He mentions superchargers multiple times. Detroit 2 strokes utilized a mechanical blower to push intake air through ports in rhe cylinders. They don't "supercharge" the air going in. Later versions added turbochargers ahead of the blower for more power.
That's a Balderson U blade off a Cat D7 it fits because both machines have a '78 inch gauge the distance between the center line of the sprocket as view from the side .I have seen a terex 82-50 blade on a cat D8K because they both shared a 84 inch guage.

What ever happened to that Terex? Did anyone ever get it running again? Parts are still plentiful for the 6-71 Detroit engines.
I know it moved but I don't know how or where. Hopefully someone still uses it.
