Is it that good? I was a few hours into in and didn't like the combat, everything felt clunky, and I just didn't have enough interest to go any further. I keep hearing people rave about it. Maybe I will take another look.
@hannible1002 okay thanks. I'll give it a to. I read one person write "it is such a great game, I wish I never played it so I could play it for the first time". This game must open up in a big way!
Would have wished to experience the twist in Banishers myself. But anyway, I am not too sensitive when it comes to spoilers. Better add a warning fpr others, though 😉
Kingdom Come is incredible. I bought it last week it has blown me away. It is so immersive its crazy. You have to pay attention to all the details and really live the character. It is by far the most realistic game I've ever played. So cool.
Whats also cool is that they very accurately designed the area and the cities and towns up to the streets and buildings. There are many videos here from people who went to bohemia and made "game vs real world" videos and its great how accurateley warhorse studios designed this world. Im really happy they are working on part 2 now.
@@theBeT95metro exedous was pretty one dimensional. It hols on to the mistakes of the series and ultimately feels like a mishmash of borrowed ideas that aren't put together well enough for a sequel.
Kingdom Come Deliverance has been such a pleasant surprise. I got it for $4 on xb. The music dials the immersion up to 10. Normally I turn the music off, but it’s perfect on this game.
13:32 When I first played KC:D, I gave up within a few hours. I later went back to it and actually stuck with it. Being on a console, I lack the benefits of having mods to help me when it comes to UI etc. Learning the bow tho, I found a neat trick and saw that others done this too. Before swapping over to bow or anything else, you will see a dot in the center of the screen. If you take a tiny piece of paper or whatever and stick it over the dot that is the same size, you can use this to aim and practice your bow skills and level them up. You can practice at the place in one of the bigger towns that have three targets and its used as an archery tournament. If you select practice, you will have unlimited arrows and if you begin right as it opens, you can practice until it closes. You can also bet money on yourself later on when you enter. Practicing sword play is even easier. When you go into the square to practice moves, instead of doing the actual moves they want you to do, you can just keep swinging and the weapon you have will level up your skill with that weapon. Nobody dies as they are practice weapons so you can do this all day too. Potions IIRC, all you need to do is add the ingredients and create, no need to crush stuff, pull the cord 'X' amount of times to raise the fire etc.
I bought Witcher 3 and Metro Exodus at Steam when they were on huge discount, around 80%. I feel like I am doing robbery there. Both are really some of the most immersive games I've experienced. Great main games that accompanied with great DLCs.
Max Payne 3 is a masterpiece… Here are my all time favorites Red Dead Undead Nightmares XCOM Dishonored Journey Bioshock Infinite LA Noire Deus Ex Resistance 3 Bloodborne GTA4: Ballard of Gay Tony
Kingdom Come Deliverance looked fun, but let’s just say I can’t get in a subversive state of mind these days with the job I have now as opposed to a decade ago. Damn federal laws.
Nice choices. You need to tweak the mid levels on your voice recording. You’re getting the “Charlie brown effect”. Just a suggestion. Outside of that, keep up the good work
Thanks for the video.. 3 on here now added to my list. Need to have a break from Night City after hundreds of hours.. Long Live V, Long Live Johnny Silverhand 🤘
I would actually disagree with Mad Max, don´t get me wrong, it´s a good game but not in the top 10. The reason being that it does become extremely repetitive after a while with very little novelty to fill in the blanks, I did enjoy the ride and would recommend it.
Sorry, I am absolutely HOPELESS at bang, bang shoot-em-up games. I don't have any sort of fast reactions. I don't know what buttons to press, what weapons to choose, who to be, what strengths I have, etc. I usually can't get past the door at level 1. I can't find anything, I can't move my character right or left. I can't jump. I can't do anything on these. To imagine how poor I am think of me with no hands, no fingers. I might as well try to play these with my nose!
Could not get into Metro, too many cut scenes. I would’ve preferred it if it was more of a shooter, the storyline gave me the shits and had terrible voice acting. I really wanted to like it, and I’m sure plenty of people will but I found it unbearable and got my money back
I prefer Kingdom Come Deliverance to Witcher 3, which I think is highly overrated. KCD is certainly jankier but Witcher is full of more fluff. The idea that W3 isn't heavy on filler is a myth. I also don't really care for the fantasy setting.
i regret witcher 3 because the devs dont believe in repeatable content. sort of same with cyberpunk - in both games you clear a gang of thugs for a side quest, when you go back days later theres nobody to fight there. boring.
That's because the four games you mention are overrated crap enjoyed only by casual gamers who think they're real gamers. RDR2 had some potential, but in the end failed, Skyrim modded doesn't live up to the hype either.
Extremely misleading on plague tale by the way. You absolutely would have to play the first game before playing this game in order to enjoy it or even understand the overarching plot
Mafia Definitive Edition has by far the most idiotic story rewrites (and also gameplay changes that negatively impact immersion) I have ever seen in a game when it comes to remakes. Just play the original. The gameplay is clunky, but the game will give you better experience. Especially if you played the dumb edition first.
When I saw A Plague Realm in the list. I got it man that your choice is just okayish. The most dumbest game on the list. Such a stupid game can never be made. I think the games worth the money would be like Spider-Man God of War Black Myth Wukong Tomb Raider Series. The Last of Us Assassin Creed (Although I m not a fan of it) Uncharted 4 Far Cry 3 & 4 (Too Old)
Pague Tale was SOOOO boring. I played for a few hours and was done. The challenges were just so dumb. I didn't care one bit about the dumb annoying little kid. Just get Skyrim and have a LOT more fun. Mad Max should have been better than it was. The mechanics were a little clunky for fighting, and once you beat the story, there was nothing to do. But it was still fun. Metro Exodus... Meh. Generic and clunky. It was okay for something to do I suppose.
Gonna have to disagree with you on GoT. I took sooooo many screenshots because the game is gorgeous. But the gameplay is chunky and very ps2 era. I couldn't stand it-
You mean only "action rpg", not single player games. I don't like pure action rpg at all. No crafting, no strategy, linear gameplay and storyline, ... Games with no replayability are never good. Not my cup of tea as "single player games".
Worthless video. Two interesting games in the list. Kingdom come and Max Payne. Others are insults to any gamer and the two left aren't perfect, and every gamer worth his salt knows them and played them in the past. Thanks for wasting my time.
I will say one thing though. I envy you because I could not break it down to fifteen. There's just so many amazing games. Like Metal Gear Solid 3, Super Metroid, Mario Galaxy, Mario Odyssey, TLoU, Pikmin 4, SF6, Forza Horizon 4, Dragons Dogma, Metroid Prime, Fire Emblem Awakening, FF6, Bioshock, which are definitely damn near perfect. There are too many I can think of on my list. I would not put spider man though. I'm sorry, but it had some major screw ups. Stealth missions were bullshit, challenge missions SUCKED And having every single enemy in the game, be able to auto target you within two seconds of starting a fight. No thanks. I played and finished the game. I have no desire to play it again ever. I am playing through Miles Morales, though. I'm enjoying that more. I'm hoping Spider Man 2 is better.

I am quite glad, that 2 out of the 10 games are from the same czech game designer Daniel Vavra. Mafia and Kingdom Come, what a guy :-)

Witcher 3 gave me 230 hours of gameplay...best money I have spent on a game.
if you love a medieval feel, a gritty atmosphere and yet vivid world, A plague tale captures that.
Yep, it was an awesome game,
Banishers is the first game in a long time I’ve actually played through start to finish. It was excellent
Definitely a list worth exploring. Thank you. Surprised Read Dead Redemption 2 didn't make the list. RDR2 has to be the best game ever created.
Honestly some really good suggestions, first I'm hearing about Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, definitely going to be looking at that, keep it up boss!
Yeah me to never heard of it but will defo be adding it to my list.
Banishers was good.
Thumbnail is Death Stranding but it's not mentioned?!?!
Death stranding def deserve to be played but isnt in the video you're right lad
I really enjoyed Max Payne 3. Sad isn't available on PS5
You’ve convince me to wishlist Banishers. Great job!
That was an amazing interview. Extremely thought provoking, thanks.
Loved your list! Sad to see Rdr2 missing tho!
Agree 100%. There is no other game that gave me as much as rdr2. It hits hard and good
The only issue with Mad Max is that it was released on the same day as MGSV: The Phantom Pain, which overshadowed this beautiful game
Good to see that most of the games I have not played are on my todo (purchased) list. But I've added Ghost of Tsushima now, thanks !
Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best open world games made! You will definitely enjoy it if you have never played.
I wish Max Payne 3 would get a remake
Max Payne 3 is awesome.
FINALLY getting more of the kudos it deserves.
this is the best list i have ever seen for single player games. +1 sub
Very good list❤
Thanks 😁
Thank you, excellent choice and so surprised to see single player games which is my thing!!!

I started with Yakuza: Like A Dragon and now I have every single Yakuza game in my library...

cutscene simulator, do you even get to play lel
