- The Rockin' Rag's RocknRolivia interviews legendary drummer, Michael "QUINT" Fortune, original drummer of the 60's rock band, "THE ELECTRIC PRUNES" at NAMM Show 2016.
One of my very first recording sessions was with "Quint" back in the early 70s. We were in a band called "The Rippers" and I played bass. I still have the recording of "Satin Slick". Quint, if you reading this, get in touch and I'll send you a copy!
2023 Big news update about Michael Fortune (The Electric Prunes Original very talanted Drummer). Michael has passed on, my heart and prayers goes out to him, and his family. Thank you Michael for your gift of music! Many blessings to you! May you rest with peace and tranquillity, and your soul have the love of God the creator by your side for eternity.
I got to know Michael in his latter years. His life story was truly amazing, and it was a pleasant to sit down and talk to him about a lot of things. May his soul rest in peace 🙏
I knew Quint from many years of extraordinary NAMM adventures. All he asked for, he told us, was limos and champagne. Everyone else can have the money!
