- Had an awesome day with a few good friends, late sled season, March 17th 2022. The trails were still awesome, and the sun came out later in the day, couldn't have asked for a better time!

If I remember right it's the turbosmart bov, but i have it externally vented instead of recirculating back into the intake.

The sidewinder is pretty ugly sled and heavy but they sure are fast when ridden properly
The other 99% of the population think it’s the best looking sled in their current lineup.
@@ChaseLandMgmt i wouldnt go that far. I rarely see them onnthe trails. Maybe 1 or 2 here and there. Yamaha isnt exactly a top tier manufacturer for sleds.
i think its decent looking, and it goes like hell, the acceleration is fucking brutal but it rides like shit and is beyond a heavy sled. On a thight trail in the woods you would honestly smoke a Sidewinder with a 500cc haha, because they are so heavy and hard to maneuver. I ride a 600r Backcountry, and a friend has a sidewinder. Both decent riders but on the trails i smoked him ez, and on the lakes i had no chance in hell.
Ugly….no that goes to Ski Doo’s Gen 5. They went from the Daffy Duck look to the ninja turtles look. Ugliest sled on snow today.
@@Leo-im9ozmust be a horseshit rider. Set up properly with the Fox QS3 shocks I can stick with any Doo or Poo and once we hit the straights it’s goodbye, not to mention I have 270 HP on my fingertips. The Doo has a better riding back skid but they are wheelie monsters and love to lift the skis in the corners. The ProCross may he old but it stays planted in the corners, they still have the best front end. Furthermore it seems once it’s shock rebuild time the Doo never seems to ride the same. Freshen up the Fox QS3’s on the Cat chassis and back in business.
