Atsu starting off with genuinely sad news about his mental health and getting cheated on is genuinely sad. Like those are REAL topics, personal or not. But then to use that to spearhead all of the flailing, libel and just UNECEESARY drama that has pretty much either been patched up or blown over, just to rehash all this shit is crazy. IDK who's on his side anymore but it really looked like he blamed EVERYONE in the community and if that's how he wants to go out, that's all onhim
Which makes people think that he is spiraling and that he needs help. Many people are trying to help him, Gacha is being really nice, Artonecy too. Keep in mind, dude was flamed, wife cheated, none of his friends reached out during that- this can fuck up an individual BAD. I wish he actually go get help and listens to Gacha Smack, we know how Atsu is, he lies, even his mods does. He literally needs to change his environment entirely. For someone spiraling it is expected to do that. Because like you said, its effed up.
@@selenastratsukino7695 And even Dicktone was trying to give him an advice to stop all the bs because Atsu is clearly in an awful state. I hope he won't do anything dumb to himself after all of these.

Agreed, but Nothing is going to help him, bc even the person he loves and being in relationships with for 10 years cheated on him, if I were him I think there’s no moving on for him.. he need someone to be with him but there’s no one..😢 #pity
Big respect for not adding to the dog pile. It's refreshing to hear a wise and nuanced voice to what happened. People fail to see this completely zoomed out.

He is the most sane cc I have ever seen. He handles everything perfectly.Just doesn't go online and brag without knowing context and researchs about them. And his content is also really good and intellectual.
Well its nlt that hard reflecting and understanding the mistakes you made, yet many people fail at it and instead end up making a bad decision that makes things hundred time worst Yeah honestly more people should folllw Smack's advices on that
The Mike Tyson’s advice plus with your “Get shot straight to the top and they are terrified of the fall, but the good thing for the people who fall all the time, is that they get back up” that is inspiring and based as hell smacky
I dunno, man. I like some of your level headed points, Why should Atsu be the one to apologize when everyone was manipulative? Brax objectively confessed to lying, but didn't want to publicly apologize. Atsu's friends never spoke up for him, I'd at least hope my friends would support me until they knew the whole story. His wife cheated on him. He became suicidal. His friends were just as manipulative, Brax was a coward. This really was a bunch of grown adults acting like elementary school kids, and now someone got seriously hurt. I think a lot of the CCs in this community (including Atsu) suck, and are egotistical, selfish people.
heh ironic.. considering tectone and Co are preaching accountability out the wahzuu... theres an irony that these people should be held accountable but Atsu was made the scapegoat and cross bearer for these CCs sins when he ultimately did nothing wrong
Ok but the part about suicidal and stuff was just outright manipulation, idk how you don't see it. It felt eerily like James Somerton's apology with that part.
@@kaizenarias You may not be grasping the gravity of what he is about to lose in addition to what he has lost. Suicide following the destruction of your family/marriage and the destruction of your career/financial stability is not by any means difficult to imagine.
You are completely right, despite the fact atsu is in the wrong because he should have apologized and he sucks as you said, it is sad how his friends abandoned him the moment he stopped being useful to them.
I agree with a lot you say, but talking about suicide as "the ultimate chess move" and a "Galactic attack" is kinda irresponsible. You should probably read a bit about the mere exposure effect. At the very least you could have given the number for the prevention hotline or something. I don't know, I got a weird feeling when you talked about the subject, like you feel people commit suicide as a form of attack on others. And I'm sure some do, but I still feel this was a very blunt discussion of a very very sensitive topic. Which given the size of you audience is somewhat irresponsible. Again, agree with most of the take. But topics like this deserve some care in how they're spoken about.
This is why I love you Smack. Truthful, Blunt and also wise. I wouldn’t also give attention to Atsu since he just has his own intention. Seems like he is really unstable now and I know from studying psychology a lot seeing the situation now he just does things emotionally
Gacha Smack's Pseudo Psychology is getting tiring at this point. Nobody cares about this FAKE AND GAY high school drama ffs. Just get back to doing actual content and theory crafting. This is what the channel is supposed to be about.
That’s why even though if you don’t like the person or like a person we at least need to be friendly/humble.. When you’re an asshole all the damn time and act like you have it all cause everything is going well for you, in the end it’d end up coming back to you in the worst way..
I think you missed the parts where Atsu does NOT want to get acquaintance with his old "friends" anymore and he also want to quit his CC career. Basically that entire group is full of snakes that only cares about themselves so this shit will happen sooner or later anyway. Brax was just the trigger.
Bro felt whatever situation tectone had gone through after being painted as a villain and he’s already losing it. He tried taking everyone down with him including his friends and claims it to be the tectone route lol
Its crazy that Atsu demands evidence for Brax accusations when atsu himself loves to subtweet(accusing other cc) with BELEIVE IT OR NOT, NO EVIDENCE LOL.
It takes a fair deal of maturity to step up and apologize when you're part of a group of people that have done some questionable shit (regardless of who did what). It seems like he never considered that as an option at any point, but hopefully he can learn from this and stop hurting people in the future.
Especially a group of ppl who just ignores stuff, backseat others lives, doesnt own up/step up. Def not the best. Now that his "friends" didnt reach out to when at his lowest, thats gotta be a wake up call and he"ll have to spring clean his friends list soon.
I think in this whole situation, everyone involved was wrong to a degree. Some things they did were valid while others were not and, in the end, Atsu was the one who lost the most out of all of this. It's really sad how this whole thing broke friendships, burnt bridges, and completely turned the community upside down. It can be boiled down to some high school drama type stuff, but because it put so many careers at risk, it became a high school drama with repercussions instead. Atsu shouldn't have tried to take everyone down with him. There's nothing wrong with pointing out things he believes are incorrect, but he also needs to take accountability for the things that he did as well. Or at the very least, don't be upset when people fire right back at him. I think what he has gone through is terrible and I wish him the best for healing, and I think getting off the internet is the best thing he can do in that regard. Brax feeling isolated and not getting the chance for exclusive deals and speaking up about it is not a bad thing and he has the right to stand up for himself. I don't like how he denies his part in Atsu's viewer count going down. The "covid buff" went away like 2 years ago and anyone can see that the situation was the main catalyst for it. I'm happy that he's very successful now but I do hope he doesn't weaponize this whole drama because I think that's the last thing the community needs. I'm going to be honest here and say I don't like Tectone's content. I think it's very predatory and it only creates more toxicity. However, I do acknowledge that he has suffered quite a lot in the past few years and his ability to call BS is second to none. Being an asshole doesn't mean that you aren't human or don't have feelings and I think one of the big takeaways I have from this drama is that having some empathy does help. I hope he has found peace and I also hope that he doesn't milk this drama any further, since I think Atsu has already been through enough, but that's not up to me. As for the whole Pinkchyu thing with Atsu, I don't fully understand what that is about. But her response on Twitter (which I think got deleted? I wasn't able to find it again), was a bit concerning from an emotional standpoint. It's very clear that she also has had gone through some hard times, so I also hope she was able to recover and be able to move forward. I think the comments replying to hers were very uncalled for and very gross, dehumanizing her and just being horrible in general. Denying someone's trauma is never a good look either. As for other content creators like Dish and Tuonto, I don't know how I fully feel about their responses, but it just goes to show that relationships between most content creators are superficial to a degree. They might become more genuine overtime, but all of them know that PR is important. I don't blame them since this is their career and they have the right to defend it. Throwing other under the bus to defend it is something I don't feel ok with but again, since their career would be at risk, at the very least it's understandable but more morally questionable. I feel bad that Zyox and any other uninvolved individual was thrown into this whole situation. It just goes to show that being an online personality always comes with its risks and that you need to be ready and prepared whenever stuff like this comes at you.
Very well said. To add a bit more on the Dish and Tuonto stuff I think Atsu was a bit too harsh, I get your friends not having your back on certain aspects can be frustrating especially so with the predicament Atsu is in, but this is their livelihood, can't say I necessarily blame them for attempting to stay out of it, though people did spin Dish's tweet a while back pretty badly iirc. Also, while I sympathize with Brax's feelings, I can't say I agree with his overall document, I think he could have apologized better for the blacklist stuff at minimum, because that was a big narrative against Atsu when his first doc came out.
nicely said, and about tectone meh, I can see that the man's living his life, and he never really milking drama regarding atsu, most of the time it is atsu who keeps bringing up his name. So by right, tectone has the right to respond.
I have not seen any of his "friends" have his back only comments in YT, Twitter, reddit, etc. No matter what people type or say online none of us really knows the CC. The fact that not one of his friends/coworkers had his back that he has interacted with irl and became closer to was a pretty big sign for me. I do hope he gets help and re-evaluates himself and the people he calls friends.
I love your stance on this and the Mike Tyson quote especially. It's very mature and if Atsu is willing to listen to any creator, I hope he listens to you.
I think some context that people might be missing is that atsu helped brax land a very good contract with hoyoverse and did keep things pretty respectful between them in their personal interaction. now he was also telling his friends about brax and to what degree he bad mouthed him we will never know. sure atsu messed up in that regard but the situation isnt black and white. brax made mistakes jumping to conclusions in some areas, atsu made mistakes and not understanding his influence amongst his friend group, tuonto wasnt honest about having issues with brax and pinned it all on atsu, tectone calling atsu a master manipulator over things that he didnt do (back to my comment about atsu helping brax get a contract with hoyo). even if tectone backtracked or corrected those claims the damage was already done. just weird stuff all around my read of the situation is atsu didnt like how brax was approaching him, maybe said things he shouldnt have said to his friends which led to brax feeling alienated from people he barely knew, which made him paranoid about things that partly involved atsu and partly didnt (like saying he felt like his career was hurt by atsu despite atsu helping him get a contract), but he blamed atsu for all of it. like everyone hates atsu now but honestly I think most people would react the same way when most of the allegations against them are just conspiracies. if this whole thing is going to get sorted out people need to start over form the beginning about what happened and what went wrong and remove all of the conspiracy and looking for a villain but I feel like we're way past that point.
This is a case of people aint maning up from day 1 owning up their mistakes , now all of them are dogshite except zyox probably . Call me cruel i think he's using mental health card to give him a pass. For publishing this idiotic doc. I've been in a darker spot if you wanna end it. You don't use that for drama brother , you just do it.
This made me respect you a lot more! I really dont get why every single CC make video about this unless they are involved in the drama themselves with Atsu. Whoever who isnt involved just wanna farm clout and recognition
Smack I agree with you 100%. That being said, I'm no expert on the matter, but it seems like Atsu isn't ready or to the stage of realizing that he messed up... or he has too much pride to do so !!
I doubt he could make an apology like that, due to the circumstances. He did reflect on the situation, and came to the conclusion that he was wronged. Which, technically from an outside perspective, was true to a degree. It did seem like the main grievance for him was that his friends (one of which he considers a brother) didn't come strongly enough to his defense during the height of the drama, and instead hid or decided to stay neutral/fence sit. Had they strongly refuted a lot of the claims made of Brax and others, maybe public perception would be different. It was the 20v1 of the year before Drake and Kendrick.
I feel you especially on the friends having some backbone. They watched their friend get burnt to a crisp and kept quiet. Just watching the cowardice was crazy to me. I'll be damned if my people did me like that. But I will say that from a different perspective, if he was truly innocent in a sense of not actually lying and manipulating to the degree he was accused of. Its a bit hard to come out and admit fault to something you know you didn't do. Because we have to admit the truly egregious accusations he had were never proven to be true. Him blacklisting people stayed at rumor level. Him having power at hoyoverse stayed at rumor level. His wrongdoing was refusing to network with people for, lets admit, dumb ass reasons. But I will dial it back to say I'm a strong believer that people that are in bad situations must strive to see how they were at fault for letting the situation happen. Because if you don't you are doomed to let it happen again. So I'll have to say majority of your message I agree with.
Some things he did were proved, he had everyone against him on many accusations like being manipulative and badmouthing Brax, I think he could and should have apologized for it because he know he cannot defend himself from these claims given all the proofs, while I agree its hard apologizing for something you've not done, he apologized for nothing Instead he reflected the blame on everyone I dont know how close he was to his friends but he blamed many there from being fake friends because they didnt defend him or even admited some of the things he did, can be considered betrayal or just honesty, but he decided to turn against them definitely, so did he with Brax surprisingly because they talked and clarified everything like adults so that they could move on Honestly.. I just think Atsu managed to get everyone against him with that one, and sadly that mean no one is gonna stand up to defend him on that, first because there is nothing to defend anymore, secondly because there's no one left to defend him
@@Lew98765 i honestly don’t think this last document was a good move either. If my friends were to throw me under the bus to defend themselves I wouldn’t address it publicly. He bit off more than he could chew mentioning all these people.
@@AnimeGeniuss well his friends didnt really try to bring him down either, I just think they didnt defend him or said he may have been a bit manipulative/said bad things on Brax back when the previous drama happened, which was proved by screenshots of a private server anyway The problem is that he apparently kept some grief toward them, I can get that no one really defended him and he didnt like that but he kinda earned that drama, his decisions lead him to this situation, so no one defending him is sad but he also have to take some responsabilities, but instead he started blaming everyone in his last document even people who literaly did nothing and that obviously forced everyone mentionned to react Like even Dish who's not into drama had to defend herself Trully a weird move
I feel like everyone does have a fault. Even though atsu shouldn't have written it that way, but its true. Hes not a victim but hes not wrong either. I think everyone is valid to a certain degree and to make atsu say sorry alone is not going to stop anything. Hes also going through a lot just like everyone else. I think everyone who has participated should accept, acknowledge and have empathy for each other.
You need to accept YOUR own fault before crying to anyone period about anything. Life doesn’t go anywhere by blaming everything else regardless of how true it is. There’s an inner peace to controlling what you can control which is yourself.
Alot of his friends failed him. Tuonto in particular if i am being honest. Alot of shit happens and he is at the centre of it. Yet he just kept quiet and i can see Atsu really trying to helping him. From all of this drama, the 1 thing to learn is to choose ur friends wisely. Choose some1 who will take a stand and help u and will support u in bad times.
I don't think Atsu wanted to take everyone down with him intentionally but rather it became the consequence brought by the manner of how he decided to try to redeem himself. Which was putting everything out to public and was really messed up, regardless if his claims are valid or not. I just hope every cc who tries to make content out this has spent enough time really looking at the story from all sides, coz otherwise they may just be contributing to further misinformation and spreading of allegations.
Despite all the things Atsu has done, I genuinely feel bad for him with how his current state is. All he had to do was apologize, move on and make amends. Even teccy said he would've loved to have Atsu on his podcast. It would've been so fulfilling to see them talk things out.
That is what my family always taught me: when problems arise, reflect on your own actions first, and more often than not you’ll see that it was your fault all along Can’t assign fault to yourself all the time by default, but it’s where one should always start from
You have to be more careful talking about suicide. Treating suicide like a “ultimate chest move” is not only wrong its also incredibly dangerous. Its the exact type of romanticization of the act that people who are at risk will use as justification for self harm when in reality thats not how it works at all.
Interesting viewpoints in the video, I do love seeing people's opinions when those are well articulated such as here. I would also want to ask, though, with regards to the apology... What did Atsu *actually* do wrong, in a way that matters? Now that we know that people's livelihoods weren't affected, nor were they at stake, his misdemeanours seem to be... Being rude? At worst, excluding someone from social events? Sure, you can say that's not a nice thing to do, I'd agree, but at the end of the day... Who cares? This is no matter that deserves to blow up to the degree it did. I didn't even know Atsu existed before this whole thing, personally, but I can't help but feel like there was next to nothing he did here that deserved this level of vitriol, hate, and proportion. (IMO, ideally, he should not have responded at all. Who the hell cares if someone you - general you - met years back felt like they got disliked for no reason. Why even entertain this. This is adult life, not highschool.)
as a person who has tried to keep up with everything, atsu bad mouthed (to whatever degree) brax due to brax being paranoid or weird and that likely led to his friend group avoiding brax or not really caring about him. brax became paranoid and assumed that because atsu didnt like him that he was being blacklisted from events which is........not entirely true but is in a way. atsu did help brax land a contract with hoyoverse, but due to brax talking to hoyoverse employees about the drama atsu eventually said that he didnt want to be at events with him (he felt like talking to employees about this was a huge overreach over nothing). now from what I could gather these arent hoyo sponsored events but more personal creator events like tuonto hosted an event so brax wasnt invited (tuonto also at the time didnt like brax due to him accidentally doxxing his then girlfriend). now I dont really understand all the different events that brax was talking about (or even atsu) but from what I could gather the specific "exclusion" was from personal events
This is kinda how I feel, at least with Brax and Atsu, I recall seeing Brax's document a while back so learning that he wasn't blacklisted made me feel odd when that was Brax's main point. The shit talk (if you would even call it that) and picture things feel like nitpicks and don't seem like a big deal. Don't personally know about anything other creators and Atsu, and I might do digging into it later, since there is some stuff with Tectone and him apparently but in terms of Brax and Atsu stuff, I've yet to see anything he did that is worthwhile actually mentioning/scrutinizing.
TLDR ,atsu loves to subtweet(accusing people with no evidence),then brax responded with his bad experience with atsu(note that someones experience is not strong evidence). Now Atsu demands evidence for brax claims.NOW HE KNOWS THE FEELING WHEN SOMEONE GOT ACCUSED WITH NO EVIDENCE,MAYBE DONT SUBTWEET PEOPLE IN THE FIRST PLACE LOL. In present,he still does not acknowledge his own fault and blaming other people.
@@FremKnightLazI think you've displayed a lack of maturity here. As is commonly said, people with lots of influence must be very aware of how they use that influence. They cannot afford to use it carelessly and they also cannot afford to pretend that they do not have it. This is the reason why it is irresponsible for influencers to date their fans. And unfortunately this is the lesson that Atsu is learning the hard way with regards to the Brax situation. So here are the things Astu did wrong with regards to Brax 1. He called Brax a creep in his clique of big hoyo creators. Atsu said that he did not blacklist Brax but that simply does not cut it when he's doing. With his level of influence and control that might as well be blacklisting. 2. He actively discouraged people from interacting with Brax I believe when asked about Brax he said something like "I don't like Brax because he's untrustworthy and a creep and he spreads rumours and is using me to move his career forward but if you want to contact him, you can." That last sentence does not absolve him here. What he's doing is blatant and obvious. 3. He positioned himself as the gatekeeper of his friend group. Atsu claimed that there is no need for people to expect to be invited to parties or hang out with his friends. Additionally he claimed that he dislikes it when people use others to grow their platform. So he positioned himself in a place where he could gatekeep who interacted with who. But this was just a dumb move on his part.
Self reflection and taking responsibility for one’s action is such a huge thing to have, for yourself and the people around you. Atsu definitely needs to. Also , suicide/attempts are extremely serious, but leading this entire document with it and going into what he did is wack
This has all the marks of someone wielding suicide for pity points and as a shield from criticism. It was immediately mentioned in his tweet and then again in the opening of the Google doc. This was almost certainly a very intentional and calculated appeal to emotion to draw people to his side before launching into a scorched earth 34 page screed. It's all consistent with his past emotionally manipulative and sociopathic behavior. He even had some of his own chat mods calling it out as such.
Idk usually people with sociopathic and or narcissistic tendencies don’t tend to attempt to take their life and I don’t think it’s fair to speculate about manipulation here considering the seriousness of his mental situation
@@xoxolrvtnz "usually people with sociopathic and or narcissistic tendencies don’t tend to attempt to take their life" Think about this for a second. You're almost there. A true statement in a vacuum but also completely useless and irrelevant in specific cases such as this when context and specific facts are known. We know for a FACT he has a history of slander and manipulation. All of which is consistent with the very 34 page document in question. Also even if we were give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he's not lying or greatly exaggerating about suicide he's still wielding it in the most disgusting way possible before launching into a scorched earth screed. Invoking suicide is not a free pass to throw haymakers unchallenged but that's exactly what he's trying to do. "I don’t think it’s fair to speculate about manipulation" We don't have to speculate. He has a history of it and it's in our face right now. It's clearly working on some people, too.

The way Atsu handled himself with the entire fiasco is like banking all of your stats on Crit Damage and no Crit Rate and instantly flopping with his AOE nuke in the CC community.
I geniuenly think he would have been fine if he just returned and streamed genshin without ever saying shit. Do few giveaways, pretend u care about Natlan trailer in a month, and ppl would have forgotten in 3 months.
You all seem to forget that it all started when tectone threw shade at atsu because he thought he had the ability to give anyone contracts hoyo related. This was with brax whispering in tectone's ears about this. Crazy thing? Brax already had a contract with hoyo. Atsu hinted at this, saying someone was telling tectone behind the scenes about all this contracted related stuff. Come to find out, it was actually brax spreading all this misinformation. How do we know this? The idiot dropped the first initial doc, blaming atsu for not being able to make friends. Everything in that initial doc had no proof, just pure rumors he heard. No receipts or proof and everyone ate that up. Say what you want about atsu, but at least he has proof that everyone around him is two faced as hell. Remember kids, just be friends with everyone from now on. You never know when not befriending someone like brax, might come back to bite you in the ass.
how did the narrative become atsu can give people hoyo contracts? the original point is that he has a very strong relationship with hoyo and his word holds a big sway in the space, which was proven by emails/messages from hoyo staff asking atsu for who they should use for events. brother, you just got manipulated by that little rat and you dont even see it. pretty sad
@@lsmsm9 you do know they ask this of Brax as well right? Or do you not have the brain capacity to come to these conclusions? It’s the same thing as doing surveys in genshin, and them asking you where you get information on genshin itself. Since we all do these surveys, that means we can give out contracts too right? He can offer recommendations, but the decision ultimately goes to hoyo. Atsu even voiced for brax when he was asked about the possibility of doing an event. You even saying he has sway holds no ground. Tuonto has biggers numbers than atsu, and it was shown he didn’t like brax. It’s probably more fair to say that tuonto would be more willing to blacklist brax than atsu. Btw, there was no blacklisting going on cause brax already had a contract with hoyo. If he was blacklisted, how the hell did he get the deal?
@@lsmsm9 because tectone formed that narative and then twisted it when all the docs started to drop Also your prized CC in tectone also holds as much influence as Atsu does but you dont hold him accountable? strange...

@@natediaz1863 he himself has admitted to gatekeeping his friendgroups, being overly judgemental and spreading rumors about other cc's on his stream and tweets alone. Not to mention all the other shit he's done like ruining friendships, manipulating, intentionally misconstruing situations between cc's to shift blame (i.e zy0x), blaming his friends for multiple things that were his own fault, and lying multiple times on streams like asmongolds. The list can go on much longer but i think this should suffice as to what he shouldve held accountability for in his doc.
@@zankoushadow what did he lie about on Asmonds stream? And the rest is just Tectone narrative. So what if he gatekeeps friend groups. I'm pretty sure every friend group does that 😂 and he didn't ruin tectones friendship with goose, goose is just a soft baby that couldnt handle one little line. Intentional misconstruing is more Tectone narrative. You all have nothing and canceled a dude because Tectone told you to. Stop being his puppet.
@@natediaz1863 lying about the photo, and also changing up the story multiple times of why he was initially "weirded" out by brax, im not gonna go over every single one from the 5 hour stream. Theres a difference between not letting some people in your friend group and gatekeeping it to the point even the people in that friendgroup are having a problem with it. He literally was the cause of tectone and goose's friendship ending, he was the reason so many people spammed his live chat with that and led to the situation in the first place. Intentional misconstruing isn't anyones narrative atsu formatted the entire doc well and had someone proofread it, its obvious he intentionally tried making the zy0x situation worse than it was as he also said in his stream that it involved multiple girls and they may have been pressured to drink all over a situation 2 years ago. Thats very obviously him trynna throw his friends under the bus. And thats only the situation i gave as an example but he brought up so many other things that have been resolved in public/private for no reason just to stir up more drama. Theres a lot of things as ive mentioned that atsu has done wrong and not taken full accountability. Like whether it was intentional or not he spread negative bias to the other cc's in his circle to the point they themselves have came out and said he is over judgemental and have tried to check his behavior in private. When everyone except your fans/twitter people are against you i think theres a big reason for that and its not just because of tectone which many cc's against atsu rn dont even like either. Based off the evidence it points to the fact everything atsu said in his yap fest of a doc had no substantial proof that he showed only 5% of it being relevant and was a weak attempt at trying to get back at every cc in the space. Having a opposing opinion doesnt make someone a puppet.

I dont know about this take you made Gacha Smack. You're basically saying that Atsu should give in and apologize to everyone who is bullying him, instead of defending himself? With this logic, you can might as well say that Tectone should just stop and apologize to everyone who tries to cancel him on twitter. I think a man should be allowed to try and defend himself from bullying, even if he is the one in the wrong. Good video tho
Finally someone get's it. When I heard Smack say what he said... My reaction was: "Wtf? Why should he apologize for?". That's crazy... I feel like there are too many sharks in the pond and that's where the problem lies.
Why shouldn't he apologize for screwing brax, tactone and goose over? If he is knows how bad it is when people's relationships and mental health are ruined because of him, why doesn't he apologize?
Defense requires introspection and accountability. Lashing out at everyone while ignoring your wrongdoings is not a defense. Especially when your wrongdoings are plain as day
Yoo man I ran into your stream last night on twitch while you were giving people great advice on accountability and health. I just wanted to say I took what you said with consideration man, it wasn't just motivating hearing you words and wisdom yesterday it was meaningful and eye opening man, I hope you know I appreciated it even if I wasn't the one that asked the questions, some, if not all your answers you gave us were genuine and more than plausible. Its crazy that he demands evidence for brax accusations while he openly subtweets people WITH NO EVIDENCE AT ALL(accusing other cc of something without evidence)
I think even Asmond touched upon the "grace period" Atsu had. I hate drama in general, I get it gets traction and all that, but honestly this is just a gaming space, likely the gacha one at that, and that's all it really is. The way people try and create weird drama and hate is just really unnecessary, but I mean, if people need to start a fire just to provoke and cause harm to others, it just means they must be real miserable, and sad individuals who had a rough time in life, and chose to sit in that dark space. Can't save those who choose to harm others and themselves, over lifting them instead. It's always a choice anyone, and everyone makes going forward in life. Regardless, staying out of that circle of troublemakers is always the best move, and just focusing on creating good content is what all truly good, and memorable creators do. Thanks for keeping it real as always, Smack. Keep it simple, and focus on the positive growth everybody!

I agree they should take at least some accountability for it. Two sides effed up.
heh ironic.. considering tectone and Co are preaching accountability out the wahzuu... theres an irony that these people should be held accountable but Atsu was made the scapegoat and cross bearer for these CCs sins when he ultimately did nothing wrong

From all the video's released on the situation so far this is by far the most rational and intelligent. Deserves more views in my opinion.
I didnt read all of that but I like the non-biased take
Dam what a nuanced and solid take, great job. If you don't mind me asking, what did Pinkychus tweet even say?
I think the problem is Atsu genuinely doesn't think he did anything wrong. So he can't apologize.

Its actually insane how selfish and "non-manipulative" people can be.(Im not talking about Atsu LOL)
I love your stance on this and the Mike Tyson quote especially. It's very mature and if Atsu is willing to listen to any creator, I hope he listens to you.
I think some context that people might be missing is that atsu helped brax land a very good contract with hoyoverse and did keep things pretty respectful between them in their personal interaction. now he was also telling his friends about brax and to what degree he bad mouthed him we will never know. sure atsu messed up in that regard but the situation isnt black and white. brax made mistakes jumping to conclusions in some areas, atsu made mistakes and not understanding his influence amongst his friend group, tuonto wasnt honest about having issues with brax and pinned it all on atsu, tectone calling atsu a master manipulator over things that he didnt do (back to my comment about atsu helping brax get a contract with hoyo). even if tectone backtracked or corrected those claims the damage was already done. just weird stuff all around
my read of the situation is atsu didnt like how brax was approaching him, maybe said things he shouldnt have said to his friends which led to brax feeling alienated from people he barely knew, which made him paranoid about things that partly involved atsu and partly didnt (like saying he felt like his career was hurt by atsu despite atsu helping him get a contract), but he blamed atsu for all of it. like everyone hates atsu now but honestly I think most people would react the same way when most of the allegations against them are just conspiracies. if this whole thing is going to get sorted out people need to start over form the beginning about what happened and what went wrong and remove all of the conspiracy and looking for a villain but I feel like we're way past that point.

idk you but you seem very well composed idk why he called you out
Smack I agree with you 100%. That being said, I'm no expert on the matter, but it seems like Atsu isn't ready or to the stage of realizing that he messed up... or he has too much pride to do so !!
I dont think a man that got cheated has pride anymore, a 10+ marriage ended, its like grieving.
Atsu definitely does not have pride as of right now. Hes going through a divorce and a whole crap ton of drama + serious things.
3:45 wise words SmackDaddyKing
Kinda remind me of INAZUMA archon quest
Some things he did were proved, he had everyone against him on many accusations like being manipulative and badmouthing Brax, I think he could and should have apologized for it because he know he cannot defend himself from these claims given all the proofs, while I agree its hard apologizing for something you've not done, he apologized for nothing
Instead he reflected the blame on everyone
I dont know how close he was to his friends but he blamed many there from being fake friends because they didnt defend him or even admited some of the things he did, can be considered betrayal or just honesty, but he decided to turn against them definitely, so did he with Brax surprisingly because they talked and clarified everything like adults so that they could move on
Honestly.. I just think Atsu managed to get everyone against him with that one, and sadly that mean no one is gonna stand up to defend him on that, first because there is nothing to defend anymore, secondly because there's no one left to defend him

The problem is that he apparently kept some grief toward them, I can get that no one really defended him and he didnt like that but he kinda earned that drama, his decisions lead him to this situation, so no one defending him is sad but he also have to take some responsabilities, but instead he started blaming everyone in his last document even people who literaly did nothing and that obviously forced everyone mentionned to react
Like even Dish who's not into drama had to defend herself
Trully a weird move
If he acknowledged his own issues which were there aplenty, it would be a lot easier to hold other people accountable.
Being self-righteous doesn’t do anything
Alot of his friends failed him. Tuonto in particular if i am being honest. Alot of shit happens and he is at the centre of it. Yet he just kept quiet and i can see Atsu really trying to helping him. From all of this drama, the 1 thing to learn is to choose ur friends wisely. Choose some1 who will take a stand and help u and will support u in bad times.
ultimately atsu's fault tbh
I don't think Atsu wanted to take everyone down with him intentionally but rather it became the consequence brought by the manner of how he decided to try to redeem himself. Which was putting everything out to public and was really messed up, regardless if his claims are valid or not. I just hope every cc who tries to make content out this has spent enough time really looking at the story from all sides, coz otherwise they may just be contributing to further misinformation and spreading of allegations.

Hey
@@iman-c5f im like 90% sure brax subtweeted him first on his private account. brax subtweeted him after atsu told him that he didnt want to be friends
So here are the things Astu did wrong with regards to Brax
1. He called Brax a creep in his clique of big hoyo creators.
Atsu said that he did not blacklist Brax but that simply does not cut it when he's doing. With his level of influence and control that might as well be blacklisting.
2. He actively discouraged people from interacting with Brax
I believe when asked about Brax he said something like "I don't like Brax because he's untrustworthy and a creep and he spreads rumours and is using me to move his career forward but if you want to contact him, you can."
That last sentence does not absolve him here.
But this was just a dumb move on his part.
you should read the ending part, he said he is alright after all that suicide note. mind you, i dont have any qualm for someone like him to disappear
@@xoxolrvtnz "usually people with sociopathic and or narcissistic tendencies don’t tend to attempt to take their life"
Think about this for a second.
"I don’t think it’s fair to speculate about manipulation"
We don't have to speculate. He has a history of it and it's in our face right now. It's clearly working on some people, too.
No cap, I'm far more interested on your take on the Kendrick/BBL Drizzy shenanigans from May than this gacha-game drama.
My takeaway from all this is Atsu's friends failed him, which made him fail everyone else.
Then why would it be his failure on everyone else? He has a right to fight back.
At the end of the day, it's all on him. He's got nothing to blame but himself.
@@natediaz1863 When someone isn't steered in the right direction or feel they don't have any support, they'll lash out like this. I've seen it, I've felt it, and it's why I always try to at least help a friend understand where they were wrong before abandoning them pending on how serious it is.
@@thegorgon3 He put himself in that position. He burned his own bridges.
It's everyone else's fault. None of mine. I'm a very innocent man.

Atsu never looked at HIMSELF!!! May God open his soul...
@@lsmsm9 because tectone formed that narative and then twisted it when all the docs started to drop Also your prized CC in tectone also holds as much influence as Atsu does but you dont hold him accountable? strange...
Because it doesnt form there narative that atsu is an Evil manipulator behind that scenes... mans been on vacations and venues these past few months doing all sorts of stuff for miyoho as well.

Broooo. There's thousands of videos coming out on this drama and this is the only one you should watch!
This is why smack is my favorite. Right here man. Big facts everything you said. And the fact this is the route you chose to respond..speaks to YOUR character. But sadly people like Atsu arent built like this. Sad. You the man smack.
A level headed video on the situation... I agree on everything by the way.
I strongly disagree. Apologizing would be the worst possible move. You want him to become your bitch, that's all.
not taking accountability is worse than apologizing, apologizing when your wrong it doesnt make you a bitch it shows your mature.
@@zankoushadowlol what does Atsu have to take accountability for? He did absolutely nothing wrong that can be proven.
It's refreshing to watch Smack's take instead of all these other finger pointing reacts, like an actual adult lol

You really gonna hold him "accountable" for this one? and not the one who tried to bring everyone down with him and tried to carefully word in a SA allegation???

This is the best take of all he videos I watched so far addressing the Nuke drama... Thanks Smack, made my day
Na bro atsu trying to be ayanokoji😂😂😂
He should be now, after that docu dropped involving other content creators lol.
He was literally throwing a grenade.
