Following Drew around for a day really had its advantages but also an eye opener. These guys hustle. Heaps of calls all day long, hours that are never set in stone and many a stressful day. A day in the life of a yacht broker may need to be another video in future as every day is different with these guys, except one thing! EVERY DAY HAS YACHTS IN IT. - Розваги
What a gorgeous yacht. I wish I could have a 58' yacht for my FIRST boat!! Hahaha
Always look forward to your videos Jared! Great editing too!
Great work as always !!
i fall in love wit this channel more and more every time i watch
love your vids man
Your video's are great mate, keep it up
Great vid. Great Guys. Very informative and fun. 😎
So proud. My Boys. 🙏😎
Love the videos keep it up Jared 👌🏽. I think that u should do a hide and seek game on the yacht 🛥
Beautiful Boat and great video. We all love our boats!
Hey Jared,
I would really like to know more about boat brokers, could you please make a follow-up video of the actual selling process that Drew takes?
About time I was starting to have Jared withdrawals
I live in Newcastle, what are the chances. I could have shown you around
Love your channel btw, cant stop watching it!!
Very nice looking yacht...It is cold here in Chicago, IL USA...So see good looking yachts are very cool...This reminds me of summer...Thank you...Continue success in brokering sales of good looking nice...
Hi Jared,
Glad to see I’m not the only one buying a 58ft. for my first boat. lol
I’m heading to Miami for the yacht show in a couple of weeks. Last chance for me to find things I can’t live without on my boat. lol
Hope you and Becca are doing well. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
Paul
Keep it up!
That alarm!!😂😂😂😂😂
You could explain more about the trip, show charts, etc.
So do you not work as a crew member?
Or are we just seeing how drew works
And you still work for the crew?
Jared, fantastic video as always! Your Brother is an awesome broker making a delivery on a purchase of a boat. Wow, that is unheard of here in the US! Maybe he can give lessons. Lol
This was an awesome vid . Brokers Here in the U.S normally try to steer clear of making the delivery themselves with out a Hired Capt. on board as the liability is enormous. Marine max is Here in the states as well and as I understand carry the same amazing standard of service everywhere they fly there flag so to speak....I My self am with Waylenbay yacht sale which has its roots down under as well ;) ..
Hey, I’d like to work on a yacht, but I don’t have time to apply for jobs in mid-summer.. is it still possible to get jobs at the end of summer/ beginning of fall? And how long does it usually take until you get your first permanent job? (I’m new in the business so I only have my STCW, a german power boat license and some water sport experience..)
what a gorgeous boat only if i had enough money to afford it recently bought a 40ft aluminum houseboat for $5500 that need a lot of work
Hey Jared, by any chance are you coming by the Central Coast?
First Bro!
Oh yeah yeah
Great video I’d throw my brother over board off coast tbh (accidents happen)
Great video mate really interesting to see the other side of the business. How does the commissions work and is there a finders fee etc?
% varies and each country is different from what Iv seen. Usually 4-6% and then 50% to company and 50% to agent. If more than one agent is involved, another split occurs
Hey man, just came across your videos and loving them! Do you ever have any sketchy moments when taking your drone off from the boat as far as mag interference or messed up signal? Do you ever take off while boat is moving or always while boat is stopped? I've had some less than perfect experiences when flying a drone from a boat. Thanks man, keep it up!
Nice to see you featuring a quality boat instead of that Italian junk!
That alarm sound 😬
If your first boat is 58 feet then he is probably going need a skipper. I don't see him knowing how dock it or maintain it.
what sort of commission does the broker take? I would think this is the type of job people think is easy, but I can't imagine how hard it actually is (as an insurance broker myself) there is probably soo many details that go on behind the scenes to put a deal together.
Z RAY Definitely interesting to see how it’s like behind the scenes!! I am an insurance agent/underwriter myself in Antigua (Caribbean Island) and I also assist insurance brokers all the time !
3-5%
@@LachlanMurnaghan123 try 6-10%...
Cameron McKeon 10% on that boat, wow, 250k
@@bennett7200 I’m not too sure that Drew takes all of that. The company he works for will take 10% and he will get a smaller share of that 10%
With only 1 crew member, how much stuff would that person be responsible for?
Damn it. You beat me.
Rip
Just curious, do Australians notice your South African accent or do you kind of blend in?
They 100% notice it
Stick out like dogs balls over here
almost 40k
@00:18 Looks like this was flying a drone over people? Not allowed in Australia. Nice intro but.
The “people” was my brother, with permission and 30 m away give or take. I try my best to adhere to the rules 😁
bluejay313 laws state densely populated areas and 30m
This video really really inspired. I decided to go out of my comfort zone an start a UA-cam channel. I just uploaded my first A DAY IN THE LIFE video. An I would really love the support. Thanks for everything Jared
Definitely not big enough to be a yacht imo
That chick hurts my ears. 🤣
very inspiring video, thanks a lot! 👋
