I'm thinking about getting one of these. But I'm concerned about replacement parts. How well do they hold up? And have you had to get replacement parts? How easy were they to come by and where did you have to get them?

Very sensitive spur and pinion gears like the first editions. The first editions have brushed pinion gear is like the kind of metallic golden gears that destroy the plastic spur gear after while. The first edition i drove the monster truck, after some full throttles in shiny tile ,the pinion gear destroyed the spur gear. Very poor design as i see from the pinion and spur gears from the bag. The only they changed is the new shell's. If you drive hard this model you will see how easily the gear's destroyed, unless they have change the quality if the gears but i don't believe it. I am afraid to buy it again. I just throw it in a plastic box after some few minutes of driving in shiny tiles. If it brakes in shiny tiles imagine how easily brake in good grip ground.
