I had a 2018 Equinox for about 20 months. When I saw a 2019 Terrain advertised for $21,999, I called my Chevy salesman and he handled the sale with the GMC dealer. I walked in, got exactly what I told the Chevy salesman to tell the GMC dealer, signed the paperwork and in less than two hours I drove my new Terrain home. I had no idea what color it was going to be until I saw it and am totally happy with the Steel Blue. Only took two days to stop reaching for the shifter. So far very happy with my pirchase. Stylish and affordable!

Well we have owned ours since September, so far my wife and I like it, we both own a Ford Explorer Sport Trac each to say what we have owned in the past as well as 2 F150’s....
2 things I have some issue with is the traction control and how sensitive it is, under passing with slippery roads it trips the check engine light as well as the traction indicators, the 2nd is no Diesel option for the Denali other wise, the Terrain has been a great fit for us....

Anyone who purchases one of these (2018 Terrain) just purchased a nice boat anchor. I own a 2012 SLT-1 AWD and in my opinion a far superior vehicle. I have only sat in one of these at the Philly Auto Show. The front seat bases are too short and uncomfortable, the roof is too low, I banged my head rather badly while adjusting myself into the driver's seat, and there is not enough leg room ( I am only 5'8"). I found that my 2012 has way more supportive seats, and has way more leg room. The rear bench now longer moves, which limits the leg room for the rear seat passenger. GM has taken an outstanding vehicle that sold hundreds of thousands, and created a piece of junk!!

So you sat in one an auto show and have reached these conclusions? lol. I am 6-2; we have a 2020 Terrain and let me assure youtubers that the Terrain has plenty of head room and leg room. It is very comfortable on a long road trip. But I guess by sitting in one at an auto show you know more than those of us who drive them.

@@donb1183 I compared the 2020 Terrain to my 2012. I adjust the seat so iit is at the highest height, as far as leg room I never stated it was insufficient. The leg room is very generous. My issue is that with the seat adjusted high, the console in the roof was too low. I got quite a bump on my head. For me the seat base was too short, the edge of the seat cut across the middle of my thigh making it most uncomfortable. I am only 5'7", 67 years young, and a Gearhead. I grew up in the auto business. I look for things in a vehicle others do not. I have test driven a Terrain, an Acadia, Chevy Trailblazer, Traverse, and Equinox. The vehicles all have the same shortcomings...,.seatbases that are uncomfortable due to being too short. My 2012 Terrain SLT-1 AWD, my 2015 Subaru Outback Limited, and my 2013 Mustang convertible V6 Premium have deep seats that you can sit back in with your body fully supported. If you enjoy your Terrain, more power too you. If the vehicle you purchase checks all the boxes for you; you hit a home run. My vehicles are all a pleasure to own.
