To think God of war took the GOTY award from RDR2, makes me wish 2018 should have had 2 game of the year, I love both of them with my whole heart, but I would give RDR2 a bit more respect because its probably the best game ever made, yet. Ghost of tsushima really deserved the GOTY. I really loved the last of us 2 but all the new things that Ghost of Tsushima gave is priceless. Horizon zero dawn should have won GOTY that year in IMO, it was completely new IP and the world and story was so well written.

Well i think god of war was better than rdr2 imo, because the no camera cuts, less glitches,epic boss fights, and the traverse and linear gampley was what most people enjoyed as it was a better nomination for GOTY than rdr2 not saying RDR2 was bad

These are all great runner up titles. I can't say much about RDR2 because I never got too far into it but I hear it is a great game. Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding are the only two titles I personally think should have taken the GotY instead. Nice video though.

RDR2 should have beaten GOW. Look, I love Bloodborne and have the hunters mark tattooed on me but no, it shouldn't win over Witcher 3 in anyway at all. Horizon zero dawn is boring af and does nothing worthy of GOTY, its side content is poorly acted and amounts to nothing at all ( unlike Witcher 3 where some of the side content is almost like a main questline and has loads of little details ) its world is empty af and only filled with your generic ubi soft stuff. Its honestly just a generic ubi game but ubi didnt make it. The story really isnt as good as you are making it out to be lol and visuals mean nothing at all. Ghosts is the same thing but I actually found that game to be at least good, but again its not GOTY worthy at all. Ill be honest though TLOU 2 doesnt deserve it at all, its story is so badly written and awfully paced its like an entire different team did it compared to the first one. Death stranding is a huge no, sekiro deserved it far more. BG3 deserved it far more and its very easy to see why if you sit down and play it. Play it more than once and you will be surprised by how many different things happen due to choices.

I haven't played Ragnarok yet but I played ER and later GoW 2018 for the first time this year, if I'd played GoW first I wouldn't have bothered with ER and I would've got Ragnarok, if it's as good as 2018 I already know I'm gonna like it way more than ER.
