I got my set two weeks ago and I love them. They have done wonders for my game I'm hitting straighter and farther with them, they also have a great feeling to them when you hit the ball and they look great. Coming from a high handicapper they are amazing clubs and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Hi Mark, enjoyed your video. I am a 2 handicap player who has always used blade irons. I recently purchased the G25 irons after watching your video and have been delighted with them. I was worried that they would launch too high and would be difficult to shape. This is not the case at all! I can completely agree that these clubs will suit players of all ability levels.
I bought mine about a year ago and I love them. I also took 3 lessons about the same time and I am down a stroke per hole now. Was shooting around 52 for 9 holes and am down to 41 or 42. Thrilled to say the least. I don't have to swing hard to get results, but rather concentrate on clean contact. I'm sold on Ping.
Just bought myself a set of G25s. I was back and forth between Taylormade TP MCs and the PING G25, glad I went with the G25s - such a sleek looking club and it connects with the ball beautifully. Thanks for the video Mark, helped in my research.
Went for a fit yesterday with an open budget and tried Mizuno EZ (forged and standard), Titliest AP1, Ping i25 and G25 - came out of the store with G25 - they feel so easy to hit ! (No handicap yet - playing 4 months, best score 118). Another good video - Mark is the only golf guru i ever watch on youtube. Fixed my chipping and putting so many thanks!
Just now ordered a set after trying the new Gmax I irons G30's and G25's were just as good if not better than the G30's the new ones just have jacked up loft which yes it went further but I'll just reach for the next club up if I want more distance 524$ on sale right now...fitted! Can't wait to get them! Thanks keep up the good videos.
Got fitted for these by the PGA pro at my club on Tuesday and my new G25 irons arrived from Ping on the Thursday. First class service. During my fitting I tried every brand and I can honestly say the G25's were by far the easiest to hit and easily added 10 yards to my game. Just want the rain to stop now so I can get back out and hit them!
Had a fitting session tonight at my club with Mizuno JPX 825 strongly in mind and hit them very well, super clubs then tried Ping G25 had to choose the Ping G25 I really wanted the Mizuno's but I felt that I could not hit a bad shot with them. The order is in and I cant wait to get my hands on them. Love the finish and the confidence these clubs give you.
Brought my self a set of these yesterday. Been playing for 7 months and previously owned Ben Sayer M9 starter set. Tested them alongside the G25 (as well as a couple of other clubs) at my local shop on Flightscope and was amazed at the results. The G25 gave me an extra 15yds carry on 7 iron and the dispersion was reduced by over half. Can't wait to go out and play a round with these. Love your videos mark. Definitely one of the first places I come before deciding on which equipment to check out.
after watching this review I went down to the local pro shop and tried them by far the best irons out of the 4 I tried ended up ordering them and picked them up today. Thanks and keep up the good work 👍🏻
Thanks Mark! Like ALL your videos, both equipment reviews and instruction. Just did an in depth fitting last November at Pings Tournament Division where I was fitted for G20's. nothing was said about the 25's so even as an old 55 year old single digit index, I'm staying with the 20's.
Great review and I agree. I hit the G25 today. Feel, look and sound is simply awesome. Next weekend I'll play them against TM Bladez, Callaway xHot and Mizuno JPX825. The winner will go in my bag for 2013.
Great Video! I have just ordered a set of G25 today. I am switching from Mizuno MP 52 which I loved. The G20 driver made my life on course so much easier and I expect the same from these clubs. I will still keep a single MP 69 6 iron in the bag for range work.
I have been using the G15 irons Red-Dot since my last fitting by two independent club fitters. Strangely enough when I contacted PING Support about the G20 irons, they've told me unequivocally not to change my G15. Recently, I've contacted them again about the G25 irons; to which they've replied that I will see a SIGNIFICANT improvement between the G15 v.G25. I've just participated in the PING fitting event at Golf Galaxy in NC. There was a noticeable difference in my distance by 12 yards.
72 years young, playing 10 years 26 Handicap, just bought them and love the feel and the way I can launch them now. Was fitted at a Ping Demo and what a difference in my game. Improving daily.
Hi mark, I just got fitted for the g25s today, I tried the mizuno jpx825, "rocket"bladz, I hit the most consistent shots with the g25s, it felt so good swinging them, I loved the feel of the g25s and the mizuno, I just wasn't as consistent as I was with the g25, thank you so much for the great videos, keep it up you are doing a great job !!!!!!!
I have just been fitted for these 4 days ago, and I can't wait till I get them. I'm from Denmark so it'll take a little time, but the wait is hopefully worth it, I hit some great shots with the irons on the trackman. Currently have the i3 irons, fitted for me like 5-6 years ago, so these should definitly be an improvement! Handicap 11 btw.
I was using a titleist blade for a few seasons but was finding it difficult to get consistent results. Then I watching this video, did some research and was fitted to the G25 black dot U-4. I bought them a week before our local Spring Fling event so I was a little nervous about using them. Long story short, we won our flight, won our Calcutta, and won a skin which came off a brilliant 4 iron shot 215 out to set up for an eagle put! I'm an 11 Handy cap and I love the G25
Tried the G25 at an event fitting and am really impressed. I think it is going to be my choice of club on Feb 14th when they are available. I also tried a couple of others clubs while I was at the store. The Callaway X Hot and the Titleist AP1. I got the most consistent distance with the G25s. The X Hot were about 1/2 club further. The AP1s were the club I expected to put in my bag and I still like them. I was introduced to the Titleist from a Rep at a driving range in San Diego.
I tried g 25 with are steel shaft I hit the ball 20 yards further with a graphite shaft my swing speed what up on average of 10 miles an hour like you said Mark if your swing speed is on the low side it makes a big difference so I went ahead and ordered them with graphite shaft love them thanks Mark keep up the good work
To agree with Manchild815, I have tried these G25 on the simulator and there was very little shot dispersion from striking the ball. Also, you cannot help to feel that you can compress the ball with these irons. I am talking about those sample PRACTICE golf balls that they have at the store. So these clubs definitely warrant a ball-fitting in order to maximize their 'Progressive Heads". Lastly, I can feel the G25's club face when striking the ball which is a great sensation of accomplishment.
One thing I have noticed about my ping irons (I have 3 differents sets ) are that they are built to really last! My year old ping irons still has white writings clearly intact. While my 5 month old mizuno fairway woods already has its white lines coming off the club.
Just had a custom fit session and bought these. Tried a bunch of club, including the Mizuno JPX EZ which I know you play with Mark. It came down to these clubs feeling better at address. 18 Handicapper
Just bought my G25's after a good hour and half club fitting and I thought they hit way better then the new rocketbladze and the Nike covertes. I am just ready for Feb 14 so they can be shipped out and I can start using them.
@LaxBeast1131 right now i have a set of ping eye 2's and i just ordered a complete set of G-25's after being fitted to G-25's. i can tell you that both irons are very very good, ping eye 2's shaped the golfing world and still are. Its a tough choice but id call it even.
had these for a year, added about 15 yds per club than my old Ping black dots. I can use the 5 iron for 200 yds and that would never happen with my old black dots. Utility can play from almost 140 so there is a reason I enjoy every round I play with these
Bought mine back in 2014 and used them all the way to last year, had to sell them unfortunately because of a back injury and subsequent surgery that didn’t allow me to play anymore
Long time PING fan. Still playing my I3s. I really like the look of these new clubs and totaly agree with your observations. My one concern is the finish. My I3s except for a few sole nicks still look great after 12 years. The dark finish on the G25s I suspect is only on the surface and once breached I suspect will show much more than the natural tumbled finish. I would love to hear PING's take.
In terms of price, the PING prices have not shifted at all since their previous releases. Check them out and you'll see. PING clubs retain their values by comparison to any other club in the market. I have just switched from a 3FW-G15 to a 3FW-G20. The store manager could not wait snatch my G15. That is why I am budgeting for these after two years with G15 irons.
Enjoyed the video Mark and now I'm actually interested in hitting the G25 irons myself. Question: Many times before you hit the ball, you take the club back about three quarters of the way and look to your right as though you are looking at your hand position. What are you checking?
Just got the Ping 25 today. Finally upgraded from my 9 year old Cobra 3100 I/H irons. Absolutely love the feel. Solid and confident feel with the 4 and 5 iron, which is what I was looking for.
Hiiii mark. These are great golf clubs. I tried the taylormade rocketbladez and im getting 20-30 yards more on ech club. should i bother trying these out or just go for the rocketbladez
I like Ping, my dad has some G series irons and recently bought the corresponding driver but I really don't like the finish on their irons, look old and somewhat worn
Hi Mark I got my G25s a while ago and absolutely love them. As a matter of fact, i got all my clubs after watching your reviews of them , so thanks for your help!! I have the black dot off the shelf clubs so did not get custom fit. Now I'm wonder to take my game to the next level, is there anyway i can get my current clubs custom fit or would I need to buy new clubs again?? Your feedback would be much appreciated! Cheers!!
Mark, you're the best thanks for all the videos. How about some comments about the CFS shafts? In my experience they play soft to flex but would value your comments. What shaft did you use during this review?
i was never a fan of Ping when i started playing a few years ago due to the G20 irons, i thought they looked awfull. but last year i got new irons and i really liked the i20 irons, which makes me feel a bit guilty for judging ping by the looks of the G20 irons
Mark i play off 13 and am looking at getting g/25 my swing speed for my irons is around 73 mph can u please tell me would i get reg steel or graphite thank you .
Hi Mark I'm a high handicaper looking to buy a new set of irons I've watched your review of Ping25 and Taylormade rocketballz/RBZ.I was thinking of getting the Ping and noticed they have a colour scheme,I'm 6'1 which colour would you recommend?Between the blue and yellow thanks for the great vids and help.
Thank you. I was thinking about buying the Karsten's, but now I'll have a look at the G25's, and since I'm already planning on getting G25 woods and driver, my whole entire set will match. I fuckin love these videos mate, keep up the good work.
Mark, love the videos. Could you possibly compare these with something like the Titleist AP1's on trackman? That would be awesome. Keep up the good work... Cheers

Ping are letting us down here with the irons by bringing new models out too frequently.Especially when you pay upwards of £600 for a set. They never used to do it.Still great reviews though Mark.
Bought mine in 2013. Still rocking them in 2024. Love them

I hit steel shaft farther because they are heavier and give me more momentum I think. But it's golf and everything's different for everyone!

Honestly what I want from ping is an iron with no offset full cavity and the same size as the g25 here, Also ferrule is an absolute must.
I love my G25 irons. The flight and feel are incredible. Much better looking than the g20. Very workable for a cast iron too. Ping baby!!!
Today I tested the Mizuno JPX EZ irons and Ping G25's. The G25's performed better for me. Excellent irons!
Just bought my G25's after a good hour and half club fitting and I thought they hit way better then the new rocketbladze and the Nike covertes. I am just ready for Feb 14 so they can be shipped out and I can start using them.

Wow they have brought out a new range already?! On the ball with the new releases again there mark good job.
Great job as always Mark. I often look at your reviews, keep them coming!

Just got the Ping 25 today. Finally upgraded from my 9 year old Cobra 3100 I/H irons. Absolutely love the feel. Solid and confident feel with the 4 and 5 iron, which is what I was looking for.
i own G25 irons and i absolutely love them

Totally agree.I got the same results !!
I will have to check them out when they reach the pro shop here in Kettering ohio
try these too. i tried the rockedbladez, but was more acurate with these, and they went just as far as the rocketbladez...
I use Mizuno MP 52's with a regular flex steel shaft. I'm tempted to switch to these Pings in a stiff. Recommended?
I have seen them, they are nice, however not convinced they are any better than my i10's. What do you think Mark?
Could you compare them to the G20's on trackman please. Would like to know how much difference the thinner sole makes compared to there counterparts.
Mark can you compare the New G25 to the G20's to see how much difference there is between the two please?
Hi Mark
I got my G25s a while ago and absolutely love them. As a matter of fact, i got all my clubs after watching your reviews of them , so thanks for your help!!

Mark, you're the best thanks for all the videos. How about some comments about the CFS shafts? In my experience they play soft to flex but would value your comments. What shaft did you use during this review?
Nice review. These are easily the best irons on the market, esp. for those wanting forgiveness.
Mark, what shoe are u waring?
would you recommend these or the rocketbladez for a 20 handicapper?
If the G25's suit a wide range of players; how do they compare to the i20's? Has ping decided to launch i25's soon?
Yep stoked!!!! Can't wait. It's going to be a PING year.
Nice trainers Mark.
i was never a fan of Ping when i started playing a few years ago due to the G20 irons, i thought they looked awfull. but last year i got new irons and i really liked the i20 irons, which makes me feel a bit guilty for judging ping by the looks of the G20 irons
What is better ping eye 2 irons or ping g 25 irons
Mark i play off 13 and am looking at getting g/25 my swing speed for my irons is around 73 mph can u please tell me would i get reg steel or graphite thank you .
My speed is like 67 and my instructor recommended steel for me
Great looking clubs
Do you think the G25 is worth the extra $ over the G20?
Hi Mark, how would you compare the G25 to the Titleist AP1 712?
Hi Mark I'm a high handicaper looking to buy a new set of irons I've watched your review of Ping25 and Taylormade rocketballz/RBZ.I was thinking of getting the Ping and noticed they have a colour scheme,I'm 6'1 which colour would you recommend?Between the blue and yellow thanks for the great vids and help.
Cheers,I found a website that sells discounted clubs much cheaper than the stores.
+Ken S What site is that?
+yankeex777 Don't worry about that site because the clubs are fake.
But do the distance gaps work?
I wonder about that - maybe posture drill?
Mark - good video. Why do you keep placing your hand on your thigh?
Cheers
Interesting that back then 8 years ago no trackman for Numbers? Crazy
Do I replace mine?
Love my g25s
You're hitting them straight!
I can't choose between these and the Rocketbladez
G20 irons and woods vs G25 irons and woods!
Looked like the launch of the 4 iron was about the same as the 6 iron.
Mark please Titleist DCI oversize+
Just been fitted on these babies excellent club
do g20 and g25
new kicks?
How much does the full bag of irons, wedge, drivers, hybride etc does it cost? Wjic PING clubs do you recomend for a begginer?
Please answer and thanks!
In 6 years playing these irons I went from a 17 handicap to a 10. Excellent clubs. Moving onto P790s. Never getting rid of these clubs.
Same here, had mine 6 years. Trying to decide whether I need a new set? Or get them re-gripped and some lessons....
Was down to 13/14 hcp from a 28.
@@JWHarris........ that’s a lot of improvement! Well done. Lessons over new clubs are a good idea. Personally for me the lessons get Me thinking about to many things. Takes the right coach! I would go hit some new technology, even some of the new cavity back stuff like these have got a lot better. Best of luck.
A/Bed them next to the G410s and even six years later the G25 is still the best irons Ping has made. The G700s were slightly better, but certainly not $1,000 better.
Could you compare the G25's vs Rocketbladez?
These clubs are sexy! I just ordered a set. They aint cheap let me give you the hot tip.
makes me want to sell my g20's!
You never let us know! Don't keep us in the dark, dammit.
Ping are letting us down here with the irons by bringing new models out too frequently.Especially when you pay upwards of £600 for a set. They never used to do it.Still great reviews though Mark.
G20's
Dam you!
top line is to thick for me, thinner a winner
i guess it's time to sell my g10s
The, damn you lager
You sound nakered Mark? Had a big Xmas?
too much offset
That was depressing...
save some money and get a lesson.... now theres a revelation
