Have fun!
Great tutorial. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the new lessons learnt Tita 😍🥰
You’re welcome 😊
I was thrilled to see you add an affiliated link here! :D I changed the growing medium for my leaf babies a month or so ago (once I saw your preferred medium). Thanks for the advice! It is so much easier to lift them and check on their roots. It is easier to see stray roots that get exposed and fix the problem quickly. They are growing soooo much faster now that I'm watering them more, per your advice! Thanks!
That is awesome!
Hi again ms. Lizk as usual I enjoyed your video and learnn some new tricks re:crested succu...stay safe and gorgeous❣

You're welcome and thank you for watching.
Teşekürler Liz🖕🖕
Hi Liz! I watch your videos regularly! I love your personality and your plants as well! I have been dying to know what the ID is of 1 of the plants from your video - the pic collage in your intro music where you show “growing succulents”. The upper 2nd photo from the left, the one with slightly wavy leaves? Thank you! 😊
Is it the white one(Echeveria White Prince) or the red next to the white(Echeveria agavoides Gilva Red)?
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK the white one with slightly curly leaves! I should have just said the white one! 😆 it’s called Echeveria White prince? Wow. I didn’t know there was such a thing. It’s very lovely ❤️ thanks for the response! ❤️
Hello maam Liz i hope my leaf propa will be a success.
Good luck.
Hi Liz! I love your channel. This is an awesome video. I'm wondering what kind of grow light do you use? How many watts is it
Thanks for watching Julie. MarsHydro SP3000 is 300w and link below the video if your interested in finding out more.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK Thanks for the info! I didn't even think of looking in the description box. Someone gifted me a small grow light. It is only 80W 😂 I guess its better than nothing. I will get a bigger one when I'm able to
But tita Liz masaya rin yung crested Po
Beautiful vidéos, Thank you, my question :
What soil you use for succulentes graptopetalum please, bye
I use my own (Master succulent Soil Mix) for my graptopetalum, which gets amended depending on a few factors such as, pots I use, where it's going to be grown, etc. As a general guide, Graptopetalum are not that fuzzy and can grow in any well-draining soil. I have some graptopetalum growing in my garden with clay soil.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK thank you, very much ,bye
Magandang umago po Ate Liz. Having coffee and growing my addiction. Lol TFS Bernadette
My pleasure. Thank you.
So many tiny babies. Do you have a preference with how you lay the leaf? Have you discovered whether it makes a difference, whether the dip of the leaf is facing up or down?
When a leaf is facing down, takes longer for the plant to grow since it has to wriggle it's way up to the top.
What works best whet propegating. Throw a peddle in an empty bucket or on dirt.
Also, when do we start giving water to peddles when propegating? Thanks in advance 😊
There are many ways of propagating but I prefer my method since it works for me. I start watering the leaves when they have roots. Thanks for watching.
Good morning auntie lizk can you make another tagalog vedio 😙
GODBLESS you always
God bless you too Irgne. Good luck sa studies mo.
Yes, soon.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK salamat po😀😀
Hi Liz! I love your channel. But, how to crested leaves?
Here's a video below.
How I propagated and grow a lot of crested succulents - ua-cam.com/video/kVFFum0uGHs/v-deo.html
Thanks for all the tips Liz! I'm successful in propagating roots and pimples. But once the mother leaf dies. The plant also dies ☹️. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Maybe it's the watering process? Any ideas? How do you water these babies, I know you didn't want to make the video too long but I don't know what else I could be doing wrong? Is the info in your blog? I watched your video on indoor Propagation and watering. I don't have grow lights. Should I be watering less?
What plant are you propagating? If you take away the grow light, it's the same method growing and watering in an area with plenty of light but no direct sunlight.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK its a mix of echeveria, sedums and graptovaria leaves. They were in my bathroom but I've moved them outside to get more indirect sunlight.
@@theresapon2936 Maybe try removing the babies from the mother leaf once it has it's own roots and always let the soil dry out before watering again. Depending on the variety such as specific name for example 'E. Romeo, sedum clavatum; some are better propagated from cuttings than leaves.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK thank you. I will continue trying.
Theresa, hey hunny just wanted to let you know i was having the same problem so i started to prop mama leaf up off the soil/ coco coir to keep her leaf super dry. I prop her on a rock at thr one end or prop her on the side of the pot, or lean her on a chopstick. Anything to keep her dry. I found if i can keep her on with thr baby as long as possible, she acts like the nanny and i am now potting up pretty big babies with her still on them. She eventually dries up but now she comes off in more like 8 months now. I just plant her along with the new plant, she will die eventually. Now i have no problem and i have just planted 65 decent sized small plants. Happy Planting hunny, good luck.
Can I leave propagating leaves n with roots near window? Water only if dry? Using cocopeat soil. How often should I use soil wetter ?which I saw other video you spray on them. I see my leaves looking dry despite being water. Thank you much dear Liz.
Don't leave propagated leaves near window as it will dry up too quickly and will take too long to grow pups. Make sure that your leaves have roots before planting and watering and I never use soil wetter on propagated leaves in coco peat. On some leafy succulents, the single propagated leaves will dry up as the new baby emerge.
Ok. Noted..thanks Liz.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK what is a good place to leave propagation trays?
💚💜💚💜
Thanks for the helpful video! Have you found crested succulents are weaker? Someone else suggested that they are more sensitive to rot so you need to be even more careful. You've had so many of them, I know you'll know if that is another myth. :)
I find crested succulents to be stronger plants since they've already experienced some trauma that lead them to grow crested in the first place.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK I knew you would know better. I was afraid to water my one crested succulent due to the fear of losing it. Now I know better. Thanks!

@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK teşekkürler
😀🥰❤❤❤
Did these babies come from a crested plant? Is that the only way to get a crested ? Or can they form from any succulent plants? Almost like a mutation?? Haha
BTW, I am also a huge fan of coco coir!! Sometimes I use the coco chunks with my larger mixes.
As shown on the previous video, these are ordinary leaves that was neglected and roots eaten by mealy bugs.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK sorry if you have previously been over this! I don't always have time to watch all your videos, all the way through!! Haha 😊
Bisaya ka mam?
