One thing I failed to understand about vloggers from Western countries is that for them India is only about Mumbai Delhi and Agra and nothing beyond, and in Mumbai they see only the slums of Dharavi , the dhobi ghat , and a few touristy places and fall into pre conceived assumptions about how poor and underdeveloped India is. So in that sense vloggers like you are doing a wonderful job showing us places like the beautiful garden City of Bangalore which is an Indian city with a class of its own. Sure, Mumbai and Delhi are unparalleled but Bangalore stands apart from any Indian city. Its weather, its sights, sounds, smells and people make a great experience for a tourist.

Yep some westerners see only the time warped 1950s India and ignore today's India. There are two mindsets in this world bro. The progressive and the regressive mindset. The same progress applies to Indians who focus on a more innovative and dynamic India for all!

We kannadigas lovely call him 'APPU'.

He also helped Karnataka government by promoting dozens of Karnataka welfare schemes by advertising and didn't receive single rupee for that.
He died recently(Oct 29th😭) and lives in crore of kannadigas heart❤.

I am glad you made it to Bangalore, now renamed BENGALURU. I am aware this was a year ago, but I am getting to watch the videos only now.
The story of Holi is very important and relevant to all Hindus. But it is the people in the northern part who celebrate it rather boisterously. However, in the urban centres of southern India too, you will find people playing with colours and most of them are locals. But of course, there are a lot of northerners all over, including Bengaluru, who celebrate it with zest. Holi is also celebrated in the corporates all over India as a communication event and tool.
The poppadum you ate is made of lentils, salt and asafoetida and is called in Karnataka as HAPPALA and Tamil Nadu as APPALAM. In the north, it is called PAAPAD.
Curds are an integral part of our meals from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. But in the south mostly, we finish our every lunch and dinner with curd rice and pickle. What you ate was mostly a north Indian meal. But he has given you a watered down version of plain curd for eating at the end with rice.
You may already know, but you don't have to make do with the Sambhar and Chutneys served at the beginning of the meal. You can ask for more and enjoy your food in a fulfilling manner.
Dates are grown in India too and I am sure she won't be serving you imported fruits 😊! The cactus fruit is Guava, which Indian children start eating right from their school days.
Bengaluru used to be one of the cleanest and quietest cities of India, but not anymore. A year since your visit, it has changed quite a bit, so please visit again.
It is always a pleasure to watch your videos and you deserve to have many more subscribers. All the best 🙏

As a tourist to India and Bangalore , I like the Majestic bus station , it is very huge and people there are very attentive there , they follow me and try and help me .
At Park Rd in Bangalore , the taxi driver took 1000 rupees off me and said he had to get change before the journey , he disappeared with the money and I never saw him again , the driver parked behind him said he would drive me to where he was , to get the change instead he dumped me in an isolated place and he also disappeared .
When in Bangalore near the Majestic bus station , I went to about 30 hotels and not one would take a booking for me , it appears that in Bangalore , the hotels have to register international tourists in a book that the police check on daily , instead I had to go to a five star hotel to get a room .
So I think it is a good idea to pre-book your hotel room on on-line , if you want to stay in Bangalore .

In south India, you don't have to worry they treat you like a family member. holi is not celebrated in south India only in north India this festival is celebrated. people in Bangalore if they are celebrating are obviously not south Indians they are probably from the north. If you come north Bangalore there are many visiting places like Nandi Hills, Historic Temples etc. try visiting.

Please visit Kailasa Temple in Ellora Caves at Aurangabad, Maharashtra India. It's considered greatest architecture in history of mankind, because the way it was built seems unbelievable for even today’s time. The temple was built at least 1300 years ago. No stone or nothing was added they carved a mammoth Granite rock/mountain with intricate details. The Kailasa Temple is notable for its vertical excavation-carvers started at the top of the original rock and excavated downward . At least 400000 tonnes of stones have been removed in the process. About 7000 workers and their future generations worked for 135 years. One small mistake and you have to rebuild the whole temple because it's carved into the rock without adding anything, that too up to down.
kailasa temple secret underground tunnels believed to be leading to underground city which is even more mysterious and government have totally locked that down and no researchers are allowed to go inside.
During the reign of Mughal emperor, Aurangzeb, the temple was ordered to be demolished along with other temples nationwide.
For the task in 1682 he sent over 1000 labourers especially to destroy Kailasa Temple; they worked for over 3 years, but could barely manage to disfigure a few statues here and there. It's the solid granite rock that's made so hard to destroy.
Despite of his repeated efforts to tear down Kailasa Temple, Aurangzeb did not found success . Finally he gave up on destroying this temple . This is the same man who has destroyed thousands of ancient temples in India but he could not destroy this one so you can understand the the magnanimity of the temple.
other than Kailasa Temple there are 99 other cave temples there (100 total) of which 34 are open for public viewing. whole temple complex known at Ellora Caves.

@@sunithastehly9943 At least he 's making an effort to understand the culture. Appreciate that part. Perfection is another part of life. He doesn't despise the culture but respects it. He is not critical. Moreover he is a guest in India as an international traveller. I'm not perfect either.

There 4 states that r nearby Bengaluru, d capital of Karnataka. If I'm not mistaken, on d south of d state is Tamil Nadu, on d east is Kerala n Goa, n on d north is Madya Pradesh. Kerala is famous for d sailing on d backwater on a traditional Keralan boathouse. I think u might like wandering around Goa. I've not been to d east site of India n have not visited Kolkata. I've only visited d other 4 of d 5 biggest cities in India, Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru n Chennai. Goa is quite a pleasant state. 🙂
