    why do I feel like this video was intentionally made super long

    • @localman4230
      @localman4230 4 роки тому +23

      Zero efficiency of communication. The section about level one and level two was maddening. Then the ads in there obviously this is a monetization technique. The style appeals to the very low denominator as a result. Water seeks it's own level.

    I see lots of people are joking about the flow of this video, but honestly im assuming his target audience is "Beginner Traders". Fantastic job of breaking down depth of market. I watched many other videos on this topic and yours by far in my opinion is the best. The examples really helps the information stick. Thank you,
    Sincerely a beginner trader

    well explained. yes for the people that are complaining that it took too long, and that he explains it as a first grade teacher, but guess what. not everyone learns the same way. so he is making sure that even beginners or slow learning people get the concept. well explaining this sir.

    You can change the qty buttons and the up and down increments. You do this in the main application settings, up at the very top right. That’s where you change defaults.

    GOAL: 60 per day, 2 trades a day ONLY... Using Boiler Call Out for GOOS I shorted and made 72.00 in two seconds. THEN!!! I broke my rule of the day by self imposing a loop hole by realizing I had one trade left according to my plan. I shorted GOOS again and got chainsawed by market price. I am down 160.00. Strategy : I slowed myself down and studied DOM carefully which showed a slight pull back and MP started to slow. I read market price carefully and realized its going up NOW according to buyer seller activity in market depth. I jumped for LONG and pushed through my (160) until I hit 70 then flattened with a final fill of 102!!! Market Depth DOM saved my butt ... I only wish that ToS could move more quickly with DOM market price. I had to manually chase price to make my moves. Great call out ... great vid. LESSON LEARNED: Target Price Hit over writes trade quantity.

  • @burlesoa
    @burlesoa 4 роки тому

    If you set the quantity and then click in the bid or ask column it puts an order there for that many shares. If it's going up fast, you can drag the order higher and the order changes to the level you drag it to. Same for going down on other side. I put a buy in and then a matching sell 1 second later at a higher price. I can be in and out in literally seconds. I think that's way more important than explaining supply vs. demand. More buyers than sellers = going higher. If you stare at a really active stock for a while you "get it".

    Were you high, buddy? This is hysterical. Here's a direct quote from the video:
    "The market price is always always always always, don't be fooled by some other trader telling you differently. Please listen to this carefully. I should make a disclaimer but I'm not going to. Anywhooo, the market price, remember this, because everybody has it backwards, the market price is always always always in between the bid and the ask price. Ok. That is the market price. When you buy market, you are literally buying between the bid and the ask price. Always. For a fact. How do I know that? Because I've been trading for a long time."
    Sorry, but this just cracked me up.

    What is Level 3?
    Level 3 is the highest level of quotes provided by a trading service and gives the institution the ability to enter quotes, execute orders and send information. Level 3 service is restricted to National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) member firms that function as registered market makers.
