I always found it cliche when people tell artists that their music saved them, ya know? well a few years back one of his lyrics has been in my head everyday and I just celebrated 2 years clean on Jan 19th. Unfortunately I dont have family or a support system, which means some days are HARD. but I damn sure am going to keep " doing whatever it takes so my daughter wont ever see me high."

I love it, just getting sober after having over ten years sobriety. Than just switched addictions to work, since I got full custody of my two sons. Just lost my youngest to a house fire along with his friend. My son died running into a burning house. Past the cops and fireman. Picked up his friend and he ran back out of the house on fire. My son passed on the front lawn. Our friend was airlifted and passed 5 hours later. 80 percent of both boys bodies were burned

13 songs ago I was at my lowest mind set due to that whole mother disowning me and me relapsing and losing hope n faith and all that. I had nothing left to do that i felt i had power for,so for the 1st time ever I prayed, wiped my tears again for the umpteenth time, and decided to end all existence UA-cam opened and your drug addiction song was ironically the first video on my page and I had never heard of u or any of that... I prayed for a sign I should continue my life. Then I prayed for a sign on what to do next and it lead me to "come back home" that one REALLY got me when u hit the line about making the sister proud. My babysister is my WORLD! But the biggest tear jerker I had was EVERY word in the second verse. That told me I can be saved and I'm worthless....feels like nobody wants me cause I have noone BUT these badthings here...my own mother even left me behind i cant win this im so scared but im counting on this song to carry me through this giant step im terrified to take

Colicchie , your songs are amazing man, I am at the beginning of my recovery day 597 off alcohol like you I nearly died in hospital alcohol destroyed my pancreas organs I took overdose thankfully they saved me spent long time in hospital, before this happened I was in and out of prison mental health issues lost my father , then I had a beautiful boy he's now 10 I ended up in prison when he was 3 and my ex lost him to temporary foster care because she was hard on drink too, so when I got released I did everything I could sober the services wouldn't work with me I gave up selfishly but my mental health deteriorated missing my boy , but now I am 597 days sober fighting for him to come home I am doing well this time I have a court appearance alcohol hasn't crossed my mind I miss my boy so mentally I am working on that , but your songs man help me to just relax think before I do things so heart felt I've been on a long journey and your songs have helped absolutely inspiration you are COLICCHIE, and well done to you ALSO you probably won't see this as I live in ENGLAND but your music is amazing man and helps me on Dark Dark days I will continue to be clean and fight for my boy , wish you all the best too God bless you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. Hey Blake....I'm from the Ohio Valley, I lived just about an hour outside of Pittsburgh. Knew it was time, past time, for my ass to gtfo or drowned in the evil cesspool, just like "so many" others...too many others..MY others...personally, I couldn't let one more, last memory, be that of me in full blown panic mode ,fighting for their last breath.. .. 16 years of opioid addiction (thanks Doc)but labeled polysubstance abuser, so,apparently addicted to several narcotics. Might've spotted my sub clinic in the video even...haven't mused or skipped an appointment in 2.5 years... I'm goin' into day 8 this morning, with zero subutex for breakfast & a sign, outside the spot I'm at, that reads "shoot your local heroin dealer" ... not sure I'm strong enough to make it through it this time ...

I've never had an addiction with drugs I just smoke weed but, I have had friends that were on it, I just about lost one but the paramedics revived him and he took off running through the woods as soon as he could breathe... He's clean now but people don't know the feeling of seeing one of your best friends laying on the ground with a pale face, blue lips and no pulse. Having to be the one to call the ambulance. I showed him your music now he's a dedicated fan too, he's been clean for over a year now and I just want to thank you Colicchie, thank your for your music and everyone that it helped.
