- Here's a great tutorial on making a Laptop Bag! It zips on the top and has a pocket on one side. More videos will come soon on customizing this bag- adding tooled accents, piping and interior pockets.
You can purchase a digital pattern of this bag for you to print at home at the following link:

In other news, I actually had to edit this video because I made a huge boo boo and completed the bag without the big pocket on the side. Woops. If you follow along the video though, you will not see the error and everything will be fine. - Навчання та стиль
Thank you for keeping it real. We all have missed pieces in the process. Great video.
I'm so excited for this pattern that I can't wait for the deluxe version video. Thankfully I have some other leather that I can use to make this and save the nice leather that I got from you all for the second version.
Another excellent video and kudos for keeping it honest. I look forward to seeing the process with piping. Haven’t tried that yet on any of my projects.
I can’t wait to make one of these.
I enjoyed the video and I look forward to the next video on lining this. I came from sewing and have worked with zippers for many years, two things that can help a lot with this type of metal zippers are a zipper jig and zipper lube that look like a crayon . CS Osborn sells the zipper jig and the lube can be purchased at sewing supply places like wawak.
Excited to see this.
I see that piece of kodiak leather you got there. 👀 I love working with Kodial leather. It's an addiction.🤠
I like how you edited the video and made it like the kungfu movies with English dub over! ;)
It's a beautiful bag
I am learned & took two themes of working with leather on a sewing machine in this project.
Great bag work with leather color character! Thanks a lot from FRA (near the 3. Lookdown)! And I"m a happy&lucky LOXX owner now, by the way! (only tech.feedb.:video to audio has a 2sec. delay)
As usual, an other great project, I will purchase this one as now you are offering a PDF version. I’m the fist one to comment...lol
Hi Aaron, I was just curious if you are planning on doing another video on the lining and piping for this bag anytime in the near future? My son is wanting a crocodile embossed leather bag but it will need lined to get the correct weight needed and I'm not sure what type and weight of leather to use for the lining and what pattern pieces to line for sure, any help you could give me on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much
When are you making n laptop leather with lining. Please. I am for south africa. Love your work
Will the more elaborate build video be posted soon?
Where do yall source the blue acrylic for your templates, yalls come out so good on that.
Every major city has plastic supply companies. We order 240 sheets at a time
is it possible to make bags by hand sewing. could you do a video of hand sewing a bag?
I hand sew bags similar to this quite often, it does require more patience and time.
It’s potable Aaron even said it can be done.heck I’m doing it . I did a shaving kit 1st same principles as his bag.it’s just all trial and error.start small work your way up . You can do it. Good luck with your project.👍
Parts are cut out, skived and ready to sew. Just can't figure out how to line it.
Aaron, can you tell me what size laptop will fit in these bag’s? I’m trying to decide whether to buy this pattern or the soft sided briefcase, I have the commissioners bag already. Any advice on which one of these bag’s would work best for a business man? Wanting to make my son something special for Christmas. Thank you so much for your help and advice, appreciate it. You and your family have a Merry Christmas
I have a pretty good size laptop and it fits all of them. My favorite of them is the comissioners bag.
@@makersleathersupply1220, thank you for letting me know. I bought some nice soft crocodile cowhide that I think 3 to 4 ounce so do you think that this would work for any of these bags if not, what kind of leather would you line it with and what weight? Thanks again for your help
@@tammyaltic2254 it can work for any of them, but I'd line it with something softer and thinner to make it a bit more rigid.
@@makersleathersupply1220 thank you very much for your help
Have you made second video yet? I’m not finding if you have.
Unfortunately I never made one.
What is the seam allowance for this bag, just want to make sure I’m using the same seam allowance through out the construction? Thank you
About 3/8"
@@makersleathersupply1220Thank you for letting me know appreciate it.
Bummed I couldn’t find the odd lot sale last weekend. I didn’t see it on facebook or here. What am I missing?
Not sure. It was on Facebook yesterday.
@@makersleathersupply1220 I don’t know what happened. I kept going to the page yesterday.
Late to this video, but what size thread and needle are you using?
138 and 20
How do I get the measurements used for the different components
Hi there! The easiest way is to get the pattern. makersleathersupply.com/search?q=Laptop
For months now NO ONE has the 1 1/2 english point in stock
I have about a dozen of them on backorder with C.S. Osborn. We've been waiting for a while.
Weaver Leather Supply has the 1 1/2" in stock!
Disappointed in this. Didn’t know I needed a sewing machine.
You don't have to be disappointed and you don't need a sewing machine.
