Beth Hart is one of those rare cases where she sounds so much better live than in the studio. Listened to a version of this song on Spotify and it doesn't even hold a candle to this version. That's when you know you've got a fucking good voice.

I remember watching this for the first time several years ago and having almost like a religious experience. I have never been so dumb-struck by a performance in my life, every time I go back to watch this it feels like it reaches into the depths of my soul and makes something stir and come alive. It makes me remember what it should feel like to be alive, not the deadening grind of a 9-5, THIS is life.
If this video fails to evoke some sense of emotion and feeling in anyone who watches it, or even just hears it played, I don’t know what will! It doesn’t matter what type of music a person usually likes and listens to, or what the lyrics are - this is one hell of a performance by two extremely talented musicians (both alone or together)! I can’t even compare what this does to me with anything else I’ve heard in my more than 1/2 century of being a classical musician!
Absolutely !..I will be 76 , played coronet, trumpet and baritone since 11 and this performnce transcends all genres.It shows what happens when two artists form a catalyst and build each others performance ! It is very rare to see it happen at so high of level...Fortisimo...indeed !
