I love all of the songs off the album Me and Mr. Johnson, plus Eric’s version of Crossroads, and Further On Up The Road, and some more I am sure. I just can’t help but think this song Lonesome Road Blues might be where Jimi Hendrix got his intro to Red House. I keep on hearing Red House every time I try to start this intro and want to break into Jimi’s iconic lead. LOL 😂 Thanks John.
Hi Jon, I've enjoyed working this piece out. I've got the notes down and am now trying to get tighter and fit everything in 12 bars. Is the run in the middle, starting on 1st string, 4 beats (1 bar) ending on open D string? I count twelve notes and you seem to do it in one bar. Am I counting right?
