And it includes masturbation, looking at sexual images in movies and shows etc. My issue is that people focus on same-sex but forget their own transgressions. We're here on earth because we're ALL guilty of sexual sin. If we weren't we wouldn't be here.
Wait actually that makes no sense... so god made Earth so that we can all be here because we all have sinned... excuse me but I had nothing to do with the Adam and Eve situation. Jesus never mentioned the color of ones skin either. He meditated with monks and he stood up for a prostitute. He was/ is perfect. All loving and understanding as we all should be. I grew up in the town that was labeled happiest place on earth, the town that started the reform church, the town that gave rise to the slogan "what would Jesus do?". I'm gay, I struggled with faith for many years but when it came to me, I realized how dearly blessed I truly was to be placed where God had put me. I grew up in a family that was perfect one minute and with a snap of a finger all hell broke loose. I was driven away from my connection with god. I was angry at thinking "if God were real why would he have done this to me and my family?". But through prayers I was given another chance and I'm not letting this go. Jesus is your best friend and he wants nothing but the best for you and he will always forgive you so long as you ask for it sincerely. Please trust me. I know it all sounds nuts but there is so much power and liberation to having faith in God. It frees you from so much weight. It will never be a free ride and your faith will always be attacked but once you accept him, you have a foundation you never knew was there before and a safety net that you can always rely on. God bless everyone.
Jesus said the path is STRAIGHT and the gate narrow. Did he have to draw a pic. He said love God and that means obedience even if you crave flesh, you are supposed. To deny your flesh.few will enter bc we live for feelings and desires of the flesh.
Sexual orientation is not a sin. But having a sexual life out of the natural way that God inteded is a sin. I'm an heterosexual. I love women. If I obeyed to my corrupted nature, I would fuck any woman and it would be very destructive. But I say no. I'm married, I love my wife and I made a covenant to love her. Sin is often a matter of behavior. God's ethics and the fallen humanity ethics are opposed. Paul wrote that the world and God are at war.
Even Jesus told us to obey the commandments which is our guide. Jesus did lead by example by showing man the fruits of the spirit. But the fruits of the spirt should not be confused with immoral acts because the bible did condemn Sodom and Gommorah and never ever mentioned giving permission or mediated terms for a male to male marriage. In general a woman is described as one who carry eggs to be fertilised by a male's semen. The bible says a man should find a WOman and make her his wife. Therefore wife can never be a male. Hence a male to male marriage would be invalid according to the context. Therefore the commandment which states thou shalt not commit adultery will have a question mark as it relates to gay marriage.
@@cindyortiz4552 That is an evil thing you have just done, do you know what it was. You took current language and manipulated it into a façade of scripture to mock and condemn someone. You can not deny the flesh by denying love, the most noble of human instincts. There is no law against love(Galatians 5:22-23) The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 13:9-10 To reduce love to the fleshly sin is a perversion of your own doing, not of Queer people.
@@Leggobeest7107 Sodom and Gomorrah were not condemned for homosexual acts, they weren't even condemned for the attempted rape. That is a misreading of th text. The Bible to my knowledge does not *command* marriage or the finding of a wife. Neither does the bible prohibit pre-marital sex What the bible does do is list love among the fruits of the spirit, and states that there is no law against them. To reduce love and marriage to modern conceptions of formulas based on norms is not a scriptural approach to the subject and it is destructive.
In Matthew 5, Jesus said he didn’t come to abolish the Torah, but to fulfill. Jesus takes the sexual morals of the Torah to a higher level. Number two, in Matthew 15, Jesus says all sexual acts committed outside of marriage defile a human being. And in Matthew 19 Jesus says marriage as God intended it is union of one man and one woman, for life. Last but not least, Jesus appointed apostles (“sent ones”) to speak for Him, declaring to them, “Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me” (Matthew. 10:40). One of those apostles was Paul. Jesus speaks to us through him.
Its like these people are trying to trick us by not giving us all the info. Its because they know alot of christians dont even read the bible. Thank you for enlightening people who do not know any better than to believe this man.
Ok, let’s give some context here and there: 1.) Jesus tells the Jewish to keep the laws, but when he fulfils the law, he often reorders it and redefines what things were originally meant. Jesus thinks about these laws vastly differently than the pharisees. He presents a critical way of thinking, so that laws cannot be taken out of context. The Jewish did indeed grab things out of context a lot of times in order to fabricate traditions which they later taught above more important laws. One example is not healing on Sabbath, which Jesus did and he was questioned about it, but he argued that the original law to respect such day was not intended to take away help from others. 2.) In Matthew 15 Jesus mentions adultery (among many) as a form of sinful act, not sexual acts before marriage specifically- also sexual acts considered adultery are between men and women according to the Torah. 3.) Jesus is often asked by the pharisees who wanted to trick and challenge him to prove he is a false prophet. It was exactly the case in Matthew 19 where Jesus answers the pharisees who ask when it is ok to leave your wife. Jesus then replies ONCE you are married, man and women are one flesh. He did not just preach about this as marriage being something explicitly ordered by God for everyone. In fact the verse follows with the pharisees replying “then it is better not to marry”. Keep in mind, Jesus was probably seen as a heretic by many because he was unmarried by his age, which was unusual and seen by the Jewish, as something against nature. So Jesus responds with mentioning three types of eunuchs, one that is made, one that is born and the third that chooses to be celibate for the sake of following God- probably referring to himself. He ends his speech with declaring that such path is not for everyone, as marriage is not a path for everyone either. This was a very new idea to the Jewish. In fact, Jesus softened the notion that men must find women to marry in order to please God. 4.) First of all, Paul was not directly appointed by Jesus, he could easily fabricate his story himself. However, even if we accept him as an apostle, in his letter to the Romans there is an important cultural aspect of sexuality to consider when it came to ancient Rome: the Romans viewed sexuality as a power dynamic; it was always moral to have penetrative sex towards any gender, but the person who “received” had to be below you in social class. The Romans also did not approve homosexual acts most of the time, once the penetrated person was way into puberty, and they did not require the penetrated person to enjoy sex or be in love with the penetrator. In other words these customs were centered around pedophilia, rape and display of social superiority. None of which we equate with homosexual behaviour today. It was not an orientation for the Romans, merely it was a source of immoral pleasure among many. Paul did not talk about such acts when he talked to other nations, because such practices although present, nowhere were they this much immoral than among the Romans. In summary, Jesus did not talk specifically about a lot of things in the Torah that we would consider terrible laws today and which would go against his teachings: such as slavery, gays, ridiculous eating habits and so on. He only had 3 years to preach and he passed on a philosophy of love and kindness and devotion to God. He presented a reformation of how the Jewish and others should view God and his laws. He gave suggestions and moral guidelines, but he wanted people to listen to their heart and brain, and not to follow texts blindly.
Your response reveals that you don't know who Matthew was and his relevance to Jesus. You should really do some research on that before making comments that repeat typical leftist atheist soundbites.
For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others-and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Jesus didn't said the word homosexual because it's a modern word, he did said the word Sodomy which is ancient word. Also the word Pornea in Greek means Harlot, which is prostitution.
But then, what about Intersex people? Or how they called them in the Bible “the ones that were born Eunuchs.” They aren’t neither a female nor a male, so where do they fall in?
He never mentioned doing crack, humping trees, or wearing a kids head for a hat either. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Omission does not equal “okay”.
absence of evidence means that you can say nothing either way. but Jesus did say that all God's commands depend on the command to respect God and do good to one another. If two people are in a relationship characterized by mutual respect, care, faithfulness and so on, then you cannot argue that two people loving each other are not loving each other. my explanation for the likely reason Jesus never said anything on this subject was that such activity in israel would not have been a big deal - only tiny percentage of people are naturally attracted to the same secs. but the gentile world had gone to extremes. men who today we would consider heterosecsual were abyusing slaivs and married men were going to male prostitoots and doing legitimately wrong things. that's why it comes to the attention of the apostle to the gentiles but no other writer in the new testament.
Jesus also said not everyone will get married Matthew 19:11-12 MSG But Jesus said, “Not everyone is mature enough to live a married life. It requires a certain aptitude and grace. Marriage isn’t for everyone. Some, from birth seemingly, never give marriage a thought. Others never get asked-or accepted. And some decide not to get married for kingdom reasons. But if you’re capable of growing into the largeness of marriage, do it.”
Bible is man written, all I know is that GOD wants us to be happy despite who you are. Being different is not a sin. It's a sin to those who ridicule them because they are difference. @┏┳┛ You people believe that God made us all right? We are all God's children. So then you would also believe that he's the one who made us this way. That would mean homosexuality is just as natural and God-given as heterosexuality, right? Saying otherwise is literally contradicting your own beliefs here.
Jesus did mention homosexuality; in Leviticus 18:22, 20:13, Romans 1:26-28, and 1 Corinthians 6:9 for example. As Voddie Baucham rightly says, we get this impression that if Jesus didn't say something specific about homosexuality in the gospels (those red letters in some Bibles), we think He didn't say it at all, but we forget Jesus Christ is the second person of the Godhead. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are still unified as one God, therefore, when the Lord speaks to Moses beginning in Leviticus 18:1, that is Jesus talking as well (and that means right up to Leviticus 18:22). When the Holy Spirit speaks through the apostles in the epistles, it is still from the same Godhead where the Father and Son agree. We should never forget that Christ is God the Son, therefore, anything in our sacred scriptures is from Jesus, including anything pertaining to homosexuality.
100% on point here! You know an old friend of mine who shares your name once went to school in Buffalo...you wouldn't happen to be that same person would you?
Meh, the Bible is so malleable anyone can make an argument on either side of the issue. I don't think the Bible says homosexuality is sinful and I don't think the Bible is against gay marriage.
Tavish, your assertion that the Bible is so malleable is based on what; your opinion? I believe so because you said, "I don't the Bible says..." No offense, but your personal viewpoint doesn't negate the scriptures that plainly say it is a sin. In fact, the scripture uses very blunt language about any type of sexual sin. What you are doing is what scripture clearly forbids in 2 Peter 1:20 because the Word of God is truth (John 17:17). It is in the nature of sinful man to not understand spiritual things because the sinfulness of man can't discern spiritual things (1 Corinthians 2:14). As for marriage, you can't put the adjective "gay" in front of it unless you mean the original definition of the word, which means happy. But if you mean homosexual, then it isn't a marriage since God clearly established the institution in Genesis 2:24, Christ the Son reiterates this definition in Matthew 19:4-5, and the Holy Spirit inspired the pen of the apostle Paul to explain the spiritual context of marriage in Ephesians 5:22-33. It is always between a man and a woman. In this respect, your viewpoint about the Bible is incorrect as it pertains to homosexuality and marriage. It is your choice to disagree with the scriptures, but you should never try to redefine it to fit your validation of a particular sin. God is never neutral about sin; It will send unbelievers to eternal punishment (Revelation 20:11-15) and it took Jesus Christ to die on the cross and raise again to atone for sins so that sinners would be forgiven (John 3:16, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4). This is why the gospel message to repent and believe that Christ died, rose again, and is Lord is so important (Romans 10:9-10).
You have to admit that young men who reach the age of thirty without ever having a girlfriend or who haven't been in any relationships with women will always be subject to the scandalous whisperings about their sexuality by people who know them, especially if the person in question spends a good deal of their time traveling around with twelve young men, sometimes it's fair comment and at other times it's just gossip. Now how old was Jesus at the time they hung him up on a crucifixion cross?
I’m not homosexual but I see many couples and married couples who are happy and they are starting their families. Is it a sin to be in a loving committed relationship with same sex and not practice sexual things with one another? I believe in God and this has always been my question, would it be sinful for a woman and another women (same with men) to marry each other and be in a healthy loving relationship. Would they still be banished to hell, even though the Ten Commandments do not say that homosexuality is a sin or at-least a major one. Only is one covets or has lust. IM JUST CONFUSED!
The Ten Commandments doesn’t mention homosexuality but god burnt down and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for that reason the men of the city even wanted to have sex with the two angels that came to warn Lot, read genesis 19. The Bible is crystal clear on its stance with homosexuality and that it’s a sin and abomination. To answer that question of yours yes the marriage itself is not blessed by god thus it’s an abomination ultimately leads to hell. Sin feels so good but abiding by the rules of god from the Bible is hard but it is also written narrow and hard is the road that leads to heaven only few will make it.
Just because God didn't say anything about homosexuality doesn't mean he's opposed to it either. And ever verse I've read that could be anti-gay was extremely context specific. People *do* twist the scripture to be against the LGBTQ+ community. And they spread that information until many people believe it. Why would God allow there to be gay people, if He wanted them to suppress and change who they are? I'm aware that there are negative things in this world that God doesn't descend from heaven to stop from happening. But that doesn't mean that this is one of them. Being gay is a beautiful thing. And you CAN believe in God and be a Christian, and be an ally. No, it doesn't hurt anything anymore than be heterosexual does. And if it hurts people's feelings that you're gay that's their fault and not yours. Because they chose to be against it. And people can have their feelings hurt way worse, and I mean really way worse, by being oppressed for their sexuality. It's more hurtful to others to be antilgbtq+ than it is to be an ally. So why continue oppressing something that isn't wrong, and that's better than the oppression itself? I'm not trying to personally attack anyone! I'm trying to help you see reason because I believe that anyone is capable of change.
2 Timothy 3:16 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, All scripture comes from God. Scripture very clearly condemns any sexual activity outside of heterosexual marriage as sinful. Therefore God does speak of homosexuality and does not condone it in any context. Being an “ally” may seem loving but it traps people in their sin and encourages them to sin more. And this is one of the least loving things you can do. Speaking the truth in love is what needs to be done so that some may know Jesus and find eternal life.
That is so they can try to hide their own sins. Funny how they are obsessed with homosexuality (that Jesus never preached against) but they completely ignore adultery (that Jesus preached against many times). Some people just can't mind their own business.

Jesus saying that sexual immorality is bad alone proves he's against it, not to mention that he's God in the flesh... not to mention his apostles whom got what they knew from him taught against it, not as opinion, but as authority.
Tavish, he is not against it unless it is sex outside marriage, lust, etc. Jesus is for heterosexuality aligned with the Bible says, both the Old and New Testaments. Clearly, the Bible says that homosexuality is a sin and the only marriage supported by God is between one man and one woman, he makes that clear about marriage in the books of Matthew and Mark, quoting from Genesis. While the word homosexuality does not occur in the Greek, the concept is seen in the Bible. Thanks. God bless. :)
@ Will : No the Bible does not clearly say that homosexuality is a sin. For one thing, the word did not exist. People do not derive their values from scripture. People more often than not, insert their values into scripture. Otherwise, every Christian who reads the Bible would read it exactly the same way. Not two hundred years ago, slave owners and abolitionist used the exact same versus to justify their view points. The power of scripture comes from its malleability. You can read it in any way you want to. How you read scripture has everything to do with who you are. If you justify bigotry using scripture, you are just a bigot.
Yes, the Bible clearly says that homosexuality is a sin, even if that word at that time did not exist, the concept is shown and described in the Old and New Testaments. There are people who do derive their values from scripture instead of inserting their values into scripture. The reason every Christian does not read the Bible exactly the same way is because there are areas in the Bible where it is not clear what the Bible is saying especially on minor points, it is pretty clear on major points. Those slave owners were wrong to use the Bible in the way they did, they twisted Scripture as Satan does. Abolitionists were right to use it to support their movement since the Bible is against slavery and comes one who has been born into sin until they come to know Christ and are released from their slavery to sin. The power of Scripture does not come from its malleability it is comes from it being breathed out by God through his Holy Spirit on the words of those who wrote its pages. Not true, you cannot read it anyway you want to, when you do that it is no longer God's word, even Revelation warns about omitting or adding enough to Scripture. How I read Scripture has nothing to do with who I am, it is about what God says. It is not bigotry, to believe the Bible is true, is the word of God, and can transform a person's life from the inside out. I am not a bigot. Thanks. God bless. :)
Since I wrote my original post a month ago, I noticed over 150 replies about Jesus never mentioning homosexuality from many, if I am not mistaken, are either homosexual or sympathetic to homosexuality. To recap my first post; Jesus did speak against homosexuality because He is the second person of the Godhead, therefore anything the Lord spoke against in the Old Testament is Jesus and the Holy Spirit that moved the men to write the New Testament epistles are also Jesus. You can't separate God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit to validate sin. Yet for those that want to argue against it, you truly need the gospel of Jesus Christ unto salvation. I neglected to share it fully in my other replies, therefore it would be good to explain the gospel. What is the gospel? The word gospel means “good news,” but to understand the depths of the good news, we must understand the bad news first. We must understand that every human being are born sinners. What is sin? Sin is defined as breaking the absolute moral laws of God and coming short of His glory according to 1 John 3:4 and Romans 3:23. What is the absolute moral law of God? They can be summed up in the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) and God’s measurement of perfection is so absolute that if you break one law, you are guilty of breaking them all (James 2:10). Sin isn’t just what you do (a verb), it is who you are (a noun). Every thought, word, and deed of mankind is against God; no one seeks, understands, or fears God at all (Romans 3:10-18). Mankind has inherited this sin nature from the first humans God made, Adam and Eve (Genesis 3, Romans 5:12) because they disobeyed Him. Because we’re sinners by birth, once we die, we must stand before God and give an account to Him as our Creator for breaking His laws. God is holy, righteous, infinite, eternal, self-existent, all powerful, all knowing, as well as our lawgiver and judge (the Bible reveals this throughout scripture), therefore, He must rightly judge His creation for his actions. Everyone will be found guilty according to God’s absolute standards and must be sentenced accordingly; we’ve violated an absolute, eternal God and His punishment will be absolute and eternal. He must punish sinful man to the lake of Fire according to Revelation 20:11-15. You see, man’s only payment for their sin is death, yet there is a way to eternal life (Romans 6:23). How? This is the good news; God has provided Himself as a pardon for sinful man by coming in the flesh as Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God the Son and the Son of God, the second person of the Godhead (the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit). The sinless Son of God was crucified brutally, died on a cross, and rose again to defeat death, to illustrate that He is God, and to offer redemption from sins. Redemption is being bought back to a relationship with God. God does this out of love and if we trust and confess that Jesus died and rose again, we will be saved from the penalty of our sins and forgiven (John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10). How do we believe this? We repent of our sins, which means to have a change of mind about our sins through a godly sorrow (2 Corinthians 7:10), which leads to trust in Jesus Christ. This is known as saving faith. Not wishful thinking or faith by convincing ourselves, but a revelation in our hearts that supernaturally leads to faith in who Jesus is and what Jesus did. This is known as being born again spiritually by God. God will pardon your sins, grant you eternal life in the next life, and a changed heart to live for Him in this life. This is the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ; He died and rose again to provide the pardon we can’t pay in our own works or righteousness. In fact, Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father and heaven (John 14:6), therefore, the only way to forgiveness and eternal life is by Him. This is the good news being presented today and to reject it means you stand before God when you die in your own righteousness, and you will be found guilty. Yet if you repent and trust Jesus Christ today; you will be saved from your sins. Whether you are homosexual or not, if you haven't repented and trusted Christ yet, trust Him today for today is the day of salvation.
So how do you know what God said in the old Testament? Perhaps in Leviticus, where it describes how to wash pots and pans. God mentions homosexuality there. But, wait, Jesus ridiculed the pharisees for the way they washed pots and pans as described in Leviticus as the traditions of men. Jesus pretty much wrote off Leviticus as men's teaching,. But you dare to claim they are still God's words.

When Matthew says that marriage is between one male and one female, He was talking about someone with male attitudes and someone with female attitudes. For God's sake, I am an 88 year old male who lived a life of rejecting my homosexuality because of the Catholic Church's inability to accept the reality that the God who created weeds and coyotes, as well as people also created people who were gay! I knew I was gay at 13 and felt that it would be something I would outgrow! Well, guess what! I did not nor could not outgrow my given sexuality. I wish the so-called religion of Christ would recognize that to be born gay is God-given and not self-choosing! It is such a shame that ministers and priests cannot stop retreating into a "moral box" and start seeing things with God's eyes.
This is a vastly personal and assumptive reading of the scripture. The Bible never claims that sex is exclusive to marriage, the Bible never defines marriage, the Bible never prohibits homosexual marriages. The Bible does not condemn love(Galatians 5:22-23) and we as Christians never ought to either.
The Bible never claims sex is exclusive to marriage? The first few verses in 1 Corinthians chapter 7 discusses it. Verse 2 specifically says let each MAN have his own WIFE, and each WOMAN have her own HUSBAND. Verse 3 says:”Let the husband give to his wife her due, and let the wife also do likewise to her husband.” That refers to sexual relations that are a natural part of God’s gift of marriage. Neither mate should withhold it from the other. The Bible never defines marriage? After creating the first man and woman, God brought them together in marriage. He instituted marriage as a special bond between a man and woman as a foundation for the family unit. (Genesis 1:27,28; 2:18) The Bible never prohibits homosexual marriage? Genesis 2:24: “That is why a MAN will leave his father and his mother and he must stick to his WIFE and they must become one flesh.” That set the standard for man and woman to remain monogamous, and promiscuous sex was ruled out. Leviticus 20:13 clearly states that “if a man lies down with a man the same as one lies down with a woman, both of them have done a detestable thing. They should be PUT TO DEATH WITHOUT FAIL. Their own blood is upon them.” That doesn’t sound like God tolerated such behavior!
@@sunnyjohnson992 1 Corinthians 7 says that married shouldn't be abstinent. That is not remotely the same sentiment as saying that only married couples should be have sex. Genesis 1:28 says that two people should have children. I don't think you honestly believe that marriage is just when two people have a child together. This is not the creation of marriage nor is it the designation or definition of it. Genesis 2:24 also does not define marriage, it does not even use the word marriage. The fact that people pair off is not prescriptive it is descriptive. And you no very well that marriage is not strictly monogamous. The Bible readily recognizes many plural mariages. Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13 are often obviously mistranslated and likely suffer from more fundamental translation problems. But we needn't get into that because Old Covenant commands are not relevant. The Bible never even addresses Queer love, let alone prohibits it.
@Holy Empress W the concept of homosexuality wouldn’t exist until eighteen centuries after the Bible. The scripture never uses the word homosexuality. The Bible only briefly mentions homoerotic behavior and only then under specific circumstances. Queer love is never addressed in any capacity.
@@Grokford There are different words that mean the same thing. The Bible doesn’t say “pilfering” but it uses the word “steal”. Both pilfering and stealing mean the same thing. For homosexuality, the Bible uses the term “abusers of themselves with mankind” which means homosexuality. Different words or phrases that mean the same thing!
@@thegreatescape902 Yes that is also a mistranslation. You’re assuming that “abusers of themselves with mankind” refers to homosexuality by the way, which is a hindsight interpretation. That phrase could easily imply prostitution, gladiator fighting or any number of things. The concept of homosexuality did not exist in the Ancient world, especially in the Roman Empire sexuality was conceptualized more like appetite, subject to change and only relevant in its amount and purpose Thus there was no word that meant homosexual or homosexuality. But all of this is irrelevant linguistic knowledge as far as this issue is concern because no one actually knows the Meaning of the Greek word in this verse. There’s no meaning to be the same as because the word is unknown. Putting homosexual in the gap is a gross neglect of accuracy and responsibility on the part of translators and believing it uncritically is a gross neglect of your responsibility as a faithful Christian.
I WAS A HOMOSEXUAL TRYING TO JUSTIFY JESUS TO ACCEPT ME THE WAY I AM BUT THE TRUTH IS GOD WANTS US TO CHANGE. I can happily say that through commit to to him he has CHANGED ME and I now aspire to have a family instead of marry another woman and live a lesbian lifestyle. Even when you have a child you expect them to change mentally physically etc so God definitely wants the same thing for us. If everyone were Gay no one could have children and life is a gift from God so imagine us being the last of our bloodline because we selfishly wanted to put our wants and need over Gods wants and needs. Jesus Christ is more fulfilling than anyone on earth that I ever dated loved or was involved with and he can be that for anyone who accepts him in their heart. 💜💜🥹🎉🙏🏽‼️ GOD BLESS
True but the thing is with technology now, homosexuals can still have biological children. Ever heard of something called “sperm donors” or “egg donors”. Now anybody can have children biologically. And if god doesn’t accept homosexuals then he wouldn’t have put humans on this earth in the first place. Because he created us the way we are, and he loves us for who we are. And pretending that “changing” is what god wants. It’s sad, that’s everything that god doesn’t want. He wants us to be the person he made us. And NOT CHANGE, but evolve. We can evolve, but not change our personality to “please him”. Because he is already pleased with who we are. If he made us the way we are, then why are we needing to change. It’s evolving, but unfortunately u have evolved in the wrong way. Being gay is not immoral, or unrighteous. It’s something that people are born with and it’s completely natural. Its the choice that you either hide it or take it willingly. It’s sad that you believe that god doesn’t think you should be who you are. God is very clear “thou shall not judge”. So judging people for whom they feel sexual attraction to is wrong and it’s more sinful than “being gay”. God loves us for who we are, he made us. He didn’t make us to be bad people, and being a bad person is like… murder, stealing, judging others for who they are. Being a bad person is NOT being who you truly are. He doesn’t want us to change unless it’s good change. But you haven’t changed good. Unless u believe that you are actually straight. Then u have changed in a bad way. Sorry this is long, but may god bless everyone. Edit: also, the thing is that even back when there wasn’t technology like this, homosexuals could still teach children, and even have some of their own but it was just a bit more complicated. But god had helped us evolve so now everyone can multiply.
@@milahofstein13 I cannot argue with the spiritually dead. All I can say is you will see and I pray you wake from the matrix 💜 Jesus loves you I love you and God bless you
@@Khiythemusician im not spiritually dead. I’m spiritually awakened, and now I am more than ever. I have been going to church every possibility I get during the week, and I repent and reconcile. God has spoken to me through spirit. He told me to be who you are, whoever u may be sexually attracted to or whom you may love. It doesn’t matter, as long as you teach others to follow the word of the lord, and multiply, you are in a good place. Whoever is homosexual, or whatever they may be. They are allowed to be whoever they may be. As long as they aren’t being bad people (which doesn’t make sexual attraction to the same gender a sin) for example, murder, committing adultry, stealing ect. But homosexuality is not a sin. I’ve prayed to god numerous times today, especially because of how much research i have put into this. And right now, I know that god loves us all. And he will forgive us. But homosexuality is something that you should never be sorry for, or want to change. If you believe that becoming a straight woman is more beneficial for who you are, then go for it. But if your doing it just because that’s what you think god wants, then I’m sorry my friend but you have the complete wrong idea. So if you truly believe in the power of the lord. Realise that being the person god made you is not a sin. Sexual attraction is natural and something your born with. No matter if the sexual attraction is to the same or opposite gender, your born with it. The thing is that truly “straight” people find homosexuality beautiful. I know you probably won’t listen to me, and you probably won’t take what I’m saying. But the only thing I want you to understand from this is that my opinion matters as much as yours and both our opinions are right in there own way. I might think your opinion is wrong and you might think the same for mine. But at the end of the day, we are all human and we are all unique. God made us all this way. He made the homosexuals gay and he made you straight (maybe lesbian but not going to assume). But doesn’t mean we should discriminate. I believe that homosexuals deserve as much respect as us. God told us not to judge others. If we won’t judge and forgive murderers, or stealers or pedophiles. Why can’t we do the same for homosexuals. All I want you to take from this is maybe respect other’s opinions and realise god made us unique. Meaning he made us the way we are, including sexual attraction. He doesn’t want us to change our personality, but he wants us to evolve as a society meaning becoming more socially accepting. I don’t want to argue with you, seemingly that you are spiritually dead at the moment. But I hope you can truly find god. Because a true believer knows that god loves everyone. The sick, the poor, the lame, and people that are unique. BEING GAY IS NOT A SIN. May god bless you.
@@fisherbunny5884 I think you will find throughout Scripture including the New Testament that the SABBATH ("Shabbat") meaning "rest" in Hebrew ALWAYS without any exception refers only to the SEVENTH day of the week, now named by Gentiles, including Christians, after the god Saturn ("Saturday"). Whether some or even the majority of Gentile Christians choose by their own volition to make the first day of the week somehow holy instead is immaterial. It still does not match up to the only Biblical definition of the Sabbath that was named by God and observed lifelong by Yeshua, later re-named "Jesus" by the Gentiles. If you can find any verse in the Bible of any instruction or commandment by God, Yeshua or any of the Apostles whereby the Sabbath can be replaced or superceded by "Sun"-day named after the "sun" and not the "Son," then I would take on board what you claim. But after 40 years I can find no such instruction or authority, save only extra-Biblical ecclesiastical traditions and theology that have very weak arguments indeed. Jesus/Yeshua was the Lord of the Sabbath, not of "Sun"-day, and He is the Passover Lamb, not our ecclesiastical "Easter Bunny," which name comes from a pagan fertility goddess Eostre.

1:01 No, Jesus did not say that. What defiles us is what comes out of our mouths. "Listen and understand. What goes into a man's mouth does not defile him `unclean,' but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him `unclean" Jesus. With regard to having sex without marriage, it does not defile you if, e.g., both partners love each other, or lust after each other. But what defiles you if you have sex with a prostitute or a one-night-stand; just sex for sex.
Actually Jesus did provide his view on homosexuality! Genesis 18 and 19 is where Sodom and Gomorrah’s destruction is planned. Genesis 18:1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; Genesis 18:2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, The LORD in human form is none other than Jesus! Referring to the 3 visitors (Jesus and 2 angels) you get: Genesis 18:22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD. Genesis 19:1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; Then as they flee Sodom: Genesis 19:26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. The above verse tells how Lot’s wife looked back (at her old life with desire for it). Now let’s go to Luke where this is explained by Jesus himself: Luke 17:32 Remember Lot's wife. Luke 17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. So to recap...Jesus showed up to be with Abraham and discuss the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Jesus then reminds us to not be like Lot’s wife and yearn for the old life of sin. So Jesus clearly does not approve of Sodomy and killed a bunch of people for it, and then wanted you to remember this event by addressing it in Luke. Romans 1 discusses how people become homosexuals via the reprobate mind.
Where does it say Sodom was destroyed because of homosexuality? Cause there is a verse that says why it was destroyed and it was because they were proud haughty overfed people with no concern for the poor and needy. Sounds like most American Evangelicals.
and yet God said sodoms sin was not helping the poor n needy.....ezek 16;49. Assume u think Gods a liar? Good job we have you to correct God. As for romans 1, it was how heterosexuals used same sex acts in idolotry that God hated.

Good question brother; I think we have to look at the purpose of marriage - to reflect the relationship and function between God and the Church and wife and husband respectively. We might first also understand that Jews deny that Jesus is Messiah, and flesh of the Word. Given those premises, we can conclude that it would be a bit strange (and wrong yeah lol) for God to sanctify more than one church... suggesting that there was more than one faith and gospel different from another. We can also conclude given Jewish people attempt to uphold the Law to beget righteousness - of which would negate one's need for sanctification - rejecting the purpose of Christian marriage. In other words, Jewish marriage is slightly different.
@A M LOL Jesus was asked if a man can divorce his wife and he gave a reason why he shouldn't. You can pretend that Jesus was making any position on gender all you like.

Having same-sex attractions and desires does not excuse the decision to gratify them by engaging in sexual behavior and activity based on them; as that would be a choice; just as it is with all other sexual immorality.
The fakers are those who lie to homosexuals by telling them that they can be Christian while at the same time continuing to practice sexual activity based on homosexuality. Such Christians are setting homosexuals up for eternal damnation. There's nothing loving about that.

You know there are many versions of the Bible, right? Some of them are incomplete, partial, and complete Bibles. This heavily indicated two things: neither Lord God Himself or Lord Jesus Christ Himself created the book and the Bible has been made by multiple generations. Many are translated and interpreted differently from one and another. Just using the English-language Bibles, that alone suggested they were created by men that spoke English, here are examples to support my claims. There are two versions of KJV, one made in 1611 and another made in 1769, spoken in Shakespearean language. KJV is famously known to be the "Authorized Version" in both UK and USA. Well, there's the Matthew's Bible, which was made in 1537. That Bible was made earlier than both KJV Bibles. There is the Woman's Bible, made both 1895 and 1898, after the KJV. And recent Bibles, like RNJB (completed) made in 2019, MCT recently made in 2019, and LSV made in 2020. You know the NLV was made 1986, so what makes that version of the Bible more credible than NKJV (made 1982) or NLT (made 1996) 😕 What makes any Bible made in English translation anymore credible than other Bibles made in different languages? I also want to point out the 1st Bible made in English-language is the Tyndale Bible, made in 1494-1536. Buuuuuut guess which Bible is considered to be the most accurate written, closest to the ancient manuscripts found thousands and thousands of years ago. It's the Codex Vaticanus, which has been historically and scientific proven as COMPLETE Bible in early 4th-century. I also want to point out that Bible isn't written in English, and is preserved currently in the Vatican Library. Oh, and the Geneva Bible is considered to be the most historically translations of the Bible into English, preceding the KJV. I desire to follow Lord God, not men
rom 1 is says certain people (idolatrous roman males) were doing shameful things with other males. that does not sound like "all same secs relationships are sin" to me.
Jesus never specifically talked about homosexuality. However, if there are 50 women on a stage including my wife I don't have to point out every individual that is not my wife. All I have to do is point out who IS my wife and that automatically rules everyone else out as being wrong. So when He says in Mark 10:7-8 "For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and shall cleave to his wife. And the two of them shall be one flesh. So then they are no longer two, but one flesh", He automatically excludes homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, beastiality, cohabiting outside of marriage, adultery, fornication or any other type of arrangement apart from what He was taking about as being wrong and sinful and something that will result in those people practicing them as a lifestyle hearing "depart from me, I never knew you". They will not enter God's loving presence. They are all signs that people have not seen the depravity of their human heart compared to God's perfect holy righteousness, have not realized their guilt deserves eternal punishment, have not pleaded for God's mercy through Christ 's death on the cross to forgive them and that the blood of Christ has not washed away their unrighteousness to make peace between them and God since they enjoy those arrangements and have no intention of repenting from those sins. Christ did not come to condemn the world but that the world might be saved through Him from the condemnation they are already under. But if people choose to remain the god of their own life and seek their own pleasure instead of surrendering the authority over their life to Christ to make Him the God of their life then there is no forgiveness for them and they will have to endure an eternity in a place of torment that was never intended for men and women but will be their eternal dwelling place regardless. Sorry if that offends your political correctness but failure to warn people so they will have a chance to escape judgement and torment is true hate.
"The short of it is, in a number of important texts, porneia meant any kind of sex that was not with your “legitimate” wife for purposes of procreation. It is used to refer to inappropriate sex men have with prostitutes, with fallen angels, with a wife if she is from a different tribe (i.e. exogamy or miscegeny), or with a concubine who is not a wife. But also with a wife who is menstruating or pregnant. Or on a Sabbath. Or, most telling, only in order to fulfill “passion and lust” - that is, out of desire rather than to make babies. Or in ways that can make babies. OK, then. If we want to say that in Matthew when Jesus condemns “porneia” he is tacitly referring to same-sex relations, and condemning them, we’d have to say he is tacitly referring to oral sex, anal sex, sex on Saturday, sex when a legitimate spouse is menstruating, or when the only real objective is to fulfill sexual desire."
Matt. 19:3-9 is very straightforward to all who understand English. A husband is a male and a wife is a female. Just as Jesus interview with the Woman at the well when he refers to her Five Previous Husbands John 4:16-18, Plain and simple.
According to scripture, I guess I'm condemned to hell, since my wife and I divorced for other reasons than for sex outside the marriage. It's interesting to me that the church, in general, goes after the gay folks, but doesn't really have much to say about divorced people, or adulterers. First Timothy 1:9-11 lists a bunch of people that the church doesn't seem to be worried about, other than gay people. Plain and simple, if you understand English.
Jesus didn't mention homosexuality because he wasn't here to wash us in our sins but rather to wash us in his blood through crucifixion. LGBTQ has salvation on the table for them as much as anyone. They just have to receive it through the same means that any other does.
@@pastorbri You know nothing about the Bible then. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one. The Bible is the Word of God. I know you are apparently having a lot of trouble Biblically, but this should help you with your heresy.
While the underlying beliefs attributed to Christianity are admirable why does anyone give credence to a text that was not contemporaneous, dates back to times when few could read or write, wasn't reliably transcribed from one version to the next and which seems to be interpreted or applied in any way that suits the individual?
I don't see why the literacy levels should necessarily affect the reliability of a text. Mass literacy is a very recent phenomenon, I don't think that means we should discredit everything written before the 18th century. As for transcription errors, that undeniably did happen, but the discovery of The Dead Sea Scrolls, among other ancient documents have been used to check for that sort of thing. And the rate of transcription errors(at least since the scrolls were written) are relatively minor. So I'm of the mind that the modern text is mor or less what it would have been to contemporary readers. If you ask me, the far bigger problem is not transcription, it's translation. Unfortunately a lot of translation is done by people who have never spoken a living language other than their native one, and can imprint their biases onto the dead languages. Or worse, where good translation is being done the politics can prevent them from being included. The RSV(1946) was the first Bible to use the word "homosexual" and that's its own can of worms but when an updated version of that translation, the NRSVue(2017), use the more accurate "men who engage in ilicit sex" people were outraged. It would have been worse if more Christians even paid enough attention to translation to notice that the relatively unknown edition was being published.

There is no word for homosexuality in Greek, which is what the New Testament was translated from. So it’s impossible that it’s a literal translation. The word commonly used in Greek for such mistranslated texts would be Arsenokoites which typically translates to shrine prostitution
Arsenokoites literally means "malebedders." Arsen = man, male, manly. Koites = bed. It had nothing to do with shrine prostitution. That didn't come up until some progressive (yes, progressives have been around longer than just this century) decided to "muddy the waters."
People think jesus didnt say about homosexuality isnt a sin yet they think about what jesus says not what the bible says also leviticus 20:13 no matter what it is clear it says that saying sleeping with the same gender is indeed a abomination to god and grave sin and to add onto this even further when someone says the words"i am gay" it can mean different things as if u mean it with inclination then sure u can be a Christian however if you are actively gay and are gay in the terms then yes it is grave sin. And to even further add onto that if you look at any major Christian preacher or Bishop or anything such as Bishop mari mari he clearly says that being gay is an abomination to god. Mother angelica also says what i have repeated in my paragraph she says that overall being gay is a gave sin.May God Bless You.
Yes He did!!! I quote Jesus’ words: “Have you never read that, in the beginning, He made them male and female?” You quoted it yourself, so if He said, “For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to His wife (not husband), and the two shall be one flesh.”
"A man ... joined to his wife". Sounds like he's talking about straight people to me. But look at the text he's quoting and think it through. You'll see that it's supportive of same-secs marriage.
The existence of gender is not contrary to homosexuality, but rather a necessary element. The existence of heterosexual marriage is irrelevant to the morality of Queer people.

You assume too much, Sam, and therefore put words in Jesus’ mouth! In referencing Genesis, Jesus did not explicitly specify that marriage was between one man and one woman, as so many people from the religious right are prone to saying (as if the indefinite article “a” weren’t enough). You’re simply speculating when you assert that by making reference to Genesis, Jesus was making the point that marriage is between a man and a woman (see how the use of the indefinite article “a” works). However, I’d suggest that in the context of Matthew 19, the reference to Genesis was merely to make the point about the perpetuity of marriage-not to affirm or disaffirm any other presuppositions about marriage that the characters in Matthew 19 may have held (e.g., a valid marriage is only between believers; marriage is only between individuals who make a public/legal proclamation of their marriage; marriage can be between a man who is much older than his minor (and what we’d now consider under-age) bride)-see all the presuppositions you’re ignoring, Sam! Plus, if Jesus were making the point that, for all of time, for a marriage to be legitimate, it must only be between a man and a woman, can we then say that Jesus was disaffirming the unions between the Jewish patriarchs and their wives and concubines (e.g., Abraham, Jacob, David, Solomon)? I simply think it goes too far to say that Jesus was referencing Genesis on the occasion presented in Matthew 19 to make the point that marriage is between a man and a woman so as to abjure the marriages of these patriarchs (whose marriages would have more readily been in the consciousnesses of the characters in Matthew 19)-let alone marriages of same-sex couples of today or any period (whose marriages were likely not in the consciousnesses of the characters in Matthew 19), or certainly not fore of mind given that their question went more to the perpetuity of marriage in the context of divorce. In short, you’re just showing your political bias by extending Jesus’ words to assert that Jesus is affirming (and not just working within the context of) a presupposition that you’d like to have affirmed! Moreover, the more that you make such arguments, the more you seem like a tool of the religious right wing that seeks to legislate restrictive norms for all of society without regard for the hearts and minds of people who might want to choose without coercion or being guilted with specious arguments like these about with whom they spend their lives.
@@YrretsJ Hmm... Okay. I guess you're right. I apologise. I just think the bible makes it clear that any sexual activity outside of a heterosexual marriage is not what God intended. You need to really want to not see that to believe that God is okay with it.
um ... there's a lot of reading things into the bible it doesn't say here. i don't know of anyone who has been able to prove that porneia included premarital secs. also if you go back to genesis 2, it's not merely that God made a man and a woman that is the reason they get married. the man was presented with the woman and the man recognized the woman as suitable, and it is this latter point which is followed by "therefore" they get married. thus if a man does not find a woman as a suitable partner, what should he do? neither genesis 2 nor mat 19 answer that question directly. we do have God saying man should not be alone and 1 cor 7 says it's better to marry. and we have no explicit instruction that forbids samesecs relationships. put that together and you have the answer, and it's not the answer this guy claims.
This is really such a saddening video to be put up in this day and age. Jesus loves everyone no matter who you love and rather than viewing God as external in John 1:9 it talks about us as all people having the light within or that God in everyone. If any person from the LGBTQ+ community has watched this video please know this you are loved and that what has been said here is not true. Be who you are and love who you love.
At no point n this video did he say Jesus does not love you if you are gay, but gay sex is a sin, just like the other forms of sex he mentioned. Sins can be forgiven if you repent, but if you deny that you are sinning you cannot repent, and cannot be forgiven. Pointing out sin to the unaware is an act of love.
We don’t have record of Jesus explicitly mentioning homosexuality, but we do have Paul’s comment on the matter. Paul coins the term “ἀρσενοκοῖται”, which he gets from the LXX in Leviticus 20:13, “ἄρσενος κοίτην”. Even Paul uses the Law to speak against homosexuality. Jesus was speaking to Jews that already abstained from homosexuality. Paul wrote to Greeks that were known for such sexual immorality.
@Soldier4JesusChrist doesn’t it also say not to wear two different types of fabric at the same time and to not plant different types of seeds within the same field? And what translation, out of so many different versions of the Bible are you using? And are you using the proper historical context for the verse.
@Soldier4JesusChrist you’re ignoring what god also asked of us in that book. And every sin is the same in god’s eyes. And where in the Bible does it say god made man and woman to marry?

For any adults seeing this, just know the fact that you get so gun-ho about the word of god, so as to weaponize it and use it against your fellow man is disgusting and it is absolutely not what Christ intended. I encourage you to passionately research this topic from BOTH sides just as you are so passionately hurting these individuals. if he does not like it or same sex is mistake, why did he create it. we should know that lgbt is not one or two persons it is a huge group. why did he create this huge group if it is a mistake
This is very clarifying, enlightening. Once we account for the definition of marriage by Jesus, that is, between one male and one female, we know, and understand, that anything outside of that context is sin and that includes homosexuality. Jesus definition of marriage and anything outside of that context being sinful and defiling to us, is consistent with the entire bible. In the entire bible we see that scripture consistently condemns adultery, pre marital sex or fornication, prostitution, bestiality, and homosexuality. Jesus points us to Genesis 1 and 2 and Jesus in Mathew 19 ties marriage into the creation of male and female. And God created only two genders -male and female. Once we account for Jesus definition of marriage, the claim that God approves of and sanctions homosexual relationships and same sex marriage is proven to be false and un-biblical and not reality. In fact, it is false teaching that is leading many, many people to the lake of fire. For no homosexual will inherit Gods kingdom. Jesus definition of marriage is biblical truth and therefore, reality. And the bible is truth and describes reality.

The Bible is a whole library of old books that reflects the values and understandings of when it was written. There may be some historical references to stuff that happened as described, but given that it was gradually put together over hundreds of years, even the historical stuff is not very reliable. On homosexuality the Bible is pretty negative about the sexual act, mainly in Leviticus in the Old Testament, where it is condemned, but it is not understood as we understand it today. There's no more reason to accept what the Bible says about sex anymore than what it says about the universe being created in six days. Jesus never mentions it. His main message is to forgive and forgive and forgive....If the world followed that it would be a far better place.

but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. Luke 17:29-30 Jesus did mention the sins of Sodom.
Scripture mentions it, but it's not what you think. “‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. That’s a false, Bible-twisting interpretation. I guess you didn’t read this Scripture: “as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” Jude 1:7 It’s very clear sexual immorality, in this case the sin of homosexuality, was the issue. In addition, homosexual acts are condemned in other passages. You need to get away from the heretics filling your mind with this progressive nonsense, and read the whole Bible.

Also, it's worth noting homosexuals were not leaving forsaken children everywhere.
Disagree! You have drawn a long bow. Jesus gave us one example of marriage. How can Jesus possibly condemn two people who truly love each other and want to commit to each other and care for each other? Stop thinking with your head, and think with your heart. Show some love towards people other than just heterosexuals. Jesus is about unconditional love.
Thinking with your heart can be illogical and make you think irational decisions. Thinking with your head let's you think things through and help you to make better decisions.
He's not saying that; your absolutely right. But I will, the New Testament or the Bible in general might mention things that fall into our modern concept of homosexuality, but it never mentions homosexuality; precisely because it is a modern concept.

Fellow homosexuals, we are just fine. I left religion in 1980, at 20, and never looked back. Love yourselves, and honor the path you've been chosen for. Within you is your guidance. Meditate in stillness, and your path will be illuminated. To ease your mind, Jesus NEVER mentions anything about homosexuality, never. Nor his brother, James. Nor the disciple whom Jesus loved, John. Nor Simon Peter. Only Paul does, and we are lacking historical context, but I can assure you, we homosexuals are not offensive to what is right. Being YOU, at your essence, is always right. YOU are your path. Rejoice in it! In Jewish Scripture, Sodom is often mistakenly associated with homosexuality, likely because of bigotry by people who are hypocrites. Scripture says in Jeremiah 23.14 that their sins were adultery, deceit, injustice and unrepentance; and in Ezekiel 16.49 that their sins were pride and arrogance, and that they lacked compassion. Homosexuality is never mentioned. As for the laws of Moses, man shall not lie with another man, well, this one is simple. Moses lists many other laws there. Let's see if the hypocrites observe THOSE OTHER laws: It's an abomination to eat shellfish. It's an abomination to cut your hair. It's an abomination to be tattooed. It's an abomination to eat pork. It's an abomination for a husband to have sex with his wife within the seven day period after she menstruates. I could go on, but you get the picture. I would recommend that you not associate with people who discriminate against homosexuals. They are dyed-in-the-wool hypocrites. Love yourselves, and love others. It is this that fulfills the law, not being this or that. Paul is the one who says: The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace and joy. To the pure, all things are pure. And Jesus himself said: It is not what goes into a man that defiles him, but what proceeds out of his heart that defiles him. Be pure of heart, and be yourself! Love and Light!
It is. It's a physical expression of apreciation and passion towards 2 or more persons that is used to not just make yourself feel good but to make your partner feel good as well. Not to mention that sex can be healthy, physicaly and mentaly, since it can releave stress, streinghen you immune system and improove your sleep.
Interesting how you say he condemns conduct of the Old Testament where Judah had sex with his daughter in law, thinking she was a prostitute. So prostitution was cool in Jewish Law! Jesus also taught to obey the law! We seem to be receiving mixed messages?
"How Can Homosexuality Be Wrong If It Doesn't Harm Anyone?".This is a no brainer and I will answer it with 2 more questions which will bring you the RIGHT answer. 1-How does idolatry could be WRONG when it does NOT harm anyone? 2-could our relationship with Jehovah God could be compromised by anything which we could do that wouldn't harm either another person or ourselves?. If you could answer those 2 questions you will get the answer of "How Can Homosexuality Be Wrong If It Doesn't Harm Anyone?"
This argument is non sequitur because A.) the sin of Idolatry is a direct challenge to the authority of God in God's person, it is the original sin of Satan. B) The argument is negated by the New Testament where Paul stated not to become involved in such an argument in the first place, because the argument that one's relationship with God can be harmed by X is negated by what God told Peter: "Do not call unclean that which I have called clean".
Before anyone can condemn another's behavior they don't like, they better be sure they have no sin in them. Are homosexuals goats? If not, why do you judge them? JESUS didn't say they are. It is just wrong to tell anyone that their actions are a sin when JESUS never mentioned it as sinful. JESUS is GOD almighty and LORD. Let him be yours and work out your own salvation and don't concern yourself with someone else's.

However the bible and Jesus never once condemn Homosexuality as Paul's teachings have been mistranslated, as it also never condemns Slavery. Not once does it say "Marriage is to be between a man and a woman". It is implied that that is the case, and Jesus uses that heterosexual marriage as an example because of the society in which he was. At the time that society condemned homosexuality, as same it didn't condemn slavery. The Bible didn't give us a cure for cancer, or tell us how to save the earth from climate change, we have to listen to God through ourselves in order to figure those things out. If the bible doesn't condemn it, how can you say that it is sin? The Bible was written in a different world. We cannot expect to live by the same old rules provided by the people of the past, and not the God of the now.
And it includes masturbation, looking at sexual images in movies and shows etc. My issue is that people focus on same-sex but forget their own transgressions. We're here on earth because we're ALL guilty of sexual sin. If we weren't we wouldn't be here.

You can not deny the flesh by denying love, the most noble of human instincts. There is no law against love(Galatians 5:22-23)
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

That is a misreading of th text.
The Bible to my knowledge does not *command* marriage or the finding of a wife.
Neither does the bible prohibit pre-marital sex
What the bible does do is list love among the fruits of the spirit, and states that there is no law against them.
Ok, let’s give some context here and there:
1.) Jesus tells the Jewish to keep the laws, but when he fulfils the law, he often reorders it and redefines what things were originally meant.
1. Jesus did not say that because the bible was written by old men. 2. Homosexuality was very common and actually encouraged back then

I don't think the Bible says homosexuality is sinful and I don't think the Bible is against gay marriage.
dcapitan, no, it isn't me; I never went to school in Buffalo. Sorry.
Eric Smith Shoot! In any case, I'm in total agreement with what you initially stated. It needed to be said.
2 Timothy 3:16
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
All scripture comes from God.
Why do religious people get so obsessed with other peoples choice of sexual partner - to us it just seems intrusive

Then Jesus must be against heterosexuality.
Thanks. God bless. :)
maybe homophobia is part of sexual immorality?
No Jesus did not speak against homosexuality because it is not a sin. ;)

After
creating the first man and woman, God brought them together in marriage. He instituted marriage as a special bond between a man and woman as a foundation for the family unit. (Genesis 1:27,28; 2:18)
The Bible never prohibits homosexual marriage? Genesis 2:24: “That is why a MAN will leave his father and his mother and he must stick to his WIFE and they must become one flesh.” That set the standard for man and woman to remain monogamous, and promiscuous sex was ruled out. Leviticus 20:13 clearly states that “if a man lies down with a man the same as one lies down with a woman, both of them have done a detestable thing. They should be PUT TO DEATH WITHOUT FAIL. Their own blood is upon them.” That doesn’t sound like God tolerated such behavior!

1 Corinthians 7 says that married shouldn't be abstinent.

The concept of homosexuality did not exist in the Ancient world, especially in the Roman Empire sexuality was conceptualized more like appetite, subject to change and only relevant in its amount and purpose
Thus there was no word that meant homosexual or homosexuality.

Actually Jesus did provide his view on homosexuality!
Genesis 18 and 19 is where Sodom and Gomorrah’s destruction is planned.
Genesis 18:1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
Genesis 18:2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
The LORD in human form is none other than Jesus!
Referring to the 3 visitors (Jesus and 2 angels) you get:
Genesis 18:22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.
Genesis 19:1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
Then as they flee Sodom:
Genesis 19:26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
The above verse tells how Lot’s wife looked back (at her old life with desire for it).
Now let’s go to Luke where this is explained by Jesus himself:
Luke 17:32 Remember Lot's wife.

Let’s read the whole thing:
Ezekiel 16:49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
***Not helping the poor and needy is one of many sins they committed. But God doesn’t destroy a whole civilization just for that. They key word is ABOMINATION. Let’s keep reading!
Ezekiel 16:50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.
Another sin they committed was ABOMINATION!
What did the Sodomites do that is specifically called ABOMINATION?
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
***Oh look! The word ABOMINATION pops up in reference to homosexuality, which is what they were doing on a large scale as a society. Not helping the poor is sinful, but it’s not abomination. Not all sin is equal in God’s eyes. Some sins are much worse and called ABOMINATION.
***Homosexuality is not just a sin but also a crime with God. It’s equivalent to murder, rape, witchcraft, sacrificing children to Molech (baby killing), adultery...as in all these are considered worthy of the physical death penalty with God. Homosexuality is ABOMINATION.
You are a false prophet trying to promote sodomy.
@@MrTruth100 Nice try but still wrong Im affraid. Jews didn't outlaw polygamy until the 11th century. What did Jesus say about that?
Good question brother;
I think we have to look at the purpose of marriage - to reflect the relationship and function between God and the Church and wife and husband respectively.
He did.. in the verse that people pretend is about the gender of who you marry.

Indeed. "Born this way" does not matter in the slightest; Jesus says that you have to be born again if you want to enter the kingdom of heaven.

First Timothy 1:9-11 lists a bunch of people that the church doesn't seem to be worried about, other than gay people. Plain and simple, if you understand English.

Moreover, the more that you make such arguments, the more you seem like a tool of the religious right wing that seeks to legislate restrictive norms for all of society without regard for the hearts and minds of people who might want to choose without coercion or being guilted with specious arguments like these about with whom they spend their lives.

um ... there's a lot of reading things into the bible it doesn't say here. i don't know of anyone who has been able to prove that porneia included premarital secs.
also if you go back to genesis 2, it's not merely that God made a man and a woman that is the reason they get married. the man was presented with the woman and the man recognized the woman as suitable, and it is this latter point which is followed by "therefore" they get married.
thus if a man does not find a woman as a suitable partner, what should he do? neither genesis 2 nor mat 19 answer that question directly. we do have God saying man should not be alone and 1 cor 7 says it's better to marry. and we have no explicit instruction that forbids samesecs relationships. put that together and you have the answer, and it's not the answer this guy claims.

Jesus was speaking to Jews that already abstained from homosexuality.
Paul wrote to Greeks that were known for such sexual immorality.
Gotta read into the context of the times of the scriptures, not just brute force them into a modern understanding.
Why do videos usually talk about adults not kids what about us kids we exist to you know
You are perfect the way you are. Please don't let this get to you. These adults rant and rave about this and the reality is most people have it all wrong! You just worry about getting good grades and having fun!!
It must be nice, to feel like you are a part of some group, and to feel as though you can blame or antagonize another group, but I encourage you to seek out your own sin. Seek out your own evil, and please stop infringing on other people- your misdirected shame and self hatred.
To add: people HATED Jesus Christ. People would spit on his name in his day. Yes, he had a humble amount of followers, but his life ended in execution (and soon resurrection and ascension). Let it be known that the pseudo-helpful atmosphere that you are tossing at these people like stones to their face is exhibiting the EXACT same behavior nonbelievers and heretics exhibited in the biblical era toward Jesus Himself. If you are too lazy, or too pompous to educate yourself (or to...gasp... think that maybe your belief system isn't as flawless as you might think since you still have enough of a gloomy outlook and misdirected aggression that you find yourself on a youtube video comment section that arguably has nothing to do with you and the way you live your life throwing homophobic remarks at innocent people)- then please just work more on loving your brother like you do yourself (although it seems like you could use some brushing up on the yourself part too)

And the bible is truth and describes reality.
so where are the verses that both mention and condemn same sex marriages? If there are none why are u adding to what Jesus never said??????
@@pastorbri he never said Brian will become a pastor but here you are. He did say there will be those that pretend to know me whom I will not know....! He did say that the only marriage that will be accepted by the father and as such by him is one between man and woman.

The Old testament is full of 'gods' that are not the same god of Abraham and Isaac. Abraham already had two wives before 'god' made his 'acquaintance'. Search for one example of god The Father in the OT telling someone to go out and get married to more than one wife at the same time.
@@julien1 there are many more than just him with many wives and God was ok with it, which shows there is NO 1 definition of marriage, no matter how ya try to make it so.
Jesus encounter and set free people with unclean spirits, unclean spirits is the main cause of homosexuality.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He (Jesus) was in the beginning with God. John 1:1-2
but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
Luke 17:29-30
Jesus did mention the sins of Sodom.
yes, their sins are listed in ezekiel: arrogance and contempt for their fellow human beings.
Please read Ezekiel 16: 49 and 50. The bible is very clear about what caused Sodom and Gomorrah's destruction. Homosexuality did not cause it.
Rape not homosexuality
Scripture mentions it, but it's not what you think.
“‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy.
Ezekiel 16:49
Attempted rape is not the same as homosexuality anyways, but even that wasn't the reason the city was destroyed
That’s a false, Bible-twisting interpretation. I guess you didn’t read this Scripture: “as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” Jude 1:7
It’s very clear sexual immorality, in this case the sin of homosexuality, was the issue. In addition, homosexual acts are condemned in other passages. You need to get away from the heretics filling your mind with this progressive nonsense, and read the whole Bible.

It was clearly unimportant. Defiantly less important for an all knowing all loving God in his words for the ages. What was important the other things he explicitly talked about. If you see a gay dude, yours is to assure he has food and drink and welcome and understanding. The things that were discussed.

Let's see if the hypocrites observe THOSE OTHER laws:
It's an abomination to eat shellfish.
Paul is the one who says:
The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace and joy.
To the pure, all things are pure.
And Jesus himself said:
It is not what goes into a man that defiles him, but what proceeds out of his heart that defiles him.
Be pure of heart, and be yourself!
Love and Light!
Sodomy isn’t love.
It is.
It's a physical expression of apreciation and passion towards 2 or more persons that is used to not just make yourself feel good but to make your partner feel good as well.
We've reached a point in our evolution where sex isn't just about reproduction anymore.
Not to mention that sex can be healthy, physicaly and mentaly, since it can releave stress, streinghen you immune system and improove your sleep.
Sex is sex, Love is Love, funny that.
Interesting how you say he condemns conduct of the Old Testament where Judah had sex with his daughter in law, thinking she was a prostitute.
So prostitution was cool in Jewish Law!
Jesus also taught to obey the law!

If you could answer those 2 questions you will get the answer of

Don't these times sound familiar in The Book Of Revelations?
These are the signs Our God is coming
Is this supposed to make sense? lol
You are Jesus' enemy. He hates homophobes

Thank you.
