If you just want to experience the AQ(main storylines) then just watch the walkthrough of GI, no need to play the game so u won't get any so called "fillers". Any game or work of fiction includes extra things, those extra things makes the story alive. Fillers are something that doesn't impact anything in the story at all. In the whole 4.x patches only 4.3 and 4.5 can be considered as real fillers. 4.4 gave us more lore about Liuye, 4.6 gave us lore about Rimuria, 4.8 gave us more lore about the Hexancircle Witches. 4.7 had AQ.
I can't believe that we've been through this game for 4 years straight and it's already reaching new insane lores in every nation we enter, here I wasn't really that excited for Natlan and man I regretted on said that before
for real man. personally I was on the opposite boat in terms of excitement after Fontaine. Having played since launch, the story and lore has hit another level ever since Sumeru and I can't wait for Natlan and the future 🥲 (also Natlan's main theme is soooooo so good)

Out of all of the beautiful (archon) quests, the Sumeru one is just best imo. I love Sumeru so so much ahh. It gives me so much nostalgia for some reason.
I think the height of the game was Inazuma, but Sumeru was awesome too. Everybody being trapped in that Sumsera Cycle thing was really cool and that story really had me in my feelings.

I think Sumeru was the start of the downhill decline of Genshin at the time too, but I still enjoyed the story. The gameplay and the Aranara stuff got kind of confusing at that point in the game so I completely understand.

They directly refuses Navia's request for help after the first act in Fontaine, stating that it's simply not their problem But maybe after being told so many times that the "destination might not be as important as the journey itself", you should understand what the story is trying to tell, because for sure the Traveler has already
To be fair, Nahida I think restored some faith in them because she genuinely tried her best and gave the traveller a bit of hope, and they know that the journey is what their sibling went through to get where they are, so they're tracing them.

He’s been making mora since the beginning of Liyue, 3700 years ago via his SQ1 talking about making the first house of Liyue fully out of mora… and the end of the archon war and the likely place a gnosis is given was 2000 years ago. The Geo Gemstone says its his flesh and blood, even people from Sumeru says so. And he’s called Deus Auri by Neuvi, literally meaning “Gold God”. Add that in The Dialogue of the Desert Sage, the magical wand looking polearm… Aamon said that transformation into gold and mora are the Sole Province of Deus Auri. In the AQ, Zhongli was talking about needing the Geo Archon’s power to create mora… who is suppose to be dead, it won’t make sense if new mora still is being minted or more are appearing out of no where when the only god that can make mora is dead… basically its Zhongli being vague at best… which he is…a lot of times like his age…

I think the Fatui probably have 6/7 of the Gnoses. The Fatui took the Anemo, Geo, Electro, Dendro, and Hydro gnoses. Since the Tsaritsa is the Cryo Archon, odds are high she already possesses the Cryo gnosis unless something unexpected happened... So if my assumption that the Cryo archon has the Cryo gnosis is correct, then the Pyro gnosis is the final chess piece to obtain...
my guess is we'll finaly learn of and twart the fatui's plan in sneznaya and in kaenrhia, we'll deal with the abyss order like it the whole arc was a massive dainsleif quest. what i really hope, though, is that the final fight with the abyss order will be some sort of avenger end game moment, where every character we ever met join their forces with us. even some fatui like tartaglia and arlechino and the archons. ua-cam.com/video/oKtPL3-9OUM/v-deo.html

Yeah thats was makes me sad the story at the begining is great but the sangonomiya part to the end is soo messy and having already played sumeru and fontaine AQ makes me really sad that inazuma dont have the same treatment like now 😢
I wouldn't use the word perfect, but rather it had the base of something being good but wasted it. I hope we could get future events that could at least improve some of these things
It seems that most all the Archons that the traveller meet so far has a intention of or has an event that seems having something to do to the liberation of the people of all Teyvat and its beings. Maybe just maybe most of the current Archons want it except for the Tsaritsa (or maybe its an act to convince people that she is cold hearted) that in the end she will have the middle finger in front of the Heavenly Principles. The Archons however will remain to guide the people just to ensure that the powers and the beings of the Abyss will be at bay. Also to avoid the same mistakes of Khaenri'ah.

Although The Global scale production of Mora is done by Liyue Golden House with the help of geo gnosis (as it stopped operating when it's taken) there's no line or text in game that ever says Mora is created by the power of Geo Gnosis in the first place. According to Zhongli SQ1, Rex Lapis taught his people how to build a house using Mora at the beginning of Liyue Harbor's construction. Following the recent info from Xianyun's SQ about Guili Assembly's fall being the peak of Liyue Archon War, that means Rex Lapis relocating his people back to the sounth of Mt.Tianheng and the construction of Liyue Harbor were done at the height of war. He wasn't even an archon yet he already had the power to build a house of out Mora. Not to mention how Hoyo pushing his Deus Auri title a lot lately. So it isn't about Geo Gnosis being the power that creates Mora, but about Liyue Golden House is no longer able to produce Mora without it hence the "no new Mora can be minted".
I don't usually comment on videos I've watched, but I felt compelled to say something after watching your video. I sincerely congratulate you on the quality of your editing and narration. The slices of many lore videos and the pronunciations were impeccable. It looked like it was one big, beautiful cutscene. Since it's a relatively short video, I felt it was a bit too summarized. But at least you managed to bring up the main points of each arc, which is great for older players who don't want to watch hours of old quests again. We know some archon are okay with taking the gnosis to the Fatui. And the Heavenly Principle is not awoken all these times. Nahida says that destroying the gnosis might take Celestia attention. It think the tsaritsa want to take all the gnosis to awaken the Heavenly Principles. Because there might be incoming threat which is the Sinner.

Zhongli actually knows something about our brother. It's been a really long time but I still remember getting upset at him because he said he knew but had a contract, and couldn't say anything.

Coming back right before 5.0 ends and im so glad I can just skip the story straight to the natlan storyline, I skiped the entirety of sumeru and the 2nd half of fontained. Ty for the recap
Mondstadt was like a fresh breeze of air. Liyue had a rock-solid plot. Inazuma struck me like lightning. Sumeru plot blossomed into a beautiful story. Fontaine story made me cry. And Natlan story is fire. Given all that I think Snezhnaya will be pretty cool.
What frightens me is how headstrong Lumine (I chose Aether as my Traveler) is in reviving Khaenriah, to the point that she doesn't seem to care about the current world. The siblings are in a direct collision course against each other. And the end result is gonna get ugly.

i can’t stop thinking about how focalors trapped neuvillette into being among her people without his powers so that he would care / save them when he got his power restored, and how the traveller was trapped by a god among the people of teyvet without her powers and is learning to care for / save these people despite definitely supposed to be on the abyss side (given their twin’s position throughout the interludes). such a cool foreshadowing imo.

We know some archon are okay with taking the gnosis to the Fatui. And the Heavenly Principle is not awoken all these times. Nahida says that destroying the gnosis might take Celestia attention. It think the tsaritsa want to take all the gnosis to awaken the Heavenly Principles. Because there might be incoming threat which is the Sinner.

8:47 For those who wants to be technical with the story: just like Venti - Zhongli knows (they are oldest Archons) but cant and dont want to disclose all of Teyvat history per the contracts and out of his personal views that the Traveler and Paimon should witness everything for themselfs.
Zhongli actually knows something about our brother. It's been a really long time but I still remember getting upset at him because he said he knew but had a contract, and couldn't say anything.

What frightens me is how headstrong Lumine (I chose Aether as my Traveler) is in reviving Khaenriah, to the point that she doesn't seem to care about the current world. The siblings are in a direct collision course against each other. And the end result is gonna get ugly.

i can’t stop thinking about how focalors trapped neuvillette into being among her people without his powers so that he would care / save them when he got his power restored, and how the traveller was trapped by a god among the people of teyvet without her powers and is learning to care for / save these people despite definitely supposed to be on the abyss side (given their twin’s position throughout the interludes). such a cool foreshadowing imo.
