- 2017 Turbo Dynamics ECU reflash and muffler in action on Yamaha Sidewinder and Arctic Cat RR turbo.

Yamaha Sidewinder has TD Ecotrail ECU reflash plus TD turbo Force muffler and TD stage 1 clutch kit vs Bone stock 2017 RR turbo Arctic Cat.
Then later we upgrade the Sidewinder with a more powerful TD Powertrail Reflash and keep the same TD turboforce muffler vs again Stock RR cat turbo.
Then we upgrade the Cat with a TD ecotrail reflash and TD super quiet muffler... That made the race much closer.
Then we put a TD stock modified muffler stage 2 muffler and show how crazy quiet that is while still making a lot more power than stock and sounding much better.
Yamaha sidewinder is awesome snowmobile.

I really wish you would've swapped sides during the drags.... prove that traction wasn't the issue. First race the stock cat is in fresh snow and Yamaha is down to dirt!
ya and the yamaha rider is alot more aggressive im sure it made a diff but dont believe that much

The proof traction wasn't a big advantage look what happened when we put the tune in the cat. It was a much closer race even though the cat had the 250HP tune at the end and not the 265HP.
The guy that won had the better lane. He was in the dirt and the other guy was spinning in deep snow. I hate bullshit like this

snow was the same depth. Left lane may have had slightly better traction but not much difference. Left lane had more shutdown room so the fast was there.
Thomas Paul I'm thinking the winder just dug down to the dirt after that many runs.. would have been good to see just the first run or two... Or maybe switch lanes back and forth.. but I'd say with 70 or more hp increase there damn well better be a clear difference
Can the viper be re flashed to more rpm?
My 2014 viper with the hurricane turbo I can do what this sled can. I have a power commander I can re flash or re map it. Also she has 7200 miles on it and still kicks ass. Honest its so fast and hits speeds so fast I back off. The dude that built it has stomped winders with it. So all I have. Put it this way I love the 1049.

How were these two machines stock for stock? Main difference being clutches.
This was not an Arctic Cat vs Yamaha race. Those 2 models in 2017 are very very similar in performance stock.
It was a performance test for modified vs stock.
Yes I know that, just wondering who's clutching works better. I have been hearing the Cat clutches run hot and the Yamaha clutches are staying cool.
