I got the idea for this along time ago, but I finally did it and also the actual Stone Ocean teaser trailer was released 2-3 weeks ago so yeah

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Japanese: ジョジョの奇妙な冒険, Hepburn: JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. It was originally serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1987 to 2004, and was transferred to the monthly seinen manga magazine Ultra Jump in 2005. The series is divided into nine story arcs, each following a new protagonist bearing the "JoJo" nickname. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is Shueisha's largest ongoing manga series by volume count, with its chapters collected in 130 tankōbon volumes as of May 2021. It's a story about the Joestar Family going through very bizarre adventures. With each part you have a new main protagonist. Every single one of them has a very different personality, with many interesting villains and side characters! With funny, sad and interesting situations. It is truly one of the greatest manga/anime series of all time.
That's kind of crazy to see how long jojo hasn't had an anime adaptation, they TEASED part 1 while part 8 was being written

Actually they had an OVA of Stardust Cruzaders in the 90s, but it was just Stardust Crusaders. And i haven't watched it, but i think is not complete, they skip some parts in Stardust Crusaders (it has only 13 episodes).

Imagine being a fan of the manga for years and seeing Star Platinum animated for the first time
second time, don't forget the OVAs. i feel like they are the reason the Part 3 anime is as long as it is
They actually adapted pretty early on in the 90s, it doesn't get brought up because it's just so old but it's there
Even with OVAs considered, it was amazing. DavidPro's anime was everything I could've ever wanted as a fan of the manga since the mid-00s.

It think it’s a cool choice for the part 2 villain to make it seem like Straizo is the main villain for this part I enjoy that they only hint to the pillar men

90%? Parts 7 and 8 have around the same amount of volumes as Parts 1-5 combined, it's more like 65% complete

not even close, at the most like 70% complete. part 7 and 8 are very long, and part 9 will take up a significant amount as well

Blaming it all on netflix is childish. Davidpro should have known the anime wouldn't be ready for the date the contract stipulated and that the schedule would fuck up the fanbase interaction yet they went in anyways knowing. Also them not putting their A team in charge of stone ocean tells you enough about the executives at DP. That and them not having it ready for the release date (thus rushing production) gave us the fucked up adaptations. Netflix didn't force it unto them, the higher ups at DP saw the terms and agreed

Yeah me too. I'd say it's the best one so far. Josuke's Theme is a such an underrated gem, and so is Crazy Diamond as a Healer Stand, and Josuke as a relatable JoJo.

Ig ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, but that one fit the "Teaser" theme a bit more for me. The Jolyne silhouette was more like a reveal that it will indeed be animated

Part 5 teaser has the best music and visuals ong.
it’s insane how JoJo got a proper anime adaptation on its 25th anniversary, in 2012; JoJolion was in its first few volumes at the time. Stone Ocean’s anime adaptation finished in 2022 and the first issue of The JoJolands was at the start of 2023. the anime is catching up quickly, but SBR and JJL are huge parts, so i bet they’ll have more episodes per season.
By counting volumes only, the first half of all jojo is everything before FF's first appearance. It may seems they're catching up because there's only two more parts to adapt, but they haven't adapted two thirds of Jojo yet.

I'll forever believe Netflix had little to do with it, a year later retrospectively, and it was the Not Great adaptation of an already Not so Great part. I feel it would've been even worse if it was released weekly given how slow it is.

I love how each one is distinctly different. Just like the parts.
Part 5 has got to be my favorite. The music and visuals are perfect, and I love how they didn’t use any scenes from the anime. It’s not “secretive” per se, but showing them with different colors and their stand abilities, then showing what they’ll look like in the anime was so smart. Even watching this years after I watched the anime, I still feel like I’m seeing it for the first time. I can’t imagine the feeling people who read Golden Wind felt when this dropped. Pure fucking hype
I became a jojo fan after all the parts came out. I cannot imagine how it felt to watch these teasers for the first time, I would've lost my mind lmao. Still hoping for steel ball run adaptation.

Unfortunately the times i knew about JoJo parts 1-5 was already animated but thankfully I gotten into the JoJo Manga and read parts 6-8 in time for Part 6 animation im just glad ive became a JoJo fan i just love everything about it, now Part 9 is here and im rereading all the manga from parts 1-8 to hopefully be in time for part 7 (Best Manga style btw)
David productions may nota animate part 7, the director for their adaptation from part 1 to 6 Said it Is to complicate to animate Horses AND he would not take that risk. Plus after stone ocean he quit the studio.

It has just gone on my radar that this video has blown up, and it has gone past my radar that, I've made quite a lot of mistakes while working on this video. Maybe when the Part 7 teaser drops, I'll remake it (🙏 coping) I apologise for my grammatical errors, english isn't my first language. Althought I'd like to think, I've improved these past 2 years ☠️

Unfortunately I’ve only been a JoJo fan since the beginning of 2021 so I was only their for the hype of the part 6 anime and the part 9 manga hype, so this was my first time watching most of these and man did part 2 and 4’s look really cool. Can’t wait for the future of the series

It's cause the others had scenes made for the teasers themselves while everything for Stone Ocean was from the anime. Part 6 got done so dirty in so many aspects :(

This just reminds me that part 6 had a really weak announcement. like.. ik its the only one to really get a traditional proper trailer on announcement but i'd rather have had a styled custom made teaser like parts 1, 3, 4 and 5, or a cool high tempo stylised trailer like part 2 that give off the vibe of the part really well without spoiling much.
