Seems strange to spend so much time on other brands. I have seal pods and they aren’t getting pierced/water not going through. I tried piercing with a fork, and it dripped a little. It seems to be too much trouble! Thank you for trying to help!
Hi Laurey, sorry for the issue you are having, it might because the water pressure is not strong enough and your machine needs to be descaling, or you could also try tamping the pod with less pressure (we recommend filling 1.5 scoops of ESPRESSO ground coffee)
We just got a nespresso ventuo for Christmas and it works fine with the prefilled capsules. When we try to use the reusable (stainless steel) pod, it only produces about 2-3 ounces of coffee with good crema and then the orange cleaning mode light starts blinking. I followed all of your suggested tips and it still happened. Any ideas? We have to unplug it to get it out of cleaning mode and reuse it again
Hi, that means the capsule is not compatible with your machine, Which capsule(brand) did you purchase? if you ordered from Amazon you can return it and ask for the refund. It it's might be because Nespresso Vertuoline have their own patented barcode beneath the capsule, and they don't recognize other barcodes, that's why we recommend using their own capsules with Silicone covers.
great video! I was wondering whether it was possible to use reusable capsules in a machine (not a nespresso machine per se) compatible with nespresso capsules? Thanks in advance!
Thanks!, Do you mean a capsule machine that not from the Nespresso Brand? If so, then it will probably work but we are not 100% sure since we haven't tried them
Thanks a lot for ur valuable advices about Nespresso pods. My question is about Nespresso Delonghi EN 270 machine, which pod is suitable for it and that will fit ? Thanks in advance.
Hi Abdel!, thanks for the nice comment. You can try the Sealpod Capsules if you want a result more similar to the Nespresso pods, but if you are on a budget you can also get the other Reusable Capsules that Uses STICKER LIDS, We recommend using the ones with sticker lids for best result and its also less burden for the machine in our opinion 😁
Nice video. Great info. Weirdly enough I've got a 20 year old original krups nespresso machine and just today I tried a waycap inox reusable capsule and had to force the handle to close the machine just to find out that I had bent the needles inside. It still works with aluminium capsules but the needles are clearly bent. Just felt it with my finger. Witch is weird. Aren't all nespresso machines built the same capsule size wise?
Mine is a dolce gusto machine, and the motipod stainless steel pods came with three , two metal and one paper? Filters. How and in what order filters used. Without filters, the softer ground is in the coffee.

Very helpful but I wish you made espresso in the video using the reusables.
Thanks for all the information, great video. Continue with the nice job you are doing...
Thank you so much!

I thought the idea of a nespresso machine was the convenience and NO MESS. I think its a big risk using these. Will stuff the machine and messy.
