Hey there, I have been trading for about a few months now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take(I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?

as a rookie myself today was a very easy trading day, especially if you're a bear. I made over 4k on NQ shorts. Go short at open, make $. These aren't good days for good examples of trading IMHO, but hey, a W is a W.

Good job Carmine. It would have been better not to look at the screens again until tomorrow. Controlling FOMO is where pros rise above the rest. There was a shorting opportunity at 24, but you have a life. You have to live that as well. There are always other trades.
I got $3450 today. It was a very nice day on the afternoon. Sell off. i got home at 12:15 est
How many points and lot size
These gurus need to start talking about thier account sizes also when they talk about thier profits becuz most ppl out here are starting with $500-$1000 accounts and are under the impression that they can consistent;y make these "Large Gains" with these small acoounts..too many ppl flexing large profits and not stating that fact that they either have a large account or they are paper trading...when you know what you are doin and you have a large account paper or live ..its super easy to have these big gains. It extremly difficult to do this with smaller accounts. nobody wants to have this conversation and it needs to be included

I caught most of this after it went through demand because the market felt different. I don't have a real DOM as detailed as the one you use. Is there a section on the course that teaches the Sierra chart or can you recommend someone to help me understand the charting software? I just signed up for it and looking forward to using it and learning more. As always, thanks for what you do, and although I'm not active in Discord I have been a member since you started. (under a different screen name). It's great to see your continued success.

I found the course. I didn’t realize you added more content. Question, if BookMap has the DOM what is missing from it that requires the need Sierra Charts DOM along side BM? Yes, big learning curve with Sierra and it’s more like WIN95 not WINXP (before your time). Your example in the course shows the hidden buyer repeatedly buying the dips until it is finally defended after 10K contracts on a low relative volume day. It was a very insightful nuance you picked up on and I’d like to learn more that. Thanks again.
Man I had a very similar day as far as missing that afternoon drop. Got in short right at the top of where that bounce hit resistance. Had too tight a stop loss, got knocked out and missed the whole fall to the down side. Heartbroken lol

Excelent video !!! now understanding a little bit more the DOM and the delta footprint, I still don`t have the suscription to these platforms (sierra or bookmap) I just still learning and asimilating supply and demand zones, some trades with bar charts in TOS and some first profits made, thanks to your videos Carmine. When I open a trade I can see and ask me why the bars get exausted in some point, there is when I remember your info about the order flow that can be seen in footprints charts.......thanks 👍👍

Sierra Charts. Try to see how other guys set up their Sierra because Carmines looks rather amateur`ish if you ask me. But he makes money and that is what counts right.
I saw a cases like this. Think this method works pretty well, but I recommend to do your own research about it

Carmine you don't talk about $4624.5 level in your initial plan . Maybe you forgot to do it ? . How do you know 4624.5 is the point to enter in short and not when the price reject the supply zone ?
New levels develop as new information is generated by the market. Go with the flows

Awesome trade right at supply. Key levels. I Totally blew again blowing up TopStep account for the 4th time this week like nothing is working for me. I knew where the levels were i was short /nq 15850 took a small winner flip flopped back and forgot stopped out and tried to catch a falling knife so angry with myself. i wasn't even looking at the supply are idiot.

You trade futures via contracts...but they aren't like options contracts.

the big green long candle . they got absorbed and got trapped , then they shit there pants and alot got out , which add fuel to the fire as they have to sell lto get out , respect for putting on 10 contracts ,

Someone tell me how he can tell what the support or resistance levels are? Is it just based off the volumes?
You base it on where price is usually rejected (resistance) and where it usually bounce off of.. (Support)
