I mean let’s be real, most of us as fans saw the pirate ship and were like holy shits that’s so cool I’m in. Like as a five year old seeing that on tv my brain couldn’t comprehend football but seeing a team that would fire cannons anytime they score was so cool.
I've been a Bucs fan my entire life, and while the pirate ship is cool, the pirate ship that the WWE built for Wrestlemania a few years ago in Tampa was like 4-times as large. I always hoped the Bucs would just buy it and put it in the other endzone as there's nothing there.
Tom Grossi should be the symbolic role model of the United States 🇺🇸 Bringing NFL fans and rivalry together. Blessings to this man and a huge honor getting to watch Tom grow.
Had a blast at the Tampa fan event. Tom you told every one of us that you appreciate us. Well I hope you know how much WE appreciate you Tom. Because we truly do!
Saw my little brother on the video, he’s gonna be so happy and just celebrated his 10th birthday yesterday. Oh and me as well but I was looking out for him lol. Seriously, thank you for coming to Tampa, that truly meant everything to me and everyone else who was there. Not sure when the next time this opportunity might happen but you bet that I’ll have the streams up during the game when I go to the stadium if the game is one sided or just to say hey. Thanks for being my role model 💚💛❤️🖤
As a UK fan, it's a shame I missed you. I'm flying out to Tampa today to spend time with my Fiancée. You're doing great work Tom. Good luck with the rest of your journey
5:23 yooo that’s me! I’m wearing the Bucs shirt with the Tampa Bay lighting hat standing next to my brother (who was gracious enough to bring me here, though he’s not into sports). That was an awesome experience I had where I finally got to me a UA-camr who I’ve been watching for a while. I wish you luck with your journey and GO PACK GO (though for me it’s (GO BUCS GO, AND GO BOLTS).
Glad that Tampa gave you a great time. As a bucs fan from the pnw it’s awesome to see how the organization and fandom continues to be great. While our fan base is tiny we are pretty loyal to the team. Go Bucs! Fire them Cannons!
Thank you again so much for coming!! Definitely can’t wait to see you around and if you ever want to go see a launch or Kennedy Space Center, let me know. There are some great viewing areas!
2:23 Tom: No... Me: Square Toilet? :::Spongebob Narrarator Voice::: 12 seconds later Tom and Johnny: NOOOO! :::Square Toilet revealed::: Me: How TF did i know!?
i bet now the first teams on this 30/30 (Vikings,Lions,Bears) they regret not being more receptive and welcoming to you !!! but thats okay ,now I bet that the following teams will be more welcoming and opened to this awesome cause ! well done Tom !!!
4:06 might just be my favorite moment of Tom's entire cross-country journey to each NFL stadium. I laughed like it was straight out of "The 3 Stooges". 😂 I can't help but wonder if the Buccaneers will follow suit like the Dolphins and Jaguars within Florida and manufacture some futuristic stadium renovations eventually. Those fans gotta want some version of a canopy cover too, right? The way I see it, if there's enough Buccaneers fans whom support doing this, we could see something major happen. The real trick would be trying to make it look piratey so it meshes well with the existing design structure. Without sounding too clever, I say 30 in 30 #19 was arrright by my own standards.
Tom, you and your crew do amazing work. Undeniable. As a lifelong fan of the Packers, and by extension, I suppose football in general, I still can’t wrap my head around why the NFL, the individual teams that you are visiting and giving glory to -and most importantly- the players that constitute the greatness of each of those teams… haven’t stepped up!?!? Where are our “heroes”? Perhaps the answer lies in the question. It’s never really been about the players or the teams, but about the people… the people/fans clearly have made this happen, but only because of the inspiration of the great Tom Grossi and crew. Ya’ll are the heros. Nonetheless, it’s time for those with means beyond the average person to step up and do their part to help those in the greatest need. It’s time to put your talent and earning power to work (that’s you, @NFL and amazing players). There are children who’s lives you can literally save… if you have the balls. So… to every great NFL player, team, owner, and anyone else involved in the great institution that is football… it’s time. step up. It’s that simple.
All the other groups and people bothering for attention. Plus or minus the goodness of a set organization. Players in OTA, Mini Camp or on vacation. Working or on vacation.
It's crazy how teams are even reaching out the day of, to give Tom a tour. Loved that he got go on the Pirate ship. How does that work for games? Are those actual seats you can buy for the game?
You can indeed pay to actually stand on the ship during games. It can also be rented out for private events, I was the ring bearer at my uncles wedding when I was 9 and it was on the pirate ship, it was badass
Only a New Yorker would wear jeans in Florida in the summer. But seriously, Bucs aren't one of those teams I low key root for, but Raymond James is a great stadium and who doesn't love that pirate ship? I love their fans too and I'm so glad everyone can come together to do chaotic good. Keep kicking ass, Tom.
❤We found you by your voice and uniqueness. We parked North. Thank you Tom and Johnny for your extraordinary work!!! For St Jude's kids, parents, staff🙏❤️ I was praying for you guys to have the opportunity to see RJS and the Pirate Ship. I had faith in our Bucs. Your sound effect is perfect , it does sounds like when they actually fire the canons 😂 Go Bucs !!! 🏴☠️❤
As a Floridian, I can concur, Houston is probably the only place that rivals and beats the Florida heat/humidity. I've lived in Texas thanks to the military, and outside Houston the dry heat (same as the southwest deserts) is much more tolerable.
Whose that doofus in the obnoxiously bright yellow Chiefs jersey? Oh wait, that’s me! It was so great to meet you Tom. Looking forward to seeing your Kansas City video.
Oh Yeaaah! Semi-reasonable sleep for once! I know you've got a TON to do to make 30 in 30 possible, and the grind is respectable, but I respect taking care of yourselves and your bodies even more.
Sorry I missed you in Pittsburgh, really glad the team, and city rolled out the red carpet for you. What you are doing is amazing, and you truly are the change I want to see.
There is no other series that I am waiting so anxiously for the next episode, and when it drops I feel like I must watch right now. Metallica might play in my house and I would tell them to turn it down because I want to hear 30 in 30 .
The fan event was so much fun! It was an honor to meet you and hear your stories and just be a part of such a great community! (P.S. Rain be damned, I will throw that touchdown to you one day)
76 Bucs Fan from the 0-26 start and lived through the worst regular season record in the NFL and until Brady the worst regular season record in US professional sports franchises. ADHD got me again the most common trait mistaking day and time got me and I thought it was the next day. Glad you came by.
When Grossi announced this 30 in 30 I thought wouldn't it be impressive if at least a few QB's actually showed up. Then I thought as jaded as we are, they'd be accused of trying to steal the spot lite. You know, Aaron Rodgering the whole media or Lebroning it. But, if it had been Brady, Mahomes, Burrow or even Lamar I don't think I'd believe they did it for any other reason than to help this worthy charity. I'm sure many NFL players will donate privately in the dark not seeking public acknowledgement but if anyone of them ask the fans to donate, They Would. Just a thought. We can use our place in life to enrich the world. Go Tom, Go.
