How to MAKE a Necklace at HOME - Easy DIY Jewelry!

- This video features the crafting of a special gift for my wife. This necklace was sawn from heavy guage copper, engraved then a centerpiece of whitetail deer antler set in a bezel. The antler is scrimshawed with a script along with a date. All the engraving is done by hammer and chisel. The bezel then fabricated and soldered in place. The entire piece is then cleaned then recieves a patina which is liver of sulfer. The loop that holds the pendant to the chain is an engraved and sculpted leaf from sterling silver. This was a very time consuming and enjoyable project and one that I was very happy to give my wife who gives me more than I can ever offer.

Thank you. I'm fortunate to have learned a little bit about a lot of things and had the time to work at them and learn more. Making jewelry being one of them, then engraving and now working on other crafts that I can incorporate with each other. That's my favorite thing, mixing disciplines.
