not. Still a sin, but it could have made sense if they just inserted one more word.
Yeah look at how people struggle to read Shakespeare. You might be able to get the meaning of 50% of what's written and this isn't even Victor's native language.
0:37 who knew you'd say that exact sane thing about his hair for the exact same reason in the UC4 Game Sins
"That sounds dirty" is the 69th sin.
That is coordination.
oh I'm sure Indiana Jones is pretty high up there as well on the list of people trampling all over important archeological findings
Well, I must say, it really felt like he was reaching to find problems with Uncharted! lol
(BTW one of my favorite game series of all time!)
this game is dreadful though. terrible full story, bad characters, horrible shooting mechanics, and doesn't even have the flashy (although shadow) setpieces that the later games have
You guys say the el dorado statue should weigh over 50 thousand tons i will yield on the size but the weight? unless i remember incorrectly the statue is hollow and opens so it should not weigh over 50 thousand tons and the video shows the statue open as well
Not 50.000 tons. 50 Tons.
whichever one you want mate! your videos are doing great
Those chutes are actually "Para Gliders", you can land a few miles away from where you jumped out.
9:42, Nathan got to know Eddy in Uncharted: Eye of Indra
I went to fullscreen mode several times trying to vote fore Asura's Wrath.Where are those clickable annotations?
1:29 is that for real one of the sins
So why does he sin the „until dawn flashback“ even though Uncharted was released 8 years before until dawn was released?
I still love this game series! I just started The Lost Legacy.
