I think Avril Lavigne was most popular before I was born (I was born in 2004) but I loved her music from when I was like 5 until I was 10. I actually heard about YUNGBLUD for the first time when I was listening to Avril Lavigne on Spotify again and Spotify recommended YUNGBLUD. Since then I was wishing them to sing together and it happened. I can't be happier 😁
She hit those high notes at the end like it was nothing. They were free and resonant. Even her face was relaxed as she was singing them. Her tongue stayed nice and relaxed too which is usually the first thing to fly to the roof of the mouth when someone is straining. This is in the original key too. Super impressive. I honestly think she sounds better now than she used to. She's gotten more depth in her voice now than she used to have.

What they meant is that, as a recording/touring artist, it takes a toll on your vocal cords. You get old, and so does your tool as a singer, so obviously your voice is bound to change. She's got very great technique and control now, she sounds truely great.

I love this performance, possibly the best I have heard Avril live, no auto tune, looking amazing and smashing the vocals. The slight crack in her voice in the bridge was beautiful and raw and REAL. She has always had beautiful tone but not always great control. But as a true artist Avril has worked hard. What a stunning performance and Yungblud was amazing and he gave Avril tons of space.

avril nailed and carried this performance. yungblud has some interesting studio stuff, when sound engineers tweak and add interesting effects over his performance, but his live vocals are below average singer - to sum up , no they harmony isnt amazing, avril did amazing job here and this performace would be even better if yungblud wasn't here

I actually heard about YUNGBLUD for the first time when I was listening to Avril Lavigne on Spotify again and Spotify recommended YUNGBLUD. Since then I was wishing them to sing together and it happened. I can't be happier 😁

She hit those high notes at the end like it was nothing. They were free and resonant. Even her face was relaxed as she was singing them. Her tongue stayed nice and relaxed too which is usually the first thing to fly to the roof of the mouth when someone is straining. This is in the original key too. Super impressive. I honestly think she sounds better now than she used to. She's gotten more depth in her voice now than she used to have.
That's just pure talent. No autotune needed. She was flawless. And I agree she's getting better and stronger with age. So much control.

This was honestly the highlight of the show for me. Dom and Avril were so in sync with each other and their voices sounded HEAVENLY together. Those bits at the end with them harmonizing were out of this world

I love this performance, possibly the best I have heard Avril live, no auto tune, looking amazing and smashing the vocals. The slight crack in her voice in the bridge was beautiful and raw and REAL. She has always had beautiful tone but not always great control. But as a true artist Avril has worked hard. What a stunning performance and Yungblud was amazing and he gave Avril tons of space.
I agree, this was her song and Yungblud was just super happy to be there and he was really thoughtful about when to join in and lift her up, he was likely a huge fan like the rest of us. I think this is just perfect

avril nailed and carried this performance. yungblud has some interesting studio stuff, when sound engineers tweak and add interesting effects over his performance, but his live vocals are below average singer - to sum up , no they harmony isnt amazing, avril did amazing job here and this performace would be even better if yungblud wasn't here

She was the first gig I ever went to and it was a magical night I’ll never forget. All these years later me & my son fell head over heals with Dom’s music and I’m taking him to see him in September, he’s just turned 13 and has a hard time expressing himself but music has been an outlet for him.
