I would say that Sealpod and Waycup have best performance in terms of richness, aroma and body. If you want to fill your capsules in advance and have them prepared for anytime, I would recommend Sealpod because it comes with the fresh cover and the lids makes it air-tight. If you have time to fill your capsule when you want to brew it, Waycup is also a good option, because it does not have consumable.

Number 4, the slow one is the best, imho. Nespresso in general bews way too fast, the coffee is therefo a bot watery. You'd want the first drops to come out thick and slow, oily, like honey. Make the grind finer and tamp with more force, in order to get real espresso.

hey. is it possible to make good big capuccino with double short espresso shots from reusable capsules ? because every disposale capsule of nespresso\compatible is 5.5 gram usually, and the reusable capsules conatins even less i think. so, in my delonghi ecov 11 I need to use 13 gRams of ground coffee to make big capucccino.(80 ml shots and the rest is 180 ml of whipped milk). Hi Liz, if you want a richer crema and fuller body we would recommend our Sealpod capsules, but if you want the most ecofriendly pod that doesn't require consumable you can consider the ones with metal lid :)
In our office we use pixie machine most of the time, we thinks it's brewing quality is more stable than essenza mini, but the con is that it makes more noise
Thanks for the video! Question please: I am using Starbucks espresso dark roast which is for espresso/ fine grind. I am following instructions and tamping my coffee in the pod but ALWAYS get weak crema! Any tips for tamping to get strong crema with this particular coffee?? Thanks!
I have tested using Starbucks Espresso Dark roast before and it produces quite good results. If you are getting weak crema, 1. check if you are filling and tamping your capsule abit so it have more pressure before coming out, fill at least 4.5g-5g of ground coffee. 2. make sure you have descaled your machine (normally every 6 months) so water pressure is normal. 3. Make sure to use capsules that comes with Aluminium lids for better results. If your reusable capsule uses metal cover, the existing hole will not allow pressure to build inside, so it will not produce good crema. Let me know if any of this helps.

Since every capsule is different I cannot assure you if it will work, but generally just fill the pod to the top then lightly press it, fill a little bit more and it's done, In case of the Sealpod capsule it comes with a spoon so you can precisely measure one and a half scoop
