Ah its so heartwarming to see a video about a place so special to me! My family and I went to point pleasant every summer when I was growing up. The Jersey Shore show created such a reputation about the actual place that whenever I talk about going there, people that aren't from NJ cringe. Some areas aren't so nice but places like Point Pleasant are really beautiful, and I have so many special memories from playing in the arcades and at the Candy Wheels and Balloon Pop games on the boardwalk! If you ever get a chance, you should visit Cape May NJ. It's my current favorite beach town. It's so so cute and has so many little shops and beautiful old houses and gardens to look at!! I think you'd love it

Omg! Seeing this made me so giddy! I live literally 10 minutes from Point Pleasant! Many summers (and winters) spent hanging out on the boardwalk. Thank you for the kind words. I am definitely one of those people that value keeping the shore clean.
I love that boardwalk! It's one of my favorites, you should go to wildwood and cape may, it's beautiful down there. Cape may is really historic, and the wildwood beach is a mile long. And the sand is so soft!

This was such a fun and pretty vlog! I never realized there was so much beauty there, probably because of the show as well.
I live in Philly and so I go to the Jersey shore a lot! The place I go is probably much further south from where you were since you were coming from New York but we also have Kohr Bros. custard in South Jersey! I look forward to it every time! Looks like the northern Jersey Shore has nicer boardwalks though. I've never seen such nice arcades with nice prizes to win! But maybe I just haven't been inside them for a few years. Maybe next time I go I will check it out!

I freaked out at the beginning because I go to Point Pleasant all the time, the boardwalk there is so much fun. I have never seen it that empty before though LOL. Can't wait for the NYC one though cause I go there even more often.

I was exactly the same because in the UK Jersey shore is p much all we get about new Jersey. But i went over there to visit my partner and it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to! I can't wait until I can go back when it's warmer and I can go in the sea and have this much fun

I have such a love-hate relationship with claw games. I'm not very good at them, but I always want what's inside so I'm suckered into trying and trying. I try to find play until you win ones, but those ones always have crappy toys.

I'm surprised the beach was so empty-I don't live far from NJ, & from my experience, so long as the weather's still nice, even after the holiday (which it generally is for a little bit yet that time of yr), there's usually still alot of people there.

I live in seaside and I wish I knew you were there I would have loved to meet you in person finally! Although next time for reference playing the claw machines usually no matter which one you win you can always trade it in for something else in the machine!

Grab the ones closer to the hole so it can't just drop inside without moving too much. Coney Island is way more fun. The beach isn't as nice, but it's visually amazing. If you go, check out Coney Art Walls.

I think I've realized why I don't like large bodies of water as much as I used to, the last few times I went to the lake or beach I always had this fear of falling over from the wave and getting swept away or falling off the boat (or dock) and drowning. I can't swim and I get too scared to stay calm in those situations

I'm not sure if you're into cosplay at all (I kind of get that vibe from you, maybe it's the hair?) but my friend helps host some cosplay beach days throughout the summer at pt pleasant and you should come to next years :)
i know this video is old but i have a Jersey shore tip! when you go to a claw machine place that also has ticket games ask an attendant if you can use tickets to get prizes from the claw machines. some places let you do that and it's way more satisfying to have a guarantee on getting the prize you want

If you went to Seaside which is where the Jersey Shore was filmed you would probably have different thoughts. All of our beaches are beautiful except for that one, but the boardwalk is somewhat cool
