Pretty sure that was a blessing in disguise. It got everyone on her side, and even though she's kinda underrated still, the one's who follow her realises how amazing she is.
She plays around a lot and seem so shy and humble when it comes to showing what she can do unless she's into the song and locked in, just singing how she wants to sing it. But I have seen her joke around say when it comes to some low notes she does it jokingly so it doesn't sound "right" and artists singing with her well laugh along. But singing her sing Halo seriously, her gospel music etc she can do really low notes perfectly fine she just is kind of shy and definitely not a show-off. I'm pretty sure no one has truly seen or heard everything that she can do maybe even herself. Like there's this one time she shocked herself singing a super high note on a youtuber's channel.
