Hi, thanks for the video, I really enjoyed watching it. Since I've read some comments here about the Talent Points (TPs) system, I want to add something:
    - As for Retromation's question at the early of the video, yes, you're supposed to survive, because:
    - TPs aren't farm-able, you are given only a fixed amount
    - TPs are designed to spend each run, and you can spend right after you gained them
    - They do more than increasing stats, for example you can gain coins or remove items from the item pool
    - Again, they are not something you can grind and get free win, they just add a new dimension of strategy
Thank you again, I'm just a solo dev with very little resources to make games, and the support from UA-camrs like you really motivate and help me to improve (which I know there are a lot of rooms for) :)

I like the idea of the TP, it functions kind of like the mirror in Hades, where you can use it to customize your run. I think it use a few more interesting/compelling options that really change how you play, but I think it works.

It's honestly a shame more games don't use meta progress in the same way games like slice and dice do. Instead of adding stat boosts to make future runs harder, it should be add new content and mechanics to the game to make it more complex or fresh. This feels very mobile game to me.

It's definitely a personal choice type of thing. Some would agree with you while others would enjoy having the majority of things available to not be soft-locked by a progress grind.
On the other hand if it's a situation of More content overall vs Artificial power inflation then I fuuully agree, being fed more content will feel better & would help not overwhelm starting players if there are THAT many more options to choose from.

@@mica4977 soft locking progression with stat boosts hidden behind merely grind time + a button press is lazy game design and add zero depth to a game, if the only meaningful choice you make is to play or quit the game (or worse purchase skips), then personally I think the player should quit.

Maybe those "drillers" that stuck right next to you were like the Enemy's Taunt, soaking your dmg (and auto ability's attention) while the others damage you.

Indeed was about to say that. They're like shields. So you can only attack them and others come behind them for free.

36:05 I thought my eyes glitched out like an optical illusion, but I'm pretty sure the sword thing rotated counterclockwise once randomly.

Reto, I always looked forward to your Brotato videos every day for those 1-2 years you put them out. I'm glad you gelled with that game as much as I enjoyed watching it. This looks like it has a lot of promise, but Brotato also had a whole lot of updates over the years (and it also took a hell of a lot more user input each round), so it'll be interesting to see if the Dev wants to keep it going.

The chance of shots passing through the range and tower is for each shot on the circle wall, one of them will have infinite range

I usually don't really care about a visual style, but this looks straight out of MS paint. It does look like a great Steam Deck game though, like pushing 3 buttons for a minute and then spend 3 minutes in menus.

Like a more engaged version of that mobile game ive been seeing a bunch of ads for. Will definitely agree though, even just opening that talents screen did damage to me.

Honestly, the game feels too simplistic for me. Not necessarily in terms of strategy or build variation, but simply in terms of "feel" - just blobs of colour disappearing after being hit by a stationary tower. I feel like the game would really benefit from a more interesting art style, or at least some flashier effects?
Like maybe the colour blobs could start cracking to show how much damage you do? Could already help with making it more interesting to look at.
Or not, idk I'm not a game designer and maybe playing the game feels different from watching.

The game looks too simple, maybe because of graphics: I have no feelings for these colorful circles.
