This $35 accessory I bought has taken me from someone who was so frustrated with my LabRadar that I sold my first one to buying another LabRadar and now loving every minute.

Totally agree. The combo of using the app and using the JKL trigger takes the Labradar from “a little better than the Magnetospeed” to “hands down, way better”.
Bingo!
Recently partnered with a friend to purchase a Labradar. Initially we were frustrated with the unit missing 100% of shots when shooting with a suppressor. The JKL trigger works!! Thanks for the recommendation!!
Awesome! Glad it helped.
John best thing i ever bought
For the TR guys, you can attach them to your bipod, and swap rifles around that way. Works super well for me.
I just got my trigger from JKL today, amazing difference. Thanks for the recommendation.
It woks perfectly, a kind of sensitive. Thanks
Amazing the technology now a days.....and I mean actual days, technology changes so quick lol. Thanks John
I just got the trigger and since I installed it I haven’t missed a shot. I’d also recommend this product. Thanks for doing a video on it John.
I also have this trigger and haven't missed a shot. I also picked up some of JKL's Pic mounts and they work great on my assorted MSRs.
Thanks John. I've missed a few shots from my LabRadar. Just ordered the Trigger for it.
Hope it works as well for me, mine is in the mail. I've had no issues with pistols of any calibur and no issues with 223/556. 6.5 creedmoor I started missing shots on a 100 yard range, so hopefully
this will do the trick.
Best accessory for the Lab. Haven't missed a shot since.
Excellent!!
Great recommendation, love it I do load development in a indoor range and wasn’t get some of the reading but when I connect this up we are you to go thanks again!
I’m so glad it’s working well for you. Like I said before it definitely brought me back in love with my LabRadar. I know not everybody faces the same problems but for those that do this thing is a lifesaver.
Just got a labradar at last!!! Great tip there John I was wondering how I was going to use the trigger on my fclass stock. Trusty ole velcro to the rescue
He made a comment about changing source from Doppler to Trigger. The labradar instructional video states that Trigger should always be used unless a large slow projectile is used. i.e. paintball?
Thanks John. I have struggled for the past month with the labradar. Hope this works!
Thanks for the video and recommendation!
How do you like the SEB rest? I was thinking of getting a joy pod, but wasn’t sure if it’s as functional as it is beautiful
I'm wondering if Velcro has more latency to trigger time than using a 3M EZ Pass strip?
You sold me. thanks!!!
Any idea if this would work also on crossbows or archery equipment?
John, New subscriber here. Just got a lab radar and I have watched all your related videos on it. I took it out for it's maiden run to do a 20 shot ladder test. The unit worked great, however, when I downloaded the data it recorded 52 shots. All the settings were correct on the unit including the Trigger setting with the JKL Trigger unit properly placed. All 20 of my shots were recorded mixed in with 32 other recorded shots. Any suggestions?
what are the distances you set your labradar to pick up speeds?
GM I just bought the trigger. Any installation recommendation?
I always use mine and never miss a shot, unless I aimed the labradar wrong.
For 100 yards, what yardages do you have the LR set to? I normally have muzzle to 100. Wouldn’t it make sense to like the LabRadar up with the Lizzie for proper distance?
I just do 10,20,30,40 etc. I'm not tracking for BC or anything so I honestly don't care. What you set it for has nothing to with how accurate it is according to them.
Do you think that this trigger could be used for a Palma sling shooter like myself if I attached it to the handstop?
Maybe, but it will record a lot of false shots that you'll have to delete most likely.
So mine came this week and I couldn't be happier. I played around with the sensitivity settings slightly but what is everyone running for sensitivity?
I think I've got mine running on 1 or 2. Glad it's working great for you!!
Would mounting that trigger to a bipod work? I don't want to put velcro on every rifle I own..
Probably but it would depend on how much your bipod moves. You could test and see.
Nice video. With that setup, does the labradar need to be on a stand? If yours is on a stand, what stand is it?
it can be on any kind of tripod or base, it just can't stand on it's own.
Did you change any of the basic settings when you added the JKL trigger?
Here's a video I did on my settings ua-cam.com/video/CTKPXJqLrfg/v-deo.html
John, I'm getting a Labradar for Christmas and the trigger will now be a part of it! I understand the use and principal behind it but you mention placement of the radar unit itself is not critical. Does this also mean aiming the unit (V notch) is also not critical or does the V-notch need to be aimed at the target (100 yards)?
You still need to worry about aiming, it just becomes a little less critical is all but you will want to make sure you set it up consistently (in terms of relative position) so that all your sessions are more aligned. And yes, still need to basically point at the target but I've also played with it pointing in other directions and it works, but it will change readings which is why I say to pick a setup and stick with it so it's consistent.
@@FClassJohn Thank you for the detailed reply John! Keep up the great work!
would it work for pistols??
Hello John. Does labradar air gun trigger do same thing?
I’m not sure but I don’t think so.
FYI, Labradar says these triggers cause inaccurate results.
Of course they would, they don't sell them.
I made my own from a SW18010-P switch and 3.5mm female socket ($5 total). Tested it with two Labradars, one either side and they both were the same.
what's difference between the JKL and the Piet trigger?
As far as I know virtually nothing other than the form factor. They both do the same thing.
Anyone know where I can pick up a switch like that in Canada? Is it just a force switch?
I don't remember where I saw it but there's 'instructables' out there somewhere that show you have to get the accelerometer or whatever it is and make your own. I bet with a little google-fu you could find it. The parts are readily available on Amazon.
@@FClassJohn Thanks, I did manage to find a post about it and it confirms what I thought. The components are easy to get so I have ordered enough to make several for myself since no one will ship to Canada.
@@russelldee680 awesome!
WOULD THE AIRGUN OR ARCHERY TRIGGERS FROM LABRADAR WORK IN THE WAY?
I haven't used either of those but my understanding is that they work differently.
I have air gun /archery trigger. It a clip on mike JKL to my understanding is a motion switch . Just ordered JKL thanks
What bottom mount is on that LabRadar?
Just a couple pieces of metal I put together. I actually need to get one of ArckoMatt's stand, it would be more stable and is the best out there. arkcomachine.com/shop?olsPage=products%2Fquad-base-use-for-lab-radar
Awesome video! Any idea on its ability to feel the recoil of 22s?
Thank you. As far as .22 goes I honestly don’t know. Sorry.
Works great on my 15lbs 22lr
No doubt that the recoil triggers are a nice addition, but you really should be using the trigger mode and not the doppler mode even when you are not using an external sensor. I'm no expert but my understanding is that using doppler it will look for a bullet flying in it's radar covered path. Trigger mode (without an external sensor) will use the built-in microphones. So far, I haven't had too much trouble using the trigger mode and internal sensor at the range with other shooters near by. I also found out that you can build your self a trigger with a simple shake switch available online, if you are into DYI. Check out this thread: www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/labradar-recoil-trigger-diy.872618/
Thank you for the information.
Out of stock. I guess you bought the last one.
😂 Nah I’ve had mine for a while. I’ve seen it go in and out stock a lot lately. Just keep checking in with them.
Thanks John, good advise... payback is almost immediate- can you update with a link to the manufacturer? 👍 ps, You weren’t kidding those are some very serious concrete baffles... I’m assuming that’s to prevent shots from exiting the Range… What club are you shooting at? Thanks for your post!

@@leoburns9674 I had it in the description already but it was one line too low to see on the main page. I moved it up
That’s not a rifle, it’s a freaking cannon!!!
Sell your Labradar, get a Garmin and this kinetic trigger fix will no longer exist.
Did that the first day it came out...
Anyone tried this on a handgun?
I don’t know anybody personally but given how it works I have to imagine it would actually work the same way if not better because of recoil.
F-Class John Thanks for the reply.Subed
