I know exactly what you mean! When I first started doing makeup on myself I had the hardest time not blinking. Try using a powder eyeshadow first to build up that tolerance and practice, practice, practice!! It’ll get easier ❤️
Yeah for sure there are so many makeup artists out there and probably in your area starting out that would love to come and do your makeup but of course you would have to pay them lol
This was super helpful. I learned years ago that applying liner to the inner part of my top waterline would make my eyes look closed/smaller. So I only apply it to the outer part. But I had never thought about avoiding the inner part of the lower lash line.
Ive been trying to find vidoes on natural looking eyeliner and have watched SOOO many vidoes! I found your video to be the most helpful and one I feel I can apply at home! I have ZERO experience with makeup but feel I could do this look at home! Thank you!
So needed this Shannon!! 🙌 I tend to avoid dark colors at the bottom of my eyelid bc I feel like it smudges lol But I think this tip will help to set the liner by building up to it. 😆 Love this video & so deserving of going viral!! ✨ Congratulations!! 🎉
I always find it very complicated tho. For something so simple (and so lovely!!) we need a ton of different things and to keep another gazillion in mind. My feeling is that one needs a degree to be able to do this xD Thanks for the cool video!
Great video. I have a question - i have sunken/deep set eyes. So i don't have a definite bottom lid, its just flat with the rest of my under eye skin. This technique does not look right on my eye... Any ideas?
What disposal mascara wands would u recommend? I have bought a pack off Amazon but I prefer a thin wand like the Lancôme Définicils for the bottom lash line and for an upper, one shaped like the better than sex or something with a bit of a curb.
I'm curious... What is pigmented? I have an ~$8 eyeliner stick that twists up like a pen. I decided to use a more expensive brand because I have a horrible problem with it chalking/powdering down my eyelids (I only do a tiny bit on the bottom)
Hey Liz!! I started on my outer V and built up a darker brown and then pulled the eyeshadow slightly up with a clean shadow brush! I kept the eyeshadow pretty close to my crease and then used a skin-tone color to soften the edge! Hope this helps, thanks for watching!! :)
Hey Deborah! Here are the products I mentioned: Too Faced Natural Eye Palette London Brush Company Brush #17 Luxe Socket Blender Med London Brush Company Brush #18 - Luxe Socket Blender Sml Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner - Whiskey
Oh man, that's a hard question!!! Hmm, it really depends what category, there are soooooo many amazing brands out there. As far as eyeliners go - one of my absolute favorites is BlackUP! What are yours?
Sorry Linda!! I’m working on a better set up, but lenses are expensive! I do have close up videos on TikTok, maybe that would be helpful? I apologize for the inconvenience! 😢
I find her voice to be so relaxing 😍
Thanks so much Kelsey 😊😊

Yes!! 😊
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi super idea🤔🤔
what eye shadow brushes do you use?
How did you shade/shaped the browbone and crease? I can see you did something, but idk what

45 years old and still learning 😂
I'm probably never ever gonna wear any other makeup other than eyeliner on my bottom lid
Can you name the brushes that you used
Can liquid eyeliner be used on the lower lid?
It won't blend. Use gel eyeliner
@@i.8885 oh ok, thanks!
@@Anonymous-uo8xx you can also try wet eyeshadow or Eyeshadow with water and pencils
@@i.8885 thanks! 😃
Pencil liner is probably better
Makes a huge differenvrence
👍
I’m nonbinary (genderqueer) and just starting to do makeup. I need all the help I can get lol.

Theres no such thing as non binary

لااله الاالله محمد رسول الله
Is it possible to focus the camera a bit closer to your eye so I can see more in detail please
Insane video Shannon ! 👌🏻💋 Looking gorgeous as always! ❤️ Big thumbs up 👍🏻 from me! 😘 feel free to checkout my latest Christmas DIY video!⭐️
Can't believe I just spent 70 bucks on the same pallette and eye liner she has to look like her lol. And the brushes.
The outside of my eyes point down naturally. This technique doesn't look good on me.
Not close enough to see how she's doing it

@@MakeupByShannonMarie i love your videos
this does not help. The your eyes are now too smokey. Want just an outline. no smoke. better
