To bypass the Auto-Stop... put it in drive, then put it in "L"... low-gear and then hit the (+) button until it goes through all 9 gears. Auto-stop disengaged.

BlakesCars2 I'm not 100% positive it works in the terrain, but I know it works on the traverse and acadia, wouldn't see it being any different on the terrain though, but who knows.
honestly hard to believe this is a GM product because when you compare it to what they were cranking out just 3 years back its a huge improvement. That being said, the worst part about it is that god damn shift gear manually button and the size of the screen in relation to the center vents lmao
azera55555 They won’t follow through. Plus I’m another 15 years away from buying an actual new car so I’m not too worried. Aside from ford doing this strictly out of cost savings, I get it. Most of the cars from ford are of old design. Again, I’m not too bothered by it.
thecarexpert21 I would’ve liked to have seen her get a CPO Lincoln but she wanted to lease. So then it was gonna be an escape SEL but the GMC popped up and was way cheeper and ended up being nicer in the end.

It is a great vehicle. I am always amused by car reviews that talk about cheap interior materials. I just spent a week in a Subaru Forester. My Terrain is superior in just about every way. Better powertrain, better interior, better infotainment. We would never hear that from a biased car "reviewer' like you are.
JPCJ To be fair, everyone is copying everyone and in result all the cars look alike. So I wouldn’t say they copied Honda because if they copied anyone they copied Volvo. It’s a common design theme among all the new GMs.

They are nice vehicles I have the v6 sle model it's got 300hp it super fast...handles nice lots of room

The toggle switches for R and D are so stupid IMO. I bet GM will but in a traditional shifter for the refresh whenever that comes.
Seems like a nice car. I'd consider one. Especially with $10k off MRSP.
The only negative is the Auto Start/Stop. How smooth is it during transitions?

I have the 6 speed 1.6 diesel Terrain. And yes, setting mine to L6 bypasses the auto start/stop feature.
