Matilda visits Océanopolis in Brest

Our tour through Brittany with Heidi, Leander and Matilda we stopped in Brest to visit the Océanopolis Ocean Discovery Park. Both a public aquarium and a scientific research station, Océanopolis is unique in Europe. In three huge facilities you can go on a world tour of the oceans, to learn more about temperate, polar and tropical marine environments. There was so much to discover, Océanopolis is home to over 1,000 different species and 10,000 animals which are held in more than 4 million litres of sea water in 77 aquaria.
We started our journey through Bretagne in Nantes ( • Matilda visits Nantes ) before heading to Rennes ( • Matilda visits Rennes ) followed by stops in Saint Malo ( • Matilda vists Le Mont ... ) and Roscoff ( • Matilda visits Roscoff ).

I can highly recommend the Oceanopolis, it's super interactive and the aquariums are very impressive.
