Thank you for all these comments I really appreciate them! I'm takin notes on your suggestions to maybe implement them in the future! If this build runs into problems I'll take a look at my notes ^.^
Okay, what I really admire is your effort using incinerate, however it's one of those skills that really needs some love (hopefully in the upcoming buffs for sorcerers). When I first started playing sorc I immediately wanted to try this skill but it just felt really weak compared to other core skills. You need to sacrifice a lot of mobility just to stand there and keep channeling, they've buffed dmg reduction while channeling, but still in some scenarios you can easily die if you make a mistake, especially with all the effects that are happening simultaneously underneath your feet. One mistake and you pop like a balloon. Anyway I'm glad you're having fun, let's see what's in store for us tomorrow during campfire talk.
Thank you! I knew when I saw it I wanted to make a build with it. But you're right, it's definitely a late game thing that needs a lot of help in stats. It also doesn't help that the main reason I chose it is to be a lucky hit machine 😋 I wouldn't complain about Incinerate buffs though. I'll take any extra help I can if I ever go against Lilith. ^.^
@@CoyoteCael yeah man I totally agree, I would love to see meteors pouring down and obliterating everything in sight, hopefully we'll be able to do that soon like with blizzard hahaha.
A bit of a correction: I misspoke on the lucky hit explanation. D4's stats require a degree to understand. Skills have a base chance to lucky hit, lucky hit on gear increases that. When you get a lucky hit the game then rolls what lucky hit effect it is. So in my example it really works like: 16% to get a lucky hit, with a 10% chance for that lucky hit to be a meteor. Getting more lucky hit on gear means raising a skill's chance to roll a lucky hit effect.
Theorycrafting incenerate is pretty fun, I did incenerate/conjures and frozen orb enchantment. For orb to work you have to spam incenerate instead of channel, works fairly well.
Definitely! It just works so uniquely as a spell. If my theory crafting is right, it'll be a monster late game. As good as vulnerable builds? We'll see. It might just be if it gets some buffs. I got my +fire damage up to 1000+% on a build calculator. That aint anything to scoff at. Fingers crossed! 🤞
@@kflash2225 Yeah the biggest question mark with this build is it doesn't use vulnerability. Which is fine by me, I love finding good off-meta stuff to run. But that does mean it's an uphill battle to run. 😅
I played a similar build until t3, switched to blizzard since it's much stronger. I used flamewall and firebolt enchants and got my 3rd combustion trigger from teleport for more reliable damage with lower lucky hit chance, try it out, gl with the build. I'd switch firebolt to meteor with more lucky hit
I'll adjust things once I start hitting some walls. So far all the way through t3 it's been fine. The big thing I am still missing is the lucky hit resource restore. Once I get that woo wee! Imma have Incinerates channel longer than it takes Blizzard to tell us why they changed the dungeon leave to 5 seconds. Hot diggity dog! 🌭
You probably know alot more since this video has come out but incinerates lucky hit chance is per use not per hit. You cannot make its lucky hit chance reach 100%. Meteor doesnt proc enough to make it viable since incinerates lucky hit chance is per use and meteors enchantment is 8% chance. Firewall is much more viable with its enchantment being 25% lucky hit chance. I believe the standing still aspect does not work while channeling. Whatever increase it has thats how much extra damage you do whenever you start your channeling, it does not increase as you channel. If the buff is at 20% when you start channeling, you get that 20% throughout your whole channel. Incinerates tick speed does not increase with attack speed. Through my findings i found it much better for things to happen automatically since i dont not want to stop channeling cause my damage will start back to minimum, that means no skills that require a cast animation (other than hydra of course).Incinerate is very specific on its damage so you need to test it. I have been using it the first season and i love it and its hard to kill me. I can try to answer questions if you have any
If you want to see this build in action, I just used it to defeat Elias! Check it out: ua-cam.com/video/lobiTrDT6g0/v-deo.html

I am going to do an update video on the build to talk about the recent buffs sorc got, once those go live in 1.1.1!

@@CoyoteCael that is the other thing that is good with the frozen orb enchantment, it is 30% chance to give vulnerability.

Incinerate can never reach its max damage if you keep recasting it. It will allways be a minimum damage

Swap Hydra for Firewall so you get firewalls and meteor
I'll keep that in mind. But those hydra buffs they announced look juicy! I'm excited to try the extended hydra duration with 2 hydras.
