Never played this game but some things I noticed while watching: The skeletons only take damage from behind. so from your whole setup, only one cyclops & crossbow actually do damage. The rest is useless. For the worms, just send them all on the same path. You save a lot of space that way.
@@RealCivilEngineerGamingHi Matt I would love to see you play the game mindustry which is a factory based game but there are airplanes robots and ships. Its a free game on mobile but I am not sure if it is on pc too. Btw love your videos keep the good work
Matt in Polybridge 2: after having played hundreds of hours, still no idea how hydraulic beams work and just fiddles around until it somehow works Matt in Mob Factory: During the first session, plasters the whole screen with conveyors in all kinds of directions with perfect efficiency
If you make a more efficient path you can kill the worms faster. I made a path using 3x3 square (3 spawn point empty row/column 3 more otherside) to spawn the worm and have them go down the same path. using area damage making them go around with walls you can compact the killing field. I really wish they would let us demolish the original spawn point to make the pathing more efficient.
theres a similar game called mindustry where your goal is to conquer (a british classic) a planet, the planet is divided into sectors with waves of enemies and when you beat all the waves you conquer the sector
This game looks really fun. I love the fact that you need to go back to each section and rebuild it as you tech up. Now I see why Factorio probably uses inserters. Belts that move products out, makes this a little messier when building.
You HAVE to try Mindustry ! It's a tower defense and strategy game (you have to make factory, to produce ressources and research new technologies and go to new places ) A bit like this game... But with even more content ! Please try it ! I'm sure you'll love it ; )
There is a game which is similar to this, and it's also a tower defense, but you gotta use more brain and strat. Mindustry, you gotta try it man. You need to mine ores to create armies and towers to defend the enemies, but at the same time you need to control your resources so it doesn't go out.
Please play Mindustry! If you like this game you will love it! It is really factorio + tower defense. You can farm ore automate everything and destroy your enemies!
Assemblers can take items from near conveyors. I made loops to feed constantly them. And their other side a line of collector conveyers take the products.
Hi, another nice factorio - tower defence game is "mindustry" but I its a bit more complicatet so maybe a new letsplay if you like it. I play the game now since 2 years and its really beautiful.
You would differently like the create mod on Minecraft. It's pretty much Minecraft meets satisfactory. The only problem is you need good Minecraft knowledge to play it so you would need to watch quite few videos. Lots of automated factories to make, trains and you even make flippers to make you go flying.
I love this game and I'm excited for it. The developer is very committed to improving this game. It's already come far since the first iteration of the demo. Glad you're giving it visibility.
Heyyyy mattt, the video's great for now, but could you please play mindustry? Its an amazing strategy factory tower defense game. I would so love you to play it thanks!
RCE, try mindustry. It is also a good factory builder tower defence, but you sometimes also attack the enemies with units. Day 1 if asking RCE to play mindustry.
if you use purely area damage and slowers to kill the worms/spiders then you can add as many spawners as you want, as long as the path goes through the area damage
The link will take you to the Steam page in a browser, it won't open Steam for you which is what you need to do to download the game, making a link mostly pointless- like an architect
@@RealCivilEngineerGaming On brand as ever xD Though I disagree with it being useless. As a comparison, a second gaming youtuber I follow (dangerouslyfunny) always includes the a link, and I often found myself checking it (to see if it is steam, browser, or not even pc) and opening it in a tab to see the price. Mainly, the last two new games you played (including this one) were free demos, which is exactly the kind of thing I hope for when a video gets me in the mood for a new game. Perfect way to kill an hour or two (and exactly why I miss the flash era). But this time I instead had to open steam, enter store, manually type search phrases, and locate the game, to find that out :p
Day 9 of asking RCE to play Machinarium. It’s a 2011 puzzle game with great characters and gameplay, an amazing soundtrack and some very detailed puzzles. It’s available (though not free) on Steam.
Matt farming worms "oh man, they all go into one lane" - damn, if only you had something that deals area so clumped up enemies wouldn't bother you... but hey, having them all in one lane would also save way to much space ;p
a game that also fits the "factorio plus tower defense game" description is Mindustry. PLEASE give it a go, it is a wonderful little game that you can pour hours into easily

was about to say that the skeletons only take damage from behind also lol idk how he didn't notice that
the slimes will eat the slimeballs so make sure to move them with conveyors so you dont lose them in case you havent made it that far yet.

Usually, Matt gets addicted to everything, but in this case, I can see why
The games Matt get addicted to I also get addicted to that game for a couple of months and looks like this will be no different. send help😂😅😭😭
No
Imagine if he plays factorio one day
if he likes this he gotta try mindustry
As I Mindustry player , I can definitely understand what king of conveyor matrix and logic you're trying to do here .
Same lol, my conveyor spaghetti sometimes gives me headaches
@@Drexium fucking same, i end up building a conveyor layout, go to bed and when i start playing again i look at it and am just "huh?"
I'm the king or router chain :)
This is Mindustry but more to the tower defense
Matt in Polybridge 2: after having played hundreds of hours, still no idea how hydraulic beams work and just fiddles around until it somehow works
Matt in Mob Factory: During the first session, plasters the whole screen with conveyors in all kinds of directions with perfect efficiency
Subpar efficiency. Not one knob.
matt in a nutshell
Well Matt , If you had combined Factorio , Tower defence game properly and added engineering, you would have gotten Mindustry.
As someone with a disgusting amount of hours in mindustry (over 2000), I agree
@@Drexium As someone who can relate how people can easily sink hundreds or thousands of hours in Mindustry, I approve.
agreed
no, mindustry isn't addicting (i definitely didn't spend multiple hours everyday playing it for years)
I wonder if he'll ever realize that the skeletons have shields and you have to hit them from behind.
If you make a more efficient path you can kill the worms faster.

6 aoe towers(2 rows of 3) at the base in a straight line is enough to kill any and all worms, than u can cover the whole map in worm spawns

I think Matt should play Mindustry. It's on PC and mobile, and it's quite a similar concept! I think Matt would love the game!
Have your tried mindustry.
It's a tower defence factory game
You build infrastructure to build and fuel weapons.

Mindustry is an amazing game, but i may be biased as i have over 2000 hours in it
Nah,it is just on another level
All of these games feel a bit repetitive or boring, but mindustry makes you control everything on a way better way...
So Similar to Mindustry? But Bloons instead of Kingdom Rush as a basis of inspiration.
Please play Mindustry! If you like this game you will love it! It is really factorio + tower defense. You can farm ore automate everything and destroy your enemies!
Matt, you get addicted by any game at this point
Mindustry is a much more factory factory tower defense game
Factorio + Tower-defense reminds me of mindustry
same lol

Matt how about you try Mindustry? If you do I'd recommend you do it with friends because thats how it gets better
Timberbourne: multispan metal bridge going across the map - no review.
Mob Factory: a piece of wood that we found laying in the void - bridge review!
factorio + tower defense = mindustry
Matt really needs too play Mindustry ngl
I kinda want a second RCE channel that just releases Bridge Review shorts of irl bridges.

Mindustry is truly an incredible game
Mindustry! Mindustry!
1:36 I cannot believe RCE didn't recognize the strongest shape :(
Cool genre mix, reminds me a bit of Project Astra Dominium, from which I've played the demo a few days ago
Please try MINDUSTRY!!!! I would be amazed to see what you could do in that game
Matt always find new games to play
RCE, try mindustry. It is also a good factory builder tower defence, but you sometimes also attack the enemies with units. Day 1 if asking RCE to play mindustry.
You should absolutely revisit this game, that was addicting to watch 👀

if you use purely area damage and slowers to kill the worms/spiders then you can add as many spawners as you want, as long as the path goes through the area damage
What I don't get, is how RCE consistently fails to include a link in description to whatever game he's playing in the video
It's for the same reason why people stopped putting the names of the games they're playing in the video title - UA-cam algorithm overlord.
It is Mob Factory

Please keep going with this one. It’s fun to watch.
him not understanding shields provide directional protection was truly agonising
I recently watched Olexa play this and now you are too! Very happy about that
The skeletons don’t take damage from the from or from the spinning blades, only ranged damage from the back hurts them
please matt try a game named Mindustry its very good
I believe if you combine factorio with a tower defense game you still get factorio

This game has so many kinds of daggers, wooden and metal
There's Mindustry too
I like this one. Looks pleasingly simple, yet complex.
Make it a series ! It's great !!
If you got addicted to this game... Ohoho, wait till you play Mindustry
The mechanics sort of remind me of fieldrunners where you kinda carve the path on how the mobs should move along your wall of guns
The day matt plays factorio its going to be carnage
Reminds me of mindustry...
Tower defense factory builder, never thought I would see those two in the same game^^
Check out mindustry, it is Rts, Towerdefence and factory builder and is stupidly fun

My disappointment is unmeasurable and my day is ruined
Wooooah got me a contact addiction from this dank content
Highlight the creatures. The Skeleton says in the tooltip that it can only be damaged from behind.
BIG cheese method, spam bridges over the sides. that allows you to make a wide super bridge
