Garou in definition is the real hero. He destest "heroes" who treats what they do as a job, competing over each other for superiority and gloat on how special they are. Garou's main goal was beating down heroes, removing them from their high horse and humiliating them for their hypocrisy, hence the constant speech about becoming the "Ultimate Evil". When defeated, he dared the heroes to kill him, which they were more than willing to, now in MHA the definition of heroism is that villains can kill you, but you must never kill them, only beating them, and Garou never kills any heroes he defeated, if you think about it, Garou is living by MHA Heroism rule by pure coincident, he does protect innocent civilians and so the "Heroes" are the real villains in his eyes. He'll break Homelander's jaw at his speech of how special he is.

He only felt remorse after someone close to him got hurt he didn’t so much as flinch after killing Robin. Deep has taken advantage of multiple women. And that’s just one roster. Storm front was a pyscho nazi bitch and lamp lighter burned children alive. Translucent seemed like a bad guy too. Super sonic was a decent guy but a train ratted him out to homelander. He doesn’t kill any heroes that he hunts I’m pretty sure even though the a ranks were ready to kill him right there. He also saves that one kid over and over. Garou would keep trying to be the villain by killing them but he’d end up a hero to the people as a result. Publicly branded a villain by Vought, yet he’d be saving more lives than he’d be taking. Sounds like a perfect situation for him. He gets to be seen as a villain by the powerful but act heroically as he wants to towards the weak.
Garou beats up heroes but doesn't kill. Maybe if he's in the boys, Garou would make an exception once he found out how messed up Vought's "heroes" really are.

Just because we as readers, viewers, etc, know the heroes in the boys are corrupted and evil, doesnt mean the people do. All the stuff they do is behind the scenes and they are manipulative people. An example of this is a boy with cancer asking to see his favorite hero translucent, showing he loves the heroes. If Garou showed up and started killing them, he would be branded as a villain by vought and by the media. The pubic would not love Garou

Not only that, it is also immediately after having beaten multiple heroes in said weakened state, sustaining multiple injuries and literally being poisoned, making him even worse.

It’s quite important to keep in mind that most authors don’t intend for their characters to be “light speed” when they dodge things moving at or near the speed of light. The vast majority of the time something like this happens in a series, it’s pretty clear the characters are reacting to the person aiming the blasts, not the beams themselves. It’s a feat of prediction infinitely more than raw reflexes. Real humans dodge bullets all the time in instances of armed conflict. They don’t do it by seeing the bullet.

Hero hunter Garou wouldn’t be able to one shot someone like Homelander. He’s definitely going to be his biggest obstacle in his human form. But still, I think he’s capable of whooping Homelander’s @ss. Really because of his flowing water technique and because he’s an actual competent fighter. Unlike Homelander. But he would need to be very careful cause if he doesn’t rely on his flowing water technique (at this point in the story he was still very stubborn in not using it) he could die from either Homelander tackling him at insane speed. Or just going “fuck it” and just uses his laser vision.

So even if Garou dosent one shot Homelander, he would still make quick work of him. Even assuming Homelander can survive nukes, that still only puts him at multi city block level to town level. @@pugy2000 Honestly, using scaling is a bit weird. If we were using all his feats from beginning to the latest chapter then yeah it’d be useful. But this is only base Garou. All you need to do is look at his fights from his debut to right before his limiter starts cracking. And more importantly, look at the full context of his fights and not oversimplify it. Like his fight with Tanktop Master. Garou didn’t just overwhelm Tanktop with raw strength. In fact, he was forced to rely on flowing water technique to be able to dominate Tanktop. Basically having to use Tanktop’s strength to defeat him. By using the technique it implies that Tanktop was physically stronger than him. Or you can look at his fight with Metal Bat, which is the easiest to determine how durable Garou is. Garou admits that had even one of Bat’s attacks landed, he would have lost. Metal Bat during the peak of that fight, was capable of destroying buildings. But even earlier, his attacks were still a threat to Garou. Not to mention, that last strike he made before his sister interrupted was too fast for Garou to fully react. And Murata did say that Metal Bat is slower than Sonic. So therefore, Garou is even slower than Sonic. But I think the best example on why Garou isn’t multi city level in durability during this part of the story is by looking at his interaction with Saitama. Garou literally passes out after one strike from Saitama. Keep in mind, Saitama thought he was just some random guy picking a fight with him. So he obviously held back, hitting him without lethal intent. Not to mention, arrows can pierce his skin with ease, Golden Ball’s bullets could also cut Garou. But like I said, Garou still has a good chance at defeating Homelander, it’s just that Homelander could easily kill Garou if he gets cocky. And at this early in the story, Garou was pretty arrogant. Like more arrogant than I remember. He takes down one S rank hero and thinks he’s the goat. Basically, his ego could be his downfall. Especially if he doesn’t expect Homelander to be shooting laser beams out of his eyes. Garou has no way of countering that with flowing water. It’s all dependent on if Homelander feels like beating down Garou rather than the ol reliable. If he does try to fight him with brute force, he’ll get a nasty beating from flowing water. It’ll basically be like what happened with Tanktop Master, but it’ll last a bit longer. Again, I just want to say that I do think Garou can win and even give Homelander a good beating with flowing water. Would love to see that animated cause screw Homelander. But I just want to be fair and unbiased about this. Unlike how a lot of Garou fans are behaving in this comment section. Not including you of course. I’m just saying that Garou still has a reasonable chance of dying horribly by Homelander. If he gets too cocky. It may very well end similar to how his fight with Metal Bat went. Even A class heroes like Lightning Max are city block level, which is higher than any actual feats Homelander has. And I'm a bit confused on where you're coming from with the flowing water argument, I think I get what you're trying to say, but Garous whole thing has always been replicating techniques and so it should be considered as part of his arsenal. As far as Metal Bat goes, you seem to be low balling him significantly, in the hypothetical Carnage Kabuto fights Metal Bat lasted longer than most of the other S class heroes, which puts him at least at large town level. And that would have taken place around season one, so he should have become stronger by season two as in the manga when he was working with garou rather than against him, he was at least continent level (I'm not saying he was that strong in their fight, I'm just using it as an example for him getting stronger). As for the Saitama argument, I would say that's valid, but Saitama is always as strong as he needs to be to be funny or cool. They weren't going to do a Garou vs Saitama fight so early, so he was supposed to be funny rather than cool. Not to mention Saitama has one shotted characters like Carnage Kabuto who he didn't see as a threat, but I see where you're coming from. Seeing how the Seven is a poster team who rarely exert their full strength for anything (and when they do their emotions get the better of them) so I can easily see Garou soloing the entire team.
You also forgot to mention that fist of flowing water crushing rock(or what ever it’s called lol) Garous primary martial arts style, is literally designed to turn an opponents strength against them. Which given homelander limited fighting skills, would get absolute BODIED by this technique.
Garou was just like saitama he would come back from even death just because it made him stronger. The manga even said he was "breaking his limiter" meaning he was close to becoming what saitama was. He just couldn't. But he'd straight roll this entire verse after fighting a few of them and getting stronger. Even if someone were to best him, he'd come back stronger.

Here's the problem: if he's defeated by any if The Seven, he's going to be killed on the spot. These guys will kill outright, unlike the heroes in the OPM verse when it comes to human villains.
That's base garou. The garou inside monster association tanked lazer beams that turned rock to lava. And when I say tanked - they literally didn't do any damage to him. He just stood in the lazer. Same lazer vaporized a 1 km tunnel of rock with the diameter of at least 20-30 meters under the earth when used against saitama.
Garou's sheer adaptability and speed is enough to never be at risk. Add that on top of his scaling during fights, he would definitely eventually outpace and harm Homelander eventually

You forgot the most important skill Garou has. In One Punch Man emotions and wishes can take place with hard work and focus, it's the entire reason the monsters exist and why Saitama is as strong as he js. Garou would consistently get stronger and stronger if Homelander can't land a killing blow (which is insanely unlikely) until he could decimate him with one hit. I totally get going off of feats (it's the easiest way to compare strength), but this is a very important factor that got overlooked
Garou is a Genius Martial Arts Prodigy and has Superior Techniques/Skills. While Homelander is unskilled and has no Fighting Styles. He is just a Brawler.
One thing to ALWAYS remember when talking about this, is how much energy will really hit you. Taking a tsar bomba explosion is NOT the same as getting a 300 kt - 2 mt punch. You can NEVER just look at the numbers. In a 50 mt explosion you won't get hit by all the energy, only some of it, in a 2 mt punch you will get hit with most of the energy. Try taking a 100 joule punch to the face, that's gonna hurt, now take the 100 joule from a .22.
It's basically the principle behind a sword. Getting hit with a 6 pound block of wood will hurt, but a 6 pound sword condenses all of that force into an incredibly small space that can't absorb it
Remember that homelander isn't as strong as stated, during his fight against butcher and soldier boy he was getting hurt by punches that couldn't break a wall
I cannot stress enough, all this is Garou's WEAKEST FORM. It gets to the point where each punch contains not only the power of a nuclear bomb but also the radioactive fallout! And he does this something like 300 times in under a second. And that aint even close to his strongest form. Everyone is like not even a nuke could kill Homelander, try 300. Point is Homelanders a tadpole, whereas Garou is a dragon with the intent to be the most dangerous thing in the universe.
13:15 Garou can sense the "killing intent" very clearly when he fought against the 8 heroes who are A-Class. B-Class and are superhuman at this point and Overgrown Rover a monster that was able to cause a earthquake.
Are we strictly talking Hero Hunter Garou? When he's still fully human? I would say he solos the other guys with minimal difficulty. Homelander would probably be tough though. If we're talking any form past season 2 he solos all at the same time zero effort including Homelander. Red Garou is easily a high dragon level threat and defeats Darkshine with mid difficulty. Monster Garou is above dragon. Defeats Bang and Bomb, kills Vomited Fuehrer Ugly with a single kick. Overpowers Evil Natural Water, Golden Sperm, trillions of Black Sperm and Homeless Emperor in 100ths to 1000ths of a second. All of which are high dragon level threats. Defeats Flashy Flash who is possible as fast as light speed if not faster. Kills Platinum Sperm with minimal difficulty. Kills Sage Centipede who doesn't even get a threat level. Just a "???". In a single chop. He transforms several times after that and is possibly planet level. Cosmic Garou is galactic + maybe multi-galactic if you high ball him.
Okay Garou did not defeat Darkshine, I mean mostly because Tatsumaki interfered. However, Garou would have high diff if Darkshine overcame his insecurity. Other than that yes, post season 2 Garou can defeat any of the “heroes” in The Boys

His success in hero hunting wasn't even about his durability or damage output His martial arts were the main contributor most "heroes" in The Boys aren't even at the level of trained soldiers when it comes to skills, they're mostly bullies so even if they have matching speed, and let's even give them more power, Garou would still dominate with skills alone
Actually I would say his main contributor was the hero association catalog, it gave him information on alot of hero’s technique weapon’s and abilities. So even if he bumped into a random hero on the street, he wouldn’t be caught off guard by their abilities
Yeah, not only hislevel of skill but his geniusness aswell. Even if they learned some martial arts somehow, Garou would just study that shit in like a picosecond. His skill and brains contributed about 70% to his journey.
It's not about "Can Garou defeat the Seven, Homelander included". It's more about "Can Garou beat the Seven, Homelander included, before it comes time for lunch since he still needs to find and beat King". Let's be honest, even base form Garou has shown enough feats for us to make a comfortable conclusion that he will beat the will to live out of most of them and by the time he gets around his post TTM fight, he is already strong enough to make HL his bitch. Which is all too in line with Garou since "heroes" in The Boys universe exhibit ALL the traits Garou hates about most heroes. That being, that most of them are heroes because of fame and money, not because they want to actually help people.
Garou did come close but as the fight progressed Garou’s rate of copying became inconsequential compared to Saitama’s exponential growth. Garou even damaged Saitama in one panel.

I think Garou being in the boys would be really interesting from a story aspect. the fact that he easily contends with them is a great addition though.
Gorou is so strong, he would just have fun with them. He'd even likely let Homelander get a few licks just to show off and fight back to the point Homelander is brutally beaten. Luckily, Gorou doesn't kill any of the heroes (at least the one we're talking about) and just beats them to ensure they will remember the beating.
You have a guy with actual training, the ability to adapt & evolve. You have a team with super powers with no sense of responsibility / training. Eventually Garou is going to fold them.

But those are just something Human form Garou can do easily. So strength goes to Garou
Let’s be dead serious here, this isn’t even considering awakened Garou, who quite literally hit the planet hard enough to send shockwaves through it, fought hand to hand with a guy who destroyed a moon with the flick of his hand, and threw a punch strong enough to not only cause a huge gap in the cosmos, but also met the power of the main character after his friend died and there were flashbacks to happy moments, which we all know is impossible. All of this is just Garou in the anime. In the Manga Cosmic Garou straight up has divine power. He causes the death of most people on the planet just by existing, because of the radiation poisoning. Moreover, he scaled decently with Saitama while copying him, and reached planet destroying levels easy
The Monster Association that Garou fought was against Royal Ripper. Bug God. the three Demon Level Monster's. and Gyoro-Gyoro(Psykos) and Orochi the Monster King.
Honestly I think it would be strikingly similar to the fight in the show/comics. The seven would use tactics to try to pin Garou into some compromising positions, landing semi-damaging blows here and there. But just trike in the show, he would simply power through and then adeptly either outright defeat or outmaneuver each of the seven. Honestly the most dangerous combo to me is Starlight and A-Train/Homelander, as the combination of hyperfast attacks and strengths being supported by blinding or stunning Garou might give some larger opportunities to damage him. (Although, power scaling wise it's unlikely they could ever truly kill him)
Yeah, the true strength of Garou is his power scaling just getting broken everytime he’s near death. To kill him would need it to be quick and not give him the chance to evolve.. (Forgot her name) the lady who explodes brain matter still technically count as the Seven so she may/may not be able to finish Garou in less than 10 second without him even realizing what’s going on. Or that Kid with insane telekinesis and then the Vomit guy combo could end him fairly quick. (Darkshine is comparatively far superior than Garou in terms of Defense and Body mass yet stomach Acid could still kill him in second so i believe Garou will be quicker dealt with)

And if A Train can dodge Starlights lasers than why couldn't Garou? I think that in a way Homelander being impossible to be dealt with using modern weapons also takes his speed into consideration, but also fact that nobody in their right mind wants to test out nukes on the guy, and nobody wants to try to hit man this fast with a Nuke if his speed is to be taken into account. Trying to hit a Supe with such speed and durability is gonna do horrifying demage, even if corporation can whip out and use nukes they're likely unwilling to use them as doing so would be a catastrophically bad idea.
Actually Russian test’s dates on Soldier Bot in the show coincide with infamous IRL Tzar Bomb test done in that one Russian village. He survived it unscathed and developed mini-nuke powers. Homelander is tougher and stronger than Soldier Boy, by a little bit. So, nuke would not work on him either. Actually, people really over-estimated the explosive power of a nuke. In a sense that all of that force is spread around the very small epicenter of explosion, as opposed to being concentrated in a single spot. Nuke loses a lot of power due to the large blast radius. Nuke might be BS level of destructiveness against humans, but it is very survivable when taking meta-humans into account - since they are unlikely to be hit with the very epicenter of it. But even that does not really matter. Garou is able to reflect the force dished out, and it was shown that Homelander can get hurt by SB’s attacks, so, he DEFINITELY gets hurt by his own attacks. So, it won’t be a challenge. The brute-force fight would go just like it did with Dark-steel alloy body-builder guy. The ONLY challenge Garou would face are Homelander’s “lasers”. But since they obviously don’t travel at a speed of light in the show, he will dodge them exactly like he dodged Geno’s attacks. So, Garou wins, even if in base form.
Laser would be a problem for base Garou. But he would be able to dodge them, unlike Superman’s heat vision etc. If it comes to tossing fists, he wins, since Homelander can be hurt by the punches he dishes out.
Honestly, Garou would be more than a match for any supe in the Boys. Him at the beginning of the series is enough to take out like most of the Seven, and he wouldn't need to make it even halfway through his total evolutions to beat the remaining few.
The 7 are like a reverse jawbreaker, and garou is your teeth. The 7’ll be taken out easily till he gets to homelander in the center in which it’ll take some time to weaken him, but in the end, even if garou gets injured somehow, he’ll win eventually. That’s also a pretty big “if”

He beat Dark Shine the strongest man on the planet while he was barely conscious. And withstood blow after blow from Bang and Bomb. He's got everything he needs to beat the seven. Especially homelander bc he used to fighting people who use long ranged attacks.

And flashy flash is the second fastest hero in the series under Saitama. The fact that Garo was able to beat Darkshine in a head on clash shows how strong he really is. Monster Garou is way too overkill. That version is already borderline planetary and easily faster than Light. We're talking about Human Garou with Grey Hair and even that version can solo the 7 pretty easily (only if we massively highball Homelander does it even come close).
Even if The Seven could beat him, they'd likely only be sent in to capture him for study. As Garou, through training and being gifted alone, was able to reach a level of strength that allowed him to take out Tank Top Master with just a few serious blows. And even brought the fight with Genos to a stalemate despite being absolutely abused just moments before the fight. He achieved this strength naturally, which in the universe of The Boys, is absolutely unheard of. Not to mention his insane spurts of growth that he experiences DURING battle. The Seven, even if they could contend with an early Garou while teaming up on him, they'd all be annihilated in minutes if they didn't kill him immediately.

Great video. I did also want to say that the way Garou fights means Homelander's superhuman strength would ultimately work against him. Multiple times in the manga has it been shown that strength is actually a negative factor for Garou's opponents if they cannot match up to his speed. He would simply turn all of Homelander's punches against him and he would be out of options.
Yeah. Given that Homelander could be damaged by punches from Soldier Boy, he definitely would lose there. It would be a nice twist if Homelander were to be magnitudes more durable than he is stronger (akin to Saitama). With A-Train's top speed, it's important to realize he is running on a 1/4 mile track, which keeps him running in a tight circle and is likely unable to reach his true top speed.
One note about that, having a high top running speed is basically worthless in a fight. While a Bugatti Veyron can hit a higher top end than a Formula 1 car the F1 will absolutely DOMINATE the Veyron around Laguna Seca. Being able to run fast does not mean you can punch fast.
Deep Sea King has feats far beyond all of the boys. So this is a hard stomp in Garou's favor. Seeing how pre Tank Top Master hero hunter Garou would low dif Deep Sea King.
Depending which version of Garuo you put up against the seven. Without a doubt he would win. Probably the version of garuo that went up against the dog and the monster king guy. But in general a more fair match might have been someone from the invincible universe. The boys are strong but they are in one punch man worlds. Threat level demon. Whereas invincible can be a threat level dragon. God would be too much of a push but it gives the idea how weaker the boys world is. Compared to invincible. Good much up but is a quick and easy answer to say the least. But honestly that is a very interesting idea to have garuo in the boys universe. In the end that’s a perfect story with him added

Even based purely on his exceptional human conditioning and we can say “ki” or training based senses that are on a “superhuman” level from his first few appearances, Garou was still really broken. There are people in verse for The Boys who lacked Garou’s speed feats and managed to still harm people who’s skin is as hard as steel shortly after he starts awakening his own “Suit” like abilities through his monstrous adaptation. It’s tough to say because it would depend on if Garou could avoid being killed long enough to get stronger. There are more sympathetic suits, but if he was unlucky enough to come against The All American Douche while Homelander is bloodlusted (which can be for literally no damn reason) then Garou would let his pride get him killed. It’s actually really interesting to think about how Garou would adapt in a different series because he has to fight dozens to nearly a hundred different heroes, all getting stronger than the last, in order to keep up his absurd growth, but in Boys world, there are more limited “unique” talents in the world who’s extra abilities and in some cases hacks might actually be a straight up end to him. Garou in his first appearance vs the Boys verse at ep.1 would probably end Garou, after beating The TTA though, he would completely wafflestomp the whole verse, in the comics. Anime really scale different my god.

Garou hates the heroes of OPM because they are in it for fame and rankings, treating it like a job to compete over. He felt the monsters were oppressed because heroes gloat over them and act like they're above everything. The boys system makes it a job, and they're all showing off how special they are. Offering Garou compound V is the exact same thing as Monsters offering him the Monster fruit. He'd spit on it Garou, however, adores Super Sentai and genuinely helps civilians, showing that he admires true heroism. Rewardless and selfless Also, with Homelander's attitude will 100% mock Garou for having no powers and that will earn him a full water smash combo in the jaw

If you haven't read the manga up to date then spoilers are coming up but shining black steel (or whatever his name is) literally has a moment where an acid so potent it melts through literally anything instantly is poured on his hands and later on his chest and, although it seems to burn through his skin (and literally expose his knuckles), his muscles are completely fine.
Honestly perfectly in character for him. Just like in the Saitama fight, he ends up being the perfect force of good.
Just because we as readers, viewers, etc, know the heroes in the boys are corrupted and evil, doesnt mean the people do. All the stuff they do is behind the scenes and they are manipulative people. An example of this is a boy with cancer asking to see his favorite hero translucent, showing he loves the heroes. If Garou showed up and started killing them, he would be branded as a villain by vought and by the media. The pubic would not love Garou

It’s quite important to keep in mind that most authors don’t intend for their characters to be “light speed” when they dodge things moving at or near the speed of light. The vast majority of the time something like this happens in a series, it’s pretty clear the characters are reacting to the person aiming the blasts, not the beams themselves. It’s a feat of prediction infinitely more than raw reflexes.
Real humans dodge bullets all the time in instances of armed conflict. They don’t do it by seeing the bullet.

Hero hunter Garou wouldn’t be able to one shot someone like Homelander. He’s definitely going to be his biggest obstacle in his human form. But still, I think he’s capable of whooping Homelander’s @ss. Really because of his flowing water technique and because he’s an actual competent fighter. Unlike Homelander. But he would need to be very careful cause if he doesn’t rely on his flowing water technique (at this point in the story he was still very stubborn in not using it) he could die from either Homelander tackling him at insane speed. Or just going “fuck it” and just uses his laser vision.

So even if Garou dosent one shot Homelander, he would still make quick work of him. Even assuming Homelander can survive nukes, that still only puts him at multi city block level to town level. @@pugy2000 Honestly, using scaling is a bit weird. If we were using all his feats from beginning to the latest chapter then yeah it’d be useful. But this is only base Garou. All you need to do is look at his fights from his debut to right before his limiter starts cracking. And more importantly, look at the full context of his fights and not oversimplify it. Like his fight with Tanktop Master. Garou didn’t just overwhelm Tanktop with raw strength. In fact, he was forced to rely on flowing water technique to be able to dominate Tanktop. Basically having to use Tanktop’s strength to defeat him. By using the technique it implies that Tanktop was physically stronger than him. Or you can look at his fight with Metal Bat, which is the easiest to determine how durable Garou is. Garou admits that had even one of Bat’s attacks landed, he would have lost. Metal Bat during the peak of that fight, was capable of destroying buildings. But even earlier, his attacks were still a threat to Garou. Not to mention, that last strike he made before his sister interrupted was too fast for Garou to fully react. And Murata did say that Metal Bat is slower than Sonic. So therefore, Garou is even slower than Sonic. But I think the best example on why Garou isn’t multi city level in durability during this part of the story is by looking at his interaction with Saitama. Garou literally passes out after one strike from Saitama. Keep in mind, Saitama thought he was just some random guy picking a fight with him. So he obviously held back, hitting him without lethal intent. Not to mention, arrows can pierce his skin with ease, Golden Ball’s bullets could also cut Garou.
But like I said, Garou still has a good chance at defeating Homelander, it’s just that Homelander could easily kill Garou if he gets cocky. And at this early in the story, Garou was pretty arrogant. Like more arrogant than I remember. He takes down one S rank hero and thinks he’s the goat. Basically, his ego could be his downfall. Especially if he doesn’t expect Homelander to be shooting laser beams out of his eyes. Garou has no way of countering that with flowing water. It’s all dependent on if Homelander feels like beating down Garou rather than the ol reliable. If he does try to fight him with brute force, he’ll get a nasty beating from flowing water. It’ll basically be like what happened with Tanktop Master, but it’ll last a bit longer. Again, I just want to say that I do think Garou can win and even give Homelander a good beating with flowing water. Would love to see that animated cause screw Homelander. But I just want to be fair and unbiased about this. Unlike how a lot of Garou fans are behaving in this comment section. Not including you of course. I’m just saying that Garou still has a reasonable chance of dying horribly by Homelander. If he gets too cocky. It may very well end similar to how his fight with Metal Bat went. He thought he knocked him out and as soon as he walks away, Metal Bat’s right behind him and about to send him to One. Except this time there wouldn’t be a little girl interfering. But again, this is just a chance that it may happen. Homelander is so evil, I doubt Garou would stop after he’s been knocked out by his own strength. Even A class heroes like Lightning Max are city block level, which is higher than any actual feats Homelander has. And I'm a bit confused on where you're coming from with the flowing water argument, I think I get what you're trying to say, but Garous whole thing has always been replicating techniques and so it should be considered as part of his arsenal. As far as Metal Bat goes, you seem to be low balling him significantly, in the hypothetical Carnage Kabuto fights Metal Bat lasted longer than most of the other S class heroes, which puts him at least at large town level. And that would have taken place around season one, so he should have become stronger by season two as in the manga when he was working with garou rather than against him, he was at least continent level (I'm not saying he was that strong in their fight, I'm just using it as an example for him getting stronger). As for the Saitama argument, I would say that's valid, but Saitama is always as strong as he needs to be to be funny or cool. They weren't going to do a Garou vs Saitama fight so early, so he was supposed to be funny rather than cool. Not to mention Saitama has one shotted characters like Carnage Kabuto who he didn't see as a threat, but I see where you're coming from. Garou was just like saitama he would come back from even death just because it made him stronger. The manga even said he was "breaking his limiter" meaning he was close to becoming what saitama was. He just couldn't. But he'd straight roll this entire verse after fighting a few of them and getting stronger. Even if someone were to best him, he'd come back stronger.

You forgot the most important skill Garou has. In One Punch Man emotions and wishes can take place with hard work and focus, it's the entire reason the monsters exist and why Saitama is as strong as he js. Garou would consistently get stronger and stronger if Homelander can't land a killing blow (which is insanely unlikely) until he could decimate him with one hit. I totally get going off of feats (it's the easiest way to compare strength), but this is a very important factor that got overlooked

One thing to ALWAYS remember when talking about this, is how much energy will really hit you. Taking a tsar bomba explosion is NOT the same as getting a 300 kt - 2 mt punch. You can NEVER just look at the numbers. In a 50 mt explosion you won't get hit by all the energy, only some of it, in a 2 mt punch you will get hit with most of the energy. Try taking a 100 joule punch to the face, that's gonna hurt, now take the 100 joule from a .22.
It's basically the principle behind a sword. Getting hit with a 6 pound block of wood will hurt, but a 6 pound sword condenses all of that force into an incredibly small space that can't absorb it

If we're talking any form past season 2 he solos all at the same time zero effort including Homelander. Red Garou is easily a high dragon level threat and defeats Darkshine with mid difficulty. Monster Garou is above dragon. Defeats Bang and Bomb, kills Vomited Fuehrer Ugly with a single kick. Overpowers Evil Natural Water, Golden Sperm, trillions of Black Sperm and Homeless Emperor in 100ths to 1000ths of a second. All of which are high dragon level threats. Defeats Flashy Flash who is possible as fast as light speed if not faster. Kills Platinum Sperm with minimal difficulty. Kills Sage Centipede who doesn't even get a threat level. Just a "???". In a single chop. He transforms several times after that and is possibly planet level. Cosmic Garou is galactic + maybe multi-galactic if you high ball him.

It's more about "Can Garou beat the Seven, Homelander included, before it comes time for lunch since he still needs to find and beat King". Let's be honest, even base form Garou has shown enough feats for us to make a comfortable conclusion that he will beat the will to live out of most of them and by the time he gets around his post TTM fight, he is already strong enough to make HL his bitch. Which is all too in line with Garou since "heroes" in The Boys universe exhibit ALL the traits Garou hates about most heroes. That being, that most of them are heroes because of fame and money, not because they want to actually help people.

Honestly I think it would be strikingly similar to the fight in the show/comics. The seven would use tactics to try to pin Garou into some compromising positions, landing semi-damaging blows here and there. But just trike in the show, he would simply power through and then adeptly either outright defeat or outmaneuver each of the seven. Honestly the most dangerous combo to me is Starlight and A-Train/Homelander, as the combination of hyperfast attacks and strengths being supported by blinding or stunning Garou might give some larger opportunities to damage him. (Although, power scaling wise it's unlikely they could ever truly kill him)
Yeah, the true strength of Garou is his power scaling just getting broken everytime he’s near death. To kill him would need it to be quick and not give him the chance to evolve.. (Forgot her name) the lady who explodes brain matter still technically count as the Seven so she may/may not be able to finish Garou in less than 10 second without him even realizing what’s going on. Or that Kid with insane telekinesis and then the Vomit guy combo could end him fairly quick. (Darkshine is comparatively far superior than Garou in terms of Defense and Body mass yet stomach Acid could still kill him in second so i believe Garou will be quicker dealt with)
Did you not hear the part about Homelander flying faster than A Train can run and Garou being able to move many many times faster than that. I dont think A train could even land a hit on him. And if A Train can dodge Starlights lasers than why couldn't Garou? I think that in a way Homelander being impossible to be dealt with using modern weapons also takes his speed into consideration, but also fact that nobody in their right mind wants to test out nukes on the guy, and nobody wants to try to hit man this fast with a Nuke if his speed is to be taken into account.
Trying to hit a Supe with such speed and durability is gonna do horrifying demage, even if corporation can whip out and use nukes they're likely unwilling to use them as doing so would be a catastrophically bad idea.
Actually Russian test’s dates on Soldier Bot in the show coincide with infamous IRL Tzar Bomb test done in that one Russian village.
He survived it unscathed and developed mini-nuke powers.
Homelander is tougher and stronger than Soldier Boy, by a little bit.
So, nuke would not work on him either.
Actually, people really over-estimated the explosive power of a nuke. In a sense that all of that force is spread around the very small epicenter of explosion, as opposed to being concentrated in a single spot. Nuke loses a lot of power due to the large blast radius.
Nuke might be BS level of destructiveness against humans, but it is very survivable when taking meta-humans into account - since they are unlikely to be hit with the very epicenter of it.
But even that does not really matter. Garou is able to reflect the force dished out, and it was shown that Homelander can get hurt by SB’s attacks, so, he DEFINITELY gets hurt by his own attacks.
So, it won’t be a challenge. The brute-force fight would go just like it did with Dark-steel alloy body-builder guy.
The ONLY challenge Garou would face are Homelander’s “lasers”. But since they obviously don’t travel at a speed of light in the show, he will dodge them exactly like he dodged Geno’s attacks.
So, Garou wins, even if in base form.
It would be cool to see Garou's fight with Homelander start similar to his fight with Tanktop Master. I love Garou's counter to the second punch.

Monster Garou is way too overkill. That version is already borderline planetary and easily faster than Light. We're talking about Human Garou with Grey Hair and even that version can solo the 7 pretty easily (only if we massively highball Homelander does it even come close).
This isn't a fight. This is an execution.
Even if The Seven could beat him, they'd likely only be sent in to capture him for study. As Garou, through training and being gifted alone, was able to reach a level of strength that allowed him to take out Tank Top Master with just a few serious blows. And even brought the fight with Genos to a stalemate despite being absolutely abused just moments before the fight. He achieved this strength naturally, which in the universe of The Boys, is absolutely unheard of.
Not to mention his insane spurts of growth that he experiences DURING battle. The Seven, even if they could contend with an early Garou while teaming up on him, they'd all be annihilated in minutes if they didn't kill him immediately.
They will be analated by his half monster form, his monster form will literally make them die inside.

Didn't Maeve actually end up stabbing homelander in the ear? If so then it shows that homelander can be damaged, and we already know Garou is far stronger than Maeve
She also makes him bleed by punching him in the nose and despite his claim that he could easily tank a nuke, he straight up tries to nope the fuck out when soldier boy tries it on him.

I doubt he could actually copied the pure raw power and endurance of someone like Madara, or Saitama like Garou did.

Great video. I did also want to say that the way Garou fights means Homelander's superhuman strength would ultimately work against him. Multiple times in the manga has it been shown that strength is actually a negative factor for Garou's opponents if they cannot match up to his speed. He would simply turn all of Homelander's punches against him and he would be out of options.
Yeah. Given that Homelander could be damaged by punches from Soldier Boy, he definitely would lose there.
It would be a nice twist if Homelander were to be magnitudes more durable than he is stronger (akin to Saitama).
But with Homelander’s stats and weaknesses, the fight against him would be as winnable for Garou as the fight against Darkshine Alloy
People are forgetting that this is only human garou, not monster, and not cosmic fear. Though I still think he would slam. Wouldn't even struggle.

With A-Train's top speed, it's important to realize he is running on a 1/4 mile track, which keeps him running in a tight circle and is likely unable to reach his true top speed.

One note about that, having a high top running speed is basically worthless in a fight. While a Bugatti Veyron can hit a higher top end than a Formula 1 car the F1 will absolutely DOMINATE the Veyron around Laguna Seca. Being able to run fast does not mean you can punch fast.

Deep Sea King has feats far beyond all of the boys. So this is a hard stomp in Garou's favor. Seeing how pre Tank Top Master hero hunter Garou would low dif Deep Sea King.

Depending which version of Garuo you put up against the seven. Without a doubt he would win. Probably the version of garuo that went up against the dog and the monster king guy. But in general a more fair match might have been someone from the invincible universe. The boys are strong but they are in one punch man worlds. Threat level demon. Whereas invincible can be a threat level dragon. God would be too much of a push but it gives the idea how weaker the boys world is. Compared to invincible. Good much up but is a quick and easy answer to say the least. But honestly that is a very interesting idea to have garuo in the boys universe. In the end that’s a perfect story with him added
Homelander and maybe Soldier Boy are demon. The others are tiger or fringe demon at best with Maeve, Starlight and A-train. Translucent is wolf- low tiger

Even based purely on his exceptional human conditioning and we can say “ki” or training based senses that are on a “superhuman” level from his first few appearances, Garou was still really broken. There are people in verse for The Boys who lacked Garou’s speed feats and managed to still harm people who’s skin is as hard as steel shortly after he starts awakening his own “Suit” like abilities through his monstrous adaptation. It’s tough to say because it would depend on if Garou could avoid being killed long enough to get stronger. There are more sympathetic suits, but if he was unlucky enough to come against The All American Douche while Homelander is bloodlusted (which can be for literally no damn reason) then Garou would let his pride get him killed. It’s actually really interesting to think about how Garou would adapt in a different series because he has to fight dozens to nearly a hundred different heroes, all getting stronger than the last, in order to keep up his absurd growth, but in Boys world, there are more limited “unique” talents in the world who’s extra abilities and in some cases hacks might actually be a straight up end to him. Garou in his first appearance vs the Boys verse at ep.1 would probably end Garou, after beating The TTA though, he would completely wafflestomp the whole verse, in the comics. Anime really scale different my god.

I wonder how garou would fair against comic The Seven. Homelander and black noir have some insane durability feats that would certainly give him trouble, and the only thing that they could use threaten a growing up homelander was strapping a hydrogen bomb to him.

i was so unimpressed with homelanders final battle in season 3, I thought that even Viral from ttgl could hang on in a fist fight with tvseries Homelander. Later in the series he was gifted an immortal body from Spiral King, so i think he definitely could.
Whats really funny is that I can imagine the Boys getting on really well with Garou when they get past the point that he's not doped up on V.

Garou hates the heroes of OPM because they are in it for fame and rankings, treating it like a job to compete over. He felt the monsters were oppressed because heroes gloat over them and act like they're above everything. The boys system makes it a job, and they're all showing off how special they are.
Offering Garou compound V is the exact same thing as Monsters offering him the Monster fruit. He'd spit on it
